看着这成熟的芦稷，我忍不住咽了咽口水，奔过去，抓住一根芦稷，使出九牛二虎之力使劲拔，可它还是纹丝不动，我傻眼了，这是为什么呢？低头一看，好家伙！在芦稷杆的下端，离地尺把高的关节处，向下长着许多气根，有点像榕树的根，用手摸摸，是那么坚韧，像鹰爪一样，它们强有力的抓住土地，仿佛擒拿住一个庞大的活物。戴着草帽，系着蓝布围裙的奶奶拿着菜刀赶了过来，疼爱地望望我，嗔怪道：“你这个小馋猫！”说话间，她手起刀落，一根芦稷便乖乖地躺在了地上。

奶奶从地上捡起芦稷，娴熟地削去嫩梢，掀去绿叶，剁成一节一节的，撕去外皮，芦稷便成了一根天然的“棒棒糖”。透过晶莹剔透的绿色，其中夹的红芯若隐若现。我咬上一口，脆生生的、甜津津的汁液溢了满嘴，真是解渴。有时不小心，锋利的外皮会把手割破，但那微微的痛会被浓浓的甜掩盖了，竟毫不察觉。
