As cheesy, predictable horror flicks go, "Anaconda" squeezes considerable life from its limited aspirations.

One day when Darcy and Bingley’s two sisters disgusted with the vulgarity of Mrs. Bennet and her two youngest daughters, effectively separated Bingley and Jane. Meanwhile, Collins, a cousin of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, married charlotte, a friend of Elizabeth’s, for Elizabeth’s refuse to marry him. But One day Darcy send Elizabeth a letter, in which he justifies the separation of his friend Bingley and Jane and make it clear that Wickham is. So Elizabeth changed her opinions and ideas toward him. 我一直想有一本《老人与海》书，今天终于如愿以偿了。老人与海是一个叫海明威的美国作家写的。我也非常欣赏他的作品，我读完了老人与海，感受到了老人非常孤独。

我先来给大家讲讲老人的故事吧!老人是桑地亚哥，小男孩是马诺林。桑地亚哥连续八十四天都是空手而归，老人桑地亚哥丝毫没有气馁，他相信，明天就能捕到一条大鱼。果然，在第八十五天，他如愿以偿地捕到一条比他船还要大的金枪鱼，然而，被插伤的大鱼留下了血迹却引来了鲨鱼。老人的希望一点一滴地被鲨鱼吞食，但是这样并没有令他倒下。他忍着身体的剧痛，顽强地与鲨鱼拼搏，哪怕最后只剩下一副大鱼的骨架。

“一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败”，这是桑地亚哥的信念。

我细细品味着书中的营养，我总结出一个信念：只要相信自己，就一定能成功!

上周三，我听了夏老师的一节语文课，深受触动。课堂开头伴随着音乐流淌，一张张人与动物的和谐画面闪现，巧妙地把学生带入到人与自然和谐相处、互相关爱的情境中去。本课的主题“爱”也在此时埋下伏笔。

课文以老人对海鸥的爱还有海鸥对老人那种难以言表的爱为主线，慢慢、而精细地表现出本课的主题“爱”。其中，给我印象最深的不是老师那巧妙的引导、启发，而是音乐响起的那一刻，学生在这音乐声中读出了老人

的羸弱、以及心底的悲伤，更读出了海鸥对老人的不舍与思念！也就在这时，我的眼泪悄然落下，抑制不住的泪水润湿了我的面庞。

To Regain the Nature of Goodness

—— Review of ‘Oliver Twist

Oliver Twist, one of the most famous works of Charles Dickens, is a novel reflecting the tragic fact of the life in Britain in 18th century.

The author who himself was born in a poor family wrote this novel in his twenties with a view to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London.

The hero of this novel was Oliver Twist, an orphan, who was thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. He suffered enormous pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse. While reading the tragic experiences of the little Oliver, I was shocked by his sufferings. I felt for the poor boy, but at the same time I detested the evil Fagin and the brutal Bill. To my relief, as was written in all the best stories, the goodness eventually conquered devil and Oliver lived a happy life in the end. One of the plots that attracted me most is that after the theft, little Oliver was allowed to recover in the kind care of Mrs. Maylie and Rose and began a new life. He went for walks with them, or Rose read to him, and he worked hard at his lessons. He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty.

How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. Although I dont think goodness is omnipotent, yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

For me, the nature of goodness is one of the most necessary character for a person. Goodness is to humans what water is to fish. He who is without goodness is an utterly worthless person. On the contrary, as the famous saying goes, ‘The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose, he who is with goodness undoubtedly is a happy and useful person. People receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done, and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.

To my disappointment, nowadays some people seem to doubt the existence of the goodness in humanity. They look down on peoples honesty and kindness, thinking it foolish of people to be warm-hearted. As a result, they show no sympathy to those who are in trouble and seldom offer to help others. On the other hand, they attach importance to money and benefit. In their opinion, money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility. If they cannot get profit from showing their ‘kindness, they draw back when others are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down. They are one of the sorts that I really detest.

Francis Bacon said in his essay, ‘Goodness, of all virtues and dignities of the mind, is the greatest, being the character of the Deity, and without it, man is a busy, mischievous, wretched thing, no better than a kind of vermin.

That is to say a person without goodness is destined to lose everything. Therefore, I, a kind person, want to tell those vermin-to-be to learn from the kind Oliver and regain the nature of goodness.

《老人与海》这本书的封面是深蓝色的，上面画着一片宽无边际的大海，海面上漂着一艘孤零零的小船，小船里坐着一个戴着帽子的老人，只有一轮皎洁的明月挂在深蓝的天空中，与老人作伴。那究竟会发生什么事呢，就让我们来看一看吧!

《老人与海》这本书讲的是，有一位老人驾驶者自己的小船，在出海打鱼的路上，他遇到了一条非常大的鱼。老人就跟着这条鱼，已经过了一天一夜了，大鱼还是没有停下来，但是老人已经下定了决心想：我一定要把这条鱼钓上来，让不服气的那些人看看，一定要让他们心服口服才行。就这样，最后大鱼终于被老人钓上来了。老人就开始返航，在回去的路上，他遇到了很多的的鲨鱼，把那条大鱼吃的只剩下一点了。还好，没等吃完，老人就从海上回来了，岸上的渔夫，看到老人打到了如此大的一条鱼，都为老人喝彩，老人心里高兴极了。

我读了这本书后，明白了一个道理：我们要学习老人身上坚持不懈的精神，有了这种精神，才能干好一切事情!

在春节来临之前，我一直都在看这样的一本书，它能让人变得更坚强，更勇敢，它的名字就叫《老人与海》。

这本书里说的是从前有一位老人，靠打鱼为生。但是已经八十四天了，他什么也没有捕到，连一条拇指大的小鱼都没有钓到。直到有一天，他突然钓到了一条大鱼，可是在返回家的路上，他遇到了成群的鲨鱼。老人使出浑身解数和凶恶的鲨鱼搏斗，鲨鱼把大鱼身上所有能吃的肉全都吃光了。结果老人拖回去的只是一副大鱼的骨架。

这就是《老人与海》。老人没有被任何困难压服，他尽自己最大的努力与生活中的磨难做不屈不挠地斗争。他说：“一个人并不是生来就要给打败的，你可以消灭它，却不能打败它。”我们也要向他学习，因为这种永不言败的精神感动并激励着我们每一个人。

轻舟一片，在一望无际的大海边缘，一位白发苍苍的老人孤独的身影置身于小轻舟中。这个平凡的老人，就是世界名著《老人与海》的主角。圣地亚哥老人给我的第一眼印象就是“他消瘦憔悴，在勃颈上有很深的皱纹。在腮帮上还有许多的黑斑。”但是，在我读完《老人与海》之后，我不觉得他在是一个平凡的老人了。

圣地亚哥老人，以捕鱼为生，却有一次84天没有捕到任何一条鱼，但是，饥肠辘辘的老人并没有放弃。他凭着自己坚定的信念与高超的技术，在一无所获的84天后，终于钓到了一只巨大无比的马林鱼。老人的船拖着马林鱼，走了很远很远，漂泊了两天两夜，经历了前所未有的奇妙经历。他奋力一搏，刺死了马林鱼，拴在船上，却不料遇到了一头饥饿的鲨鱼，鲨鱼把马林鱼给吃了，留给老人的只有鱼骨……

作者为什么要让老人失败，按书中老人曾经说过的一句话“一个人并不是生来就被打败的，人尽可以被毁灭，却不能被打败。”我想这就是作者想要告诉我们的吧。其实在读书的同时，我更是感受到了什么叫做幸福。一个人在做什么事情的时候，并非到了最后成功的时刻才是幸福。其实有些幸福就藏于追求之中。在老人身上我们发现了一种敢于追求梦想，敢于面对挫折的勇气。这是我们值得学习的。

今天，我满怀激动地看完了一本书——《老人与海》，它使我深受教育。

这本书生动形象地勾勒出了一个硬汉的形象：桑提亚哥是一个风烛残年的渔夫，他一连二个月都没钓到鱼，可他并没有就此放弃，终于在第八十五天的时候，他钓上来一条大马林鱼。然而这时却遇上了鲨鱼，老人与鲨鱼进行了殊死搏斗，结果拖回家的只剩下一副鱼骨。老人虽然失败了，但他在与鲨鱼斗争的过程中表现出了超常的毅力和勇气，表现了一种不可被征服的精神上的胜利。

“一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败”，老人最后说的这句话富含哲理。就如音乐大师贝多芬所说：“我可以被摧毁，但我不能被征服。”只要是人就都会有缺陷。当一个人承认了这个缺陷并努力去战胜它而不去屈从它，这才是人的本性。人生本来就是一种无止境的追求。它的道路漫长、艰难，而且充满坎坷，但只要自己勇敢顽强地以一颗自信的心去迎接挑战，他将永远是一个胜利者!想想我以前的做事态度，再看看老人的做事态度，我感到十分羞愧。

我的英语学的不是很好，正是缺乏老人坚持不懈的精神。老师让我们每天听十分钟磁带，每天晚上学习半小时，周末学习1小时，可这些我都没有做到!每每试卷发下来时，看见班中各位状元的成绩时，心里就像吃了个大酸杏。可我并没有花时间去钻研它，只是自叹不如，订正过后就把它抛到九霄云外去了。现在想想，如果我那时能坚持按照老师说得做，就不会学得这么差了。

生活中，我们总会遇到种种困难挫折，正因为有像老人一样的人，敢于向困难挑战，不管他们挑战限度是成功还是失败，都是值得我们永远敬重的。因为，他们带给我们的是人类最高高贵的自信!

在这个寒假里我读了许多本书，《一千零一夜》等，其中有一本令我难以忘怀，这本书的名字叫《老人与海》。

《老人与海》讲古巴老渔夫圣地亚哥在连续八十天没捕到鱼的情况下，终于独自钓上了一条大马林鱼，但这鱼太大，把他的小船在海上拖了三天才筋疲力尽，被他杀死了绑在小船的一边，在归程中一再遭到鲨鱼的袭击，最后回港时只剩下鱼头鱼尾和一条鱼骨头。

看来《老人与海》的主人公以顽强的毅力，想方设法，永不气馁，最终战胜鲨鱼的袭击，他依靠的就是坚定的信心。因此，如果你做任何事，不管有多少困难，只要有了坚定的信心，就成功了一半。有一次我没考试好，我不放弃坚持复习，多看书，在下一次考试中我取得一个好成绩。

故事告诉我们，在人生的长河中，不管会遇到多少艰难险阻，风风雨雨，都要以坚定的信念，顽强的意志，坚持到底、永不言弃、永不退缩的精神面对一切，我们就能赢得最终的胜利！
