So he lived by himself herding cattle and farming. One day, a fairy from heaven Zhi Nu (Weaver Maid) fell in love with him and came down secretly to earth and married him. The cowhand farmed in the field and the Weaver Maid wove at home. They lived a happy life and gave birth to a boy and a girl. Unfortunately, the God of Heaven soon found out the fact and ordered the Queen Mother of the Western Heavens to bring the Weaver Maid back.

With the help of celestial cattle, the Cowhand flew to heaven with his son and daughter. At the time when he was about to catch up with his wife, the Queen Mother took off one of her gold hairpins and made a stroke. One billowy river appeared in front of the Cowhand. The Cowhand and Weaver Maid were separated on the two banks forever and could only feel their tears. Their loyalty to love touched magpies, so tens of thousands of magpies came to build a bridge for the Cowhand and Weaver Maid to meet each other. 在我还是个孩子的时候，就养了一只叫做幸运的宠物。其实他是一只猫。他的毛很柔软，是黄色和白色。幸运的是一个好男孩。他总是很听话。我记得当我叔叔带他来到我家的时候，我很怕他。但不久后，我发现他很有趣。我开始和他玩。随着时间的推移，我们都互相非常喜欢对方。之后我叔叔就把他送给了我。我是如此的高兴。现在他总是在我做家庭作业的时候悄悄地躺在我的身边。冬天来了，他会跟我一起睡。有时他会为我跳舞，那是非常有趣的，有时他的爪子湿了就会在地面上留下许多“梅花”。他很可爱。
