今天我读了美国欧内斯特·海明威的名著《老人与海》。

这篇文章讲的是一位老人84天捕不到一条鱼，可是老人没有气馁。他下定决心出海去捕鱼，一开始出海只捕到一些小鱼，后来老人一夜没睡捕到了一条大鱼。可是在返回的路上遇到了鲨鱼，老人使出浑身解数与鲨鱼搏斗，鲨鱼把能吃的肉全吃完了。结果老人拖回去的只有一副鱼的骨架。

这篇文章告诉我们不要被困难压倒，尽自己最大的努力与生活中遇到的磨难做不屈不挠地斗争，我被老人的精神所打动。

“一个人并不是生来就要给打败的，你尽可以消灭他，却不能打败他。”这句话出自文学巨匠海明威先生的《老人与海》中，正是因为有这种不败的意志，才造就了老人两天两夜捕到一条长十八尺，重一千五百磅的马林鱼的成功之路。因为不败，所以永恒。

当这本书买到手的时候，我便迫不及待地开始阅读起来，尽情的感受着海明威先生所带给我们的人生真谛。文中的主人公桑迪亚哥不仅是一个渔夫，更是一个两鬓斑白的老人。在与恶劣环境和凶猛的鲨鱼的斗争中，老人一次次的告诉自己，鼓励自己，坚定自己的意志，不向困难妥协，向我们展示着那股不畏困难的硬汉气魄。在现实中，他虽然失败了，但在精神上，他却是胜利者，他那顽强搏击的精神，展示了人的高贵和尊严。书很快就读完了，但老人桑迪亚哥的精神却一直感染着我，为我前进的道路上点上了一盏明灯。

困难并不可怕，但要有信心和坚强的意志，在困难面前不妥协，一切都会迎刃而解。塞内加曾说过：“只要持续地努力，不懈地奋斗，就没有征服不了的东西。”老人在与困难斗争的过程中，大马林鱼一点点的被鲨鱼吃掉，但老人却没有放弃斗争，就算最后已经筋疲力尽了，却一直坚持，直至最后成功回到岸边。当我们遇到困难时，为什么不能像老人桑迪亚哥一样，勇敢的去面对呢?所以当我们遇到困难和不幸时，与其独自唉声叹气，不如鼓起勇气，像老人一样，用智慧和意志征服那看似坚不可摧的“鲨鱼”。

1999年的阿里巴巴创办者马云，对梦想从不放弃。他曾经想考重点小学，但却失败了;考重点中学也失败了;考大学更是考了三年才考上;想念哈佛大学也没有成功。但他有坚持不懈，勇往直前的精神，俗话说：“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。”他通过自已的努力，最终成功了。他说：梦想，要脚踏实地，和眼泪是息息相关的。马云在困难面前，没有放弃，尽管失败了很多次，最终却取得了意想不到的成功，可谓“许多次失败总会造就一次成功”。他如同老人桑迪亚哥一般，以常人所没有的刚毅的意志和胜利的信心，迎来了属于自己的辉煌。

遇到困难，总是一味地退缩，终将会被社会所淘汰。失败并不可怕，可怕的是没有斗争到底的决心。当你将一切困难踩在脚下时，站在人生的山顶上，回望脚下的困难，都将变得渺小。

老人最后虽然只得到了一副鱼的骨架，但是他却坚定了自己不败的决心;他那硬汉般的气魄，必将得到永恒!

今天，我读了期待已久的一本书——《老人与海》。

美国著名作家海明威的《老人与海》讲的是：一个名叫圣地亚哥的老渔夫，连续八十四天没有钓到一条鱼，被别人看作是一个失败者;然而他坚持不懈，在一次特殊的捕鱼过程中，他钓到了一条巨大的马林鱼，比他的船还长两米的一条大鱼!这是老人从没见过的一条大鱼，他没见过也没听说过!马林鱼力气太大，大鱼拖着小船在大海上漂泊了整整两天两夜。大鱼奋力挣扎，老人身衰力竭。可能一个不小心，大鱼就会带给他死亡的威胁。

但老人的意志却是无比坚定、无法被摧垮的。他并不向大鱼低头，而是凭着顽强的意志，和大鱼展开了不屈的抗争。经过三天漫长的搏斗，老人终于把马林鱼刺死，挂在船头。

然而，幸运并没有降临，更大的考验还在等待着筋疲力尽的的老人——那是一群嗅着血腥而来的鲨鱼，一群比大马林鱼更具有危险性的凶残的敌人!老人想尽一切办法与鲨鱼展开了殊死搏斗，但大马林鱼肉仍然被鲨鱼吃光了，最后老人拖回家的只有一副光秃秃的鱼骨架。

这样一个简单的故事，让我突然发现，感人至深并不一定需要曲折复杂的情节，简简单单也可以动人心弦。

读完这本书，只觉得老人是孤独的，却也是勇敢的。

有时，我为之所动容的，不是惊天动地的的感情，不是两肋插刀的兄弟之情，而是一个不屈的眼神或是百折不挠的精神。

我体会到了圣地亚哥的精神。他是令人佩服服的，可是却总是那么孤单。只有海，是一直陪着老人的，也许也只有海，可以让老人不再孤单。

《老人与海》告诉我们一个道理:“人并不是生来要被打败的，一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败”。生活就像大海一样无常，它总会不断给人考验，挑战我们的极限;在生活中，我们们要像圣地亚哥学习，怀揣不屈与坚毅，不与命运妥协，不向现实低头，做一个不怕困难、永不言败的人。即使我们弱小，但精神不垮。

在今年这个假期里，我读了一本好书——《老人与海》，这是美国著名作家海明威著作的，是他最具代表性的作品之一。

海明威全名欧内斯特·米勒尔·海明威，是20世纪最著名的小说家之一。作品中对人生、世界、社会都表现出了迷茫和彷徨。

《老人与海》也是一样的，他讲述了：一位以捕鱼为生的贫困的老人和小男孩，一连几个月都没有钓到一条鱼，小男孩只能从饭店借饭充饥。到第八十七天时，终于钓到了一条鱼，两人很高兴。但之后连续八十四天没钓到鱼，第八十五天时，老人终于钓到了一条鱼，但是鱼很大，老人与它打斗了三天，鱼终于被收服了。在回去的途中遭到了鲨鱼的袭击，老人又与鲨鱼展开了漫长激烈的争斗，最后大鱼只剩下了鱼头鱼尾和一条脊骨，老人只好带着剩余的残渣回去。

老人虽然没获得丰盛的收获，但是他的精神值得我们时时刻刻去学习，他的勇气值得我们每时每刻都敬佩。

老人并不是什么也没得到，其实他有一颗勇敢的心，获得了最后的胜利。

他并没有真正的消失，而是活在了每一个人的心中；他并没有真正的老，而是像书中的老人一样，永不衰老。

老人在遇到困难时不退缩、不胆怯、勇于拼搏，不向困难低头的精神，值得我们所有的人学习。

人生的道路也是坎坎坷坷，我们的学习生涯也会经常遇到一些困难和挫折，我们要学习老人那种面对困难敢于拼搏的精神，去面对现实生活和学习中遇到的种种困难。

让我们永远记住他吧！一位勇敢伟大的老人！

This is a story about a special and ueserved woman who has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. The story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit.

It seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with Jane Eyer. I am of no exception. As we refer to the movie “Jane Eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.

Jane Eyer was a born resister, whose parents went off when she was very young, and her aunt，the only relative she had，treated her as badly as a ragtag. Since Jane’s education in Lomon person, just the same as any other girl around. Jane did want to give him a hand, however, she made up her mind to leave, because she didn’t want to betray her own principles, because she was Jane Eyer. The film has finally got a symbolist end: Jane inherited a large number of legacies and finally returned. After finding Rochester’s misfortune brought by his original mad wife, Jane chose to stay with him forever.

I don’t know what others feel, but frankly speaking, I would rather regard the section that Jane began her teaching job in Thornfield as the film’s end----especially when I heard Jane’s words “Never in my life have I been awaken so happily.” For one thing, this ideal and brand-new beginning of life was what Jane had been imagining for long as a suffering person; for another, this should be what the audiences with my views hoped her to get. But the professional judgment of producing films reminded me to wait for a totally different result: There must be something wrong coming with the excellence----perhaps not only should another section be added to eich the story, but also we may see from the next transition of Jane’s life that “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you would get.” (By Forrest Gump’s mother, in the film “Forrest Gump”)

What’s more, this film didn’t end when Jane left Thornfield. For Jane Eyer herself, there should always be somewhere to realize her great ideal of being independent considering her fortitude, but for Rochester, how he can get salvation?

The film gives the answer tentatively: Jane eventually got back to Rochester. In fact, when Jane

met Rochester for the first time, she scared his horse and made his heel strained, to a certain extent, which meant Rochester would get retrieval because of Jane. We can consider Rochester’s experiences as that of religion meaning. The fire by his frantic wife was the punishment for the cynicism early in his life. After it, Rochester got the mercy of the God and the love of the woman whom he loved. Here we can say: human nature and divinity get united perfectly in order to let such a story accord with the requirements of both two sides. The value of this film may be due to its efforts to explore a new way for the development of humanism under the faith of religion.

Life is ceaselessly changing, but our living principles remain. Firmly persisting for the rights of being independent gives us enough confidence and courage, which is like the beacon over the capriccioso sea of life. In the world of the film, we have found the stories of ourselves, which makes us so concerned about the fate of the dramatis personae.

In this era of rapid social and technological change leading to increasing life complexity and psychological displacement, both physical and mental effects on us call for a balance. We are likely to find ourselves bogged down in the Sargasso Sea of information overload and living unconsciousness. It’s our spirit that makes the life meaningful.

Heart is the engine of body, brain is the resource of thought, and great films are the mirrors of life. In

dubitably, “Jane Eyer” is one of them.

Book Review: “Camille”

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

Last morning, when tiding my bookshelf, I took this book out of the shelf, and a dried flower flew away from the book. Suddenly, I remembered a saying: “Women are like the flowers”. Those pretty women are like those beautiful flowers; their delicate beauty makes people feel they are the miracle of life. However, even the God envies their beauty. It seems that beautiful women always have tragic endings. As we are normal persons, even we can see the hideousness of humanity that results in their fate of withering, we can at most ask quietly in our hearts: Where have those beautiful flowers gone? Where have they gone?

《老人与海》却是一本能让人了解，什么才是真正的人生，什么才是坚强的书。在现实生活中，我们会不断地受到挫折、失败还有许多负面的情绪，许多人因此而消极、失去对生活的热爱。而《老人与海》却刻画出一个与大海搏斗，在艰难的环境下，奋力生活的老渔夫。老人的渔船上那破旧的帆布，就像是一面失败的旗帜，仿佛在宣告着老人永远都捕不到鱼的倒霉运气。但是，他没有放下，仍然出海捕鱼。而在现实中，某些人却不能坚持，应对挫折就选取了放下，选取了逃避。和那已经生活窘迫的老渔夫相比，那些逃避的人真的是不明白什么才是挫折。我们可能会因为考试的失利，而对自我失去信心。或者因为别人的批评，而自暴自弃。在那时候，想想这个坚强的老渔夫，他是如何应对生活的。自我的心，自然就会释然许多。

我们的手没有老茧，皮肤没有晒出斑点，夏天在家里吹冷气，衣服是父母帮忙洗，每一天放学回家就有热腾腾的饭菜摆在桌上。我们实在是没有生活的压力，我们也真的没有受到过那些能够成为挫折的东西。我们的烦恼、挫折，只能说是少年时代的那小小的不满意而已。我们暂时还没有要为生活而奔劳，也就不明白生活的艰难。我们不了解，在社会中，有许多人像那个老渔夫一样，艰难的活着，他们从来没有放下过。那些农民工、修鞋匠、修车匠……都是在艰苦的环境下活着，他们是那么坚强，对生活充满了热爱。

无论是与书中那个老渔夫相比，还是在现实生活中与那些艰难生活的人相比，我们的生活已经是很好的了，我们更就应热爱生活，并且学会坚强的应对一切的困难与挫折。我相信，只要想起那个老渔夫，他的坚强和对生活的热爱，我们就也会学着坚强，热爱生活。

书中通过对老人与鲨鱼斗智斗勇的场面，描写细腻，引人入胜。作者从多个角度描绘了鲨鱼的凶狠狡猾。老人拼尽全力为了保住自己好不容易捕到的一条大马林鱼。充分体现出老人无畏精神。

每逢冬季，昆明的翠湖都会迎来大批迁徙的海鸥，这时候，老人也像赶赴约会似的，来到湖畔来呵护这些美丽的海鸟。十余年来，老人与海鸥和谐相处，结下了深厚的情谊。

这篇文章主要讲了老人生前喂食海鸥，呼唤海鸥的名字，与海鸥亲切地说话等事例;以及老人死后，海鸥在老人遗像前翻飞盘旋，肃立大声鸣叫的悲壮画面，表现了老人对海鸥的那份无私的爱，展示了海鸥对老人的那份令人震撼的情。

其中我印象最深的是这一句：“过了一会儿，海鸥们纷纷落地，竟在老人遗像前后站成了两行。它们肃立不动，像是为老人守灵的白翼天使。”“纷纷”说明这么多海鸥动作一致，似乎有谁在无声指挥。“站成了两行”“肃立不动”“白翼天使”写出了海鸥对老人的爱戴，尊敬，对老人的一片深情。这样的场面，我相信无论谁都会为之动容的！

多么善良的老人，多么纯洁的海鸥，彼此用真情共同谱写了一曲爱的赞歌，那份相知与相守、牵挂与依赖，让我们猛然醒悟，人与自然的和谐共处，原来是如此的美好！如此的动人！他无时无刻不再提醒大家，与大自然做朋友，珍爱生命，热爱生活！

【真正的勇士】

他说：“一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败。”我轻轻地合上书本，细细地咀嚼着这句话，内心犹如汹涌澎湃的大海，久久不能平静。

再品小说：在茫茫大海上，一个年迈的老人苦等八十四天无鱼上钩却仍然不放弃，这是一种坚持到底的相信;面对比自己渔船大数倍的大马林鱼不妥协，这是明知不可为而为之的勇气;面对为了抢食疯狂进攻的鲨鱼群毫不胆怯，奋起斗争，这是一种决不退缩、永不屈服的精神。小说中的老渔夫是精神世界里的强者，是真正的胜利者，是一个英雄!

回想起自己初学游泳时，我一直只敢在浅水区游，对于深水区不敢尝试，总是畏难而怯，没有信心和勇气去迎接挑战。对比《老人与海》中的老人，我惭愧不已，他的这种自信、自强的精神正是我所缺少的。困难和挫折每个人都会遇到，面对困难，我们要鼓起勇气，坚定信念，百折不挠。我想这就是这本书带给我们的启发意义。

这就是《老人与海》。老人没有被任何困难压服，他尽自己最大的努力与生活中的磨难做不屈不挠地斗争。他说：“一个人并不是生来就要给打败的，你可以消灭它，却不能打败它。”我们也要向他学习，因为这种永不言败的精神感动并激励着我们每一个人。

“人不是为失败而生的，一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败。”《老人与海》文中曾这样说到。人可能失败，但重要的是如何面对失败。失败后，要重新站起来，继续拼搏，为胜利而战。即使最终无法成功，但仍应该做一个毫不畏惧失败的英雄，至少我们可以说：“我们来到过，我们看到过，我们尝试过。”

《老人与海》这个故事讲的是一个捕鱼老人在八十四天之中没有捕到任何鱼，决定独自到远海去捕鱼。一条大马林鱼上钩了，可老人在短时间内无法征服它。但老人下了决心，奋力与大鱼斗争，直到它被绑在船边。在血腥味的吸引下，鲨鱼们一次又一次地向大马林鱼的尸体发起攻击，以至于老人的“战利品”最终只剩下一架骨骼。老人又重返家园，再一次梦见了狮子。

拼搏，老人朝着希望努力拼搏。

在宽广的海面上，痛苦一次又一次的来临，困难一次又一次的成为绊脚石。可老人退缩了吗?没有。他想过放弃吗?也许有，但在勇气与坚强信念的支持下，他还是坚持了下来。在困难面前，老人并没有屈服。老人是一个英雄，是一个战无不胜的巨人!

毅力，老人有着坚强的毅力。

他忍着剧痛，却依然在与大马林鱼作斗争，依然在完成自己的使命。毅力就是成功的保障，成功的路上不可能一帆风顺，也许困难重重，也许艰难险阻。但也不能阻挡一个有毅力的人的脚步。“困难像弹簧，你弱它就强，你强它就弱”有了毅力，就有了勇气;有了勇气，就有了克服困难的决心;有了决心，再大的困难也不成问题!

老人在神志不清时，毅力使他坚持了下来。与大马林鱼进行生死搏斗，与鲨鱼拼命抢夺，若没有坚强的毅力和坚定的决心怎能做得到呢?在拨开重重困难迷雾之时就会见到新的光辉，“不经历风雨，怎么见彩虹。”在经历磨难之后，才会变得更加坚毅，更加勇敢，才会看到新的希望。回首望去，才发现自己走过的路是多么坎坷，自己所做的事是多么不容易。并且会为自己感到骄傲，毫不后悔。看到自己留下的脚印，内心又是多么惊喜。老人看到大马林鱼的骨骼时也会有同感吧!

坚持，老人始终坚持，从未放弃。

“我奉陪你到死”这是老人对大马林鱼说的话。他下了决心，也会为这个决心负责。痛苦一次又一次来袭，老人感到自己快要不行了，可他仍然坚持，履行自己的诺言，甚至把自己的生死置之度外。老人可能在心中提醒自己：坚持，坚持就是胜利。当老人用尽最后一丝力量把大鱼束缚时，他长长出了一口气，是立刻感到身心疲惫呢?还是精神焕发，丢掉了所有痛苦，高兴得几乎跳跃呢?老人的感觉可能介于两者之间，因为他是一个有理想、有目标又有涵养的老人。

在诸多习爷爷读过的书里，有一本书令我记忆犹新，深深地打动了我，这本书就是海明威的《老人与海》。老人身上独有的优秀品质激励着我，鼓舞着我，让我争当新时代的好队员。

老人是坚毅的。他独自出海捕鱼，足足84天在海上辛勤地漂泊着，却没有捕到一条鱼，但他并没有轻言放弃，终于功夫不负有心人，他第二次出海时捕到了一条十八英尺大的又肥又厚的马林鱼。因为老人坚信，“人不是为失败而生的，一个人可以被毁灭，但不可以被打败。”每当我遇到数学难题的时候，我也常常想放弃，可是一想到《老人与海》中的老人，就立刻打起了精神，积极开动脑筋思考，常常豁然开朗。

老人是勇敢的。他想方设法地阻止鲨鱼吞噬马林鱼肉。他在船桨上绑了一根铁质的尖刀，再用打金枪鱼的棍子撑住鲨鱼的嘴巴，还用船柄狠狠地砸鲨鱼。就这样，他在茫茫大海中，凭借一己之力奋斗了三天三夜，虽然老人的船桨断了，手抽筋了，尖刀也沉入了海底，但是终于取得了优异的战绩，赶跑了鲨鱼群，并平安无事地拖着马林鱼骨架回到了港湾，令人刮目相看。每次在学习和生活中面临挑战的时候，我也应该学习老人不畏艰难的品质，勇敢地去尝试，积极地去应对，努力争取一个又一个成功。

老人是乐观的。海上形势凶险，有一次他在捕金枪鱼的时候，眼看着就要成功了，可惜突然左手抽了筋。他没有责怪自己在关键时候掉链子，而是风趣幽默地甩了甩手说：“手，你怎么在该工作的时候休息了呢？”正是这种自信而乐观的品质，鼓舞着老人勇往直前，在茫茫大海中搏斗着。每当我感到自责的时候，我也应该向老人学习，凡是往积极的一面去想，或许就可以克服困难。

读完这本有意义的书，我被老人的魅力所深深折服。细细品味这位不向命运低头的老人，他的精神是多么值得称赞啊！相信只要你用心去读，就会深深爱上这本书，并且受益匪浅。

The Scarlet Letter attained an immediate and lasting success because it addressed spiritual and moral issues from a uniquely American standpoint. In 1850, adultery was an extremely risqué subject, but because Hawthorne had the support of the New England literary establishment, it passed easily into the realm of appropriate reading. It has been said that this work represents the height of Hawthornes literary genius; dense with terse descriptions. It remains relevant for its philosophical and psychological depth, and continues to be read as a classic tale on a universal theme.[6] Another consideration to note having to do with the books popularity is that it was one of the first mass-produced books in America. Into the mid-nineteenth century, bookbinders of home-grown literature typically hand-made their books and sold them in small quantities. The first mechanized printing of "The Scarlet Letter," 2,500 volumes, sold out immediately, was widely read and discussed to an extent not much experienced in the young country up until that time. Copies of the first edition are often sought by collectors as rare books, and may fetch up to around $6,000 USD.

我小心翼翼地拿起笔，一笔一划地模仿着老师的样子在纸上认真涂抹。可画出的画却漏洞百出，我常常为自己画不好而懊恼。我开始觉得绘画实在太难，觉得自己无法坚持学习了。妈妈为了鼓励我，特意挑了一幅“好画”装裱起来，还喜滋滋地把它挂在家中最显眼的墙上，一有来人总不免大肆“炫耀”一番。在妈妈的糖衣炮弹下，我继续坚持着。

回首过去五年，每当我看到那幅“好画”，我觉得它既幼稚又可笑。回首过去五年，我的耳边总时时传来妈妈“精彩极了”的话语。回首过去五年，我一步一个脚印，在绘画这条道路上坚持前行，有眼泪，有汗水，更有收获。是坚持让我的绘画水平不断的提高，也是坚持让我享受着绘画的乐趣。在新年到来之际，老师又送给了我一份特殊的礼物——素描班的结业作品：一幅笔法精致栩栩如生的素描小狗。是乐观和坚持，它们这对密不可分的好朋友使我实现自己的目标，达成自己的愿望。

《老人与海》的主角圣地亚哥，虽然年迈，但在遇到重重困难时仍然保持乐观的精神，拥有着不同常人的坚定意志。

当他连续八十四天没有捕到鱼时，他放弃了吗？当他坚持了两天两夜才刺死的大鱼却引来了一大群鲨鱼围攻，他退缩了吗？当奋力反抗但还是抵挡不住鲨鱼的攻击，最终大鱼仅剩下白白的鱼骨，他绝望了吗？显然没有。如果没有乐观的精神，他恐怕也没有信心和勇气再次出海，继续他的捕鱼生活。从老人身上，我们看到的是积极乐观的心态和坚持不懈的意志。

而我呢？我的身边总有个小人在呐喊：“算了，算了，这这样吧。”“不学了，不学了，太累了。”“反正我就是做不好。”是谁驱散了这些黑暗？是谁助我战胜了自己？

高尔基曾说：“如果怀着愉快的心情谈起悲伤的事情，悲伤就会烟消云散。”每当遇到困难时，妈妈总是用幽默的故事来开导我，用诙谐的语言来鼓励我，当我破涕为笑时，眼前的困难都变小了，这大概也是一种乐观心态的养成。做自己的主人吧，乐观和坚持会是你最大的武器！

一个平凡的大海，一个平凡的老人，一个简单的故事，却给我们一个深刻印象，告诉我们一个深刻的道理。

老渔夫桑地亚年轻时是一位出色的渔夫，到了老年他的精力和反应都远不如以前。妻子死后，他一个人孤单的生活在海边，只有一个小孩亲近他，崇拜他。他已经一连八十四天没有打到鱼了，对于一个渔夫来说这是一个耻辱。但在第八十五天他依然顽强的出海打鱼。这一次，他碰上了一条足有十八英尺长的大鱼，这条鱼激起了老渔夫挑战它的决心。老人与大鱼奋战了两个昼夜，在这个过程中他不断和鱼，和鸟，和大海对话。凭借自己顽强的毅力和坚定的信念，他终于挺了过去，征服了庞大的鱼，但在回来的路上，一大批鲨鱼被吸引过来，老渔夫吃力的与鲨鱼搏斗，但干枯的精力无法阻挡鲨鱼猛烈的进攻。鲨鱼把大鱼吃了，那条大鱼变成了一副空空的骨架，最后，老渔夫把巨大的骨架拖回了岸上。

在老人无力的时候，小孩是老人唯一的亮点，因为这一亮点，老人找回了自我。老人失败了，但，也成功了。他战胜了自身、大鱼，但也输给了鲨鱼。晚上，老人睡着了，小孩在他身边守护着他。那一晚，老人梦见了雄狮，那是力量的象征。

看完这本书，我的心久久不能平静，这位平凡而又可敬的老人，使我深深懂得了：做人不应该被任何困难所吓倒，我们应该尽我们最大的努力与生活中的磨难，做不屈不挠的斗争。

以前的我一遇到困难，往往先畏缩，没有人鼓励，引导，就会失去自我。读完《老人与海》以后，他顽强的毅力，坚定的信念影响了我。今后的我不管遇到什么困难，总会迎难而上，坚持到底。

自信，顽强，坚定，永不言败，这就是老人教给我的.，人可以被打倒，但不能被打败。

一个人经历了磨难和坎坷之后他就会变得更加强大。

强者只会更强，正如海明威在20世纪所著的《老人与海》海明威笔下的主人公桑地亚哥这位背负命运的老人，在海上遇困难并存的经过，最终在海上失去的结局。

“世界上最快乐的事情，就是为了理想而奋斗”而《老人与海》里就有这么一部分，桑地亚哥连续84天没有捕到鱼，第85天出海，经过三天两夜的搏斗，捕获了一条五百多磅的大马林鱼，但最终大马林鱼被吃掉了，桑地亚哥还是活着回来了。桑地亚哥活着回来了，而他所捕获的大马林鱼却被吃了，可想而知，他到底经历了什么!而然，就像我现在有的同学，在生活和学习上和思想上受到一点挫折活着就是因学校的办学条件差，或找老师或整天沉浸在那一点小小的挫折当中去，那毫无疑问他就是一个最失败的人德当中的一个，他一味地选择逃避，想找一个避风的港湾，而然，这就是现实问题，如果选择了逃避，就永远也解决不了这个小小的问题。所以他只能用嘎巴你的面对现实。

“可是一个人并不是生来要给打败的”他说“你尽可吧他消灭，可就是打不败他。”这是桑地亚哥说过令我感触最深的一句话。为什么这么说呢?因为这句话让我明白了生活如同大海，有风平浪静，也会有海浪，更会有海啸!我不能奢求生活一帆风顺，但是，巅峰浪也不能成为我们生活中追求理想的一个障碍物。毕竟，现实生活中有太多活生生的案例，当今的亚洲首富马云亦如此，他曾三次迎战高考，前两次都因数学成绩太低以失败告终，当面对这种小挫折在它看来毫不放在眼里，再次迎战高考以超常发挥的水平，数学分数超过平常所有考试的分数，在平常人看来那点分数算不了什么，但是对于马云来说是一次巨大的转折，就因为他有这样的能去面对挫折，并战胜的挫折的精神，单凭这些就足以让他成为一个成功的人，记得一句话：“当死神露出尖牙对我们微笑时，我们能做的就是报以一笑!”正如桑地亚哥老人面对勇猛的恶鱼他毫不畏惧，给恶鱼报之以一笑。是的，当我们在生活中面对各种各样的困难与挫折时，也应该要像桑地亚哥老人一样毫不畏惧，要胜得坦荡，把挫折当成垫脚石一样勇敢踏过去，给挫折报以一笑!

“老头儿现在头脑是清醒的，正常的，他有坚强的决心，但是并不抱多大的希望。”是的，至少这种危急的时候桑地亚哥老人的头脑是清醒的、正常的，他有坚强的决心跟恶鱼战斗。“长不高”的足球场上的巨人—梅西，他从小与其他的孩子比起来个头比较小，后被诊断出发育荷尔蒙缺乏，而这会阻碍他的生长，之后开始治疗，他每天会给自己打一针生长激素，他没有抱怨，就这样适应了这种生活，就在2007年时，一直做替补席的他一脚提出了今天的成就。他的成功，除了天赋以外，更多的是靠个人的努力和敢于直面艰难的精神，人的一生会遭遇许许多多的艰难险阻、逆境困难，只有像桑地亚哥老人一样勇敢面对挫折才是你的选择。

如果人生少了挫折这道风景线，人生就会黯然失色，而《老人与海》的主人公桑地亚哥，一位经历沧桑的老人面对以此次来袭的凶猛恶鱼，从开始没有了鱼叉、到用折断了的刀子、再到用双手，他完全没有怯场。我们在一次次考试的面前就应该像桑地亚哥老人面对一次次来袭的恶鱼一样，以不服输的精神面对考试。

---Book Review: “Camille”

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. When I first began to read the book, I did not care for Marguerite or her attitude or lifestyle, but as I got further into the narrative, I realized that her saucy attitude was a front to cover the lonely woman that she really was. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

“一个人可以被毁灭，却不能被打败”，每当我遇到困难时，这句话总会浮现在我的脑海，给予我继续前进的勇气。这个叫桑提亚哥的老人深深地震撼了我，他在连续8天没捕到鱼的情况下，坚持着自己的信念，终于独自钓上了一条大马林鱼，但这条鱼实在大，老人用他的小帆船在海上拖了3天才把鱼杀死，绑在小船的一边。但在归程中这条大马林鱼一再遭到鲨鱼的袭击，最后回港时只剩下鱼头鱼尾和一条鱼骨。

老人桑提亚哥，尽管一开头就处于不利地位——8天没捕到鱼，认为“倒了血霉”，而且别的渔夫把他看作失败者。然而他的英勇正在于知其不可为而为之，老人明知对方力量比他强，还是决心战斗到底，尽管结果鱼肉都被鲨鱼咬去了，但什么也无法摧残他的英勇意志。

老人在第一条鲨鱼咬去了大约磅肉后想：“不过，人不是为失败而生的，一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败。”这句话道出了本书的主题。从这方面来看，本书并不是什么寓言，而是一部现实主义的力作。老人在重压下仍能保持优雅的风度，他是他一个精神上不可战胜的硬汉子！他是明知要失败而不怕失败的英雄！他的不被失败压倒的顽强搏斗，正昭示了人类那不可摧残的精神力量。它是人的不可战胜的精神力量的化身。

在生活中的我们，又何尝不是。当被巨大的挫折接连不断的打击时；当那蜂拥而来的灾难来临时；当你那饱受摧残的心已无力抵抗时，你可以来学习一下这位老人，一位硬汉的人生，一种奋斗的人生观。作为销售，我们需要学习这样的人生观，面对困难，需要有无畏的一种精神，绝对不能被打败！

This year summer vacation, I read the American well-known writer Hemingways novel " old person and sea ". I extremely admire in the novel the senior fishermans will, he let me understand one person certainly must have relentless spirit, only then could obtain successfully.

We also must study senior fishermans spirit in life, handles the matter does not fear the difficulty, only then can obtain successfully.

The novel eulogized the spirit which the senior fisherman fear hard and dangerous diligently did not struggle, we also should like his such, could not satisfy the present situation, should positively to above, do any matter all is relentless, meets difficultly must welcome difficultly above, could give up halfway in no way. Only has this, we only then can obtain a bigger success and the victory.

今年暑假,我读了美国著名作家海明威的小说“老人与海”。我非常佩服小说中高级的渔夫的意志,他让我明白一个人一定要有不屈不挠的精神,才可能获得成功。

这部小说描述一年近六十岁的高级渔夫,当独自一人去海上钓鱼,钓一条大鱼,其实没有拉。高级的渔夫社会化几天后鱼,才发现这是超过了自己的大马林鱼渔船几折,虽然知道很难取胜,但仍不放弃。后来又因大马林鱼伤口在几个成群的鲨鱼鱼鱼鱼腥味带来一阵食物,但老人还是不希望这样放弃,最终突出环绕,返回到大鱼带渔港,让其他渔夫不钦佩了。

小说歌颂高级的渔夫的精神恐惧艰难和危险的努力没有斗争,我们也应该像他这样,不能满足于现状,应该积极,做任何事都是无情的,遇到困难必须欢迎以上困难,绝不中途放弃。只有这样,我们才可以获得更大的成功和胜利。
