我和轩轩、坤坤、欣欣分为一组。来到现场，我们看中了一颗较为矮小的树，可是这棵树苗被另一颗粗大的树压着，我们使出了吃奶的力气，怎么也拖不出来。这时，叶老师刚好走过，看到大家这副窘境，便过来帮助我们。可是大树苗的树枝已经和小树苗缠在了一起，非常难分开，于是坤坤和叶老师扶住大树苗，我们其他人将小树苗“拯救”了出来，并把小树苗移入坑内。

接下来该填土了，轩轩负责寻找松软湿润的泥土，我和欣欣在他的探路下，用铁铲将找好的泥填入坑内，坤坤负责把小树苗扶正，将大块的泥土踩碎、压紧。小树苗在大家齐心合力的努力下种好了，我们把满载着希望的爱心植树卡挂在了小树苗的身上，祝愿它茁壮成长。

地球妈妈需要绿色，让我们爱护环境，从我做起，来保护我们赖以生存的家园吧!

畅销的酵素可以自制，废纸可以造风车，5日，一年一度的世界环境日，洪山区派出首批环保小分队进驻关山荷兰风情园，为周边居民提供环保健康服务。

洪山环保小分队由洪山区环保、园林部门、环保企业及中南民族大学、华中科技大学、武汉理工大学等高校联手成立，将进入社区，上门为居民提供花卉栽培、家庭装修环保、安全用水、抗雾霾、废弃物利用等多种生活咨询服务。

昨日，来自9个单位的20多位志愿者组成一支小分队，参加首次现场活动。关山荷兰风情园的4名园艺师为居民讲解花草栽培小知识，提醒居民不要把含羞草、夹竹桃、一品红等花卉放在室内。黄鹤社会工作服务中心现场教居民用废弃的餐厨垃圾制作酵素。中南民族大学环保协会、华中科技大学文华学院绿风创作室的同学们将废旧的饮料瓶、鞋盒、衣服、纸张制成精美的手工艺品。

Trees are important resources. They provide us with wood, which is not only an important building material, but also indispensable in making paper, furniture, matches and many other useful things. Without tress, we would perhaps still be living in caves, and our life would be very miserable.

Trees also do good to our environment. They not only make our world greener and more beautiful but also produce oxygen which makes the air we breathe fresher and better for our health. What’s more, trees help maintain ecological balance, which is very important to our survival.

Fortunately, trees, unlike other resources, can be “reproduced”. While coal and oil can be burnt up and exhausted, trees will never be used up because we can always plant new ones. In order to provide a good guidance and reference for nearly 1000 senior high graduates in our school, the Student Union made a survey on the filling applications for the college entrance examinations among the previous year graduates. According to the statistics of the survey, half of the graduates accepted their teachers’ suggestions for the reason that teachers have a better understanding of their interests, specialties and schooling experiences. 35% of the graduates followed their parents advice as they are used to obeying their arrangements and trusted their decision. 10% of the graduates preferred to make an independent choice as they hold that nobody know them better than themselves and since it is their rights to fill applications they hope to win respect from teachers and parents. 今天是3月12日植树节，我们三年级的同学去乡下植树。一大早，我就准备好了种树的装备，一把小铁铲和一个大水桶，我的心里又高兴又紧张。

我们要种树的地方是在一个农庄里，里面有各种各样的果树。农庄里的叔叔带我们来到了一块空地上，给我们分好了种树的地方，然后又教了我们怎么挖土和种树。我挑了一棵小树苗放在边上，然后用铁铲开始挖土，我又挖又敲，不一会儿就挖好了一个坑。我把小树放进坑里一试，不够深，我又挖了几下，这下刚刚好。我高兴地大叫一声：“太好了!”我把小树轻轻地放了进去，又把四周的土小心地填平。有些同学土没填好，那个叔叔又叫他们重新填。

种好了树，我又去边上的水池里打水。一个又大又高的水桶加上沉沉的水，重得我叫苦连连。突然，我脚下一滑，差点摔倒，水溅了我一身。我把水桶提回去，到了小树那里，我把一大桶水倒了下去，给小树来了个“凉水澡”。最后，我在小树前面插上了牌子，写着我的姓名和班级。

我又高兴又骄傲，我居然会种树了。到了明年秋天，也许我就可以吃到我自己种的果实了。

7月22日，烈日炎炎，我们五一班和五二班的志愿者在先锋小学校门集合，然后乘坐大巴车去隆回县荷香桥飞小学，慰问从小失去父母、生活贫困的同龄小朋友——郑慧和欧阳广。

我们乘坐的汽车飞驰在高速公路上。我无心观赏车外风景。我静静地想着，自从去年7月离开他家，又是一年了。我一直牵挂思念他们：他们的房屋变好了吗？买了家具、电器了吗？到家的路修好没有？一连串的问题在我脑海里浮现。

经过3小时的车程，我们来到了郑慧家附近，我们下了车。

眼前仍然是那条长满杂草的又窄又弯曲的小路。我们小心的走着，拐了两个弯才来到郑慧家。她家的房子仍然是四十多年前的砖房，墙上到处是小洞，窗子没有玻璃，门也是坏的，郑慧的父母很早就去世了。她的爷爷奶奶，都是快七十岁的人了，而且体弱多病。她的爷爷奶奶白天下地种田、种菜、打柴，晚上养鸡喂牛，祖孙相依为命。即便是这样，郑慧依然过着快乐的生活，学习很自觉、按时完成作业，完成作业后，她还主动帮奶奶做家务，如洗碗、扫地、洗衣服。而我们呢，生活在城市里，住着漂亮的房子，走着平平的马路，过着衣来伸手饭来张口的好日子，很多人还抱怨这抱怨那，总说饭不好吃、菜不好吃。和她相比，我感到非常惭愧，郑慧从小没爸妈多可怜，多孤单，我们时刻有爸爸妈妈陪伴和关心，还能参加一些课外班，学唱歌，跳舞……我们多幸福呀，我送给郑慧一个600元的红包。她双手接着，深情望着我轻声地说：“谢谢。”

看过郑慧之后，我们要去看望欧阳广。我们坐大巴车到了树竹小学附近。在一个居民家里吃午饭。虽然饭菜十简单，但大家还是狼吞虎咽的吃着，每个人都很开心。吃过午饭后，我们走路来到树竹小学六一班教室：听欧阳广爷爷读感谢信，前面几句隆回话我听不懂，只听见在每句话的后面都会有谢谢二字。欧阳广的爷爷七十八岁了，满脸皱纹，黑黝的皮肤，在家里不休息的劳动，他是多么辛劳啊！

在不知不觉中，活动快结束了，同学们和欧阳广一家合影留念、捐款，我亲手送给他一个600元的红包。最后，我们挥手与欧阳广一家告别。大约七点半，我们回到了长沙。

通过这次活动，我再次体会到了：贫困山区的孩子的生活是十分不易的，我们的生活多么美好啊！所以，我们要珍惜现在美好的生活，要努力学习，争取做一个有用的人，将来为国家作出贡献！

日前，为纪念“向雷锋同志学习”53周年，由江阳区茜草街道学雷锋领导小组办公室主办的“学雷锋志愿服务月”活动正式启动。

本次活动以“弘扬雷锋精神”为主题，旨在大力弘扬“奉献、友爱、互助、进步”的志愿精神，牢固树立“学习雷锋、奉献他人、提升自己”的志愿服务理念。服务月活动期间，志愿者将开展“学雷锋主题宣传日”、“学雷锋创文明服务”、“学雷锋文化志愿服务”等系列主题宣传与实践活动，充分展示新时期学雷锋志愿服务工作的新成就、新风貌、新发展，营造全社会关心、支持和参与学雷锋志愿服务的良好氛围。

I think reading as the most rewarding entertainment activities in my spare time.

Not only does reading provide me with a wide range of knowledge, it also broaden my mind towards the world. Different sorts of books contain various thoughts of life, work, relationships and cultures. When reading a novel, I can experience joys and tears of the characters through one story after another. When it comes to a biography ,I can even speak to the great person as if he stood towards me. Don’t always regard reading as tools to prepare for exams or show off how knowledgeable the person is.

I spent this holiday very quick, on the 1st May, we went to the zoo, there were crowded there, so many travelers coming from all over the country to have some fun during the holidays.On 2nd May, i visited my relatives with my parents, we had a great lunch together, the resturant were crowded as well.On 3rd May, we went to shopping in the mall, after the shopping we went to watch a new movie. All the other days left I didn’t go anywhere, not only becasue I still had some homework, but also there were almost all crowded in everywhere

Last Saturday I joined a voluntary activity which was organized by the students union of our school. My classmates and I took a bus and went to the Animal Rescue Center in our city, where some stray dogs and cats are kept. As soon as we arrived, the workers told us how these animals were collected and what they did to help them. Then we were divided into small groups and helped them clean the cages. We were given some food to feed these animals.

I learned a lot from this activity. Animals need our care and attention, so we should devote our time to taking care of them.

来到约定的地点，小记者们去了樱花园，老师让我们4个人一个小组，来植树。

农民工给了我们一棵小树，让我们把他种在土里，坑已经帮我们挖好了，就等这我们去埋土了，周晴拿着小树把它固定住，我和那个男生挖土，添到洞里，可是铲子太重，我也没什么经验，所以，我一次性只能铲一点土。周晴说“我来吧”可是情况很不乐观。那个农民工看见啦，过来帮助我们，我仔细观察了他的动作，他先把铲子插在土里，然后用脚使劲跺在铲子上，之后我填的也不错，一会就填好啦，接着我拿出自己带的绳子记在小树上。我想做个记号，到名年的这个时候来看看自己亲手种下的苹果树。

Human Activity and the Earth

There is no doubt that human activity has an effect on the planet. We see the evidence of mankind’s endeavors all around us. While some of man’s accomplishments, such as the building of transportation systems and the consistent supply of potable water, have made Earth a better place for people to live, they have not come without cost. Overall, it seems that human activity harms the Earth more than it benefits it.

For example, the transportation systems that benefit mankind also create pollution and use up valuable energy resources. While we cannot do without transportation these days, we cannot ignore the fact that it has an adverse effect on the planet. Furthermore, those advances that benefit people do not benefit al the life on Earth. Deforestation endangers many animals, and mankind’s great thirst for water and other resources leads to the extinction of many plant forms. In addition, accomplishments such as the supply of potable water to a community are only response to problems that mankind created in the past. It was man that made the water unfit to drink in the first place. Finally, the damage that human activity causes will eventually have a negative effect on people. They will also suffer the effects of pollution and diminishing natural resources.

In conclusion, it seems apparent that man’s activity benefits primarily himself, not the Earth. Moreover, those benefits are only short-term advantages, and man will also suffer the negative effects of his activity in the future. The Earth does not have an inexhaustible supply of resources, so every effort should be made to conserve resources and limit the impact of human activity on the planet.

7月15日上午，我参加了居委组织的“，垃圾不落地”活动，成为了一名小小者。

八点半，我准时来到小区广场，参加活动。在活动名单上签了到后，我佩戴好者臂章，领取了垃圾夹和垃圾袋。在居委工作人员和一些家长的带领下，我们开始在小区内捡垃圾。

我们先从广场出发，很快我就在草丛里找到了几个香烟头，立刻用夹子夹了起来放进垃圾袋…接着，我们有在整个小区里活动。我们看见了垃圾，就立刻夹起来扔进袋子。经过每栋居民楼时，我们也会在门口检查，把居民扔在地上的广告纸夹起来扔进了废纸箱。这时，我又在地上看见了几块玻璃碎片，这可不能留着，万一被人踩到了，还可能刮破脚，可危险了！于是，我马上用夹子小心翼翼地将玻璃碎片一片一片夹起来，又小心地放进垃圾袋。然后，我继续在小区里找垃圾……
