我的家乡是连云港，这儿山青水秀，物产丰富，是镶嵌在黄海之滨的一颗璀璨明珠。“小时候，妈妈对我讲，大海就是我故乡，海边出生，海里成长……”大海，令我陶醉的地方。每当唱起这首歌，我就仿佛来到了美丽的苏马湾。站在金灿灿的沙滩上，翘首遥望，那朵朵浪花，如同在风中摇曳的小海菊，轻轻地舞蹈;又好像是一群身穿白裙子的小姑娘，追逐着、打闹着，发出一阵又一阵“哗啦，哗啦”如银铃一般动听的“笑声”。每天当红日冉冉升起，给海面镀上一层金色的花边时，渔民们便在这欢笑声中出海了，开始了他们一天新的生活。他们满怀信心地撒下渔网，傍晚，当暮色渐渐收起最后一缕霞光时，忙碌了一天的渔民们便满载着蹦蹦跳跳的鱼虾喜悦归来……

一切都是那么地令人心旷神怡。我们港城不仅“海美“，山也高耸入云，千姿百态，有的还有着了不起的革命历史。抗日山便是其中最为著名的一座。当年，我们港城的革命前辈在战斗的炮火与滚滚硝烟中，一面奋勇抗日，一面筑起此山，纪念那些在为家乡的解放而长眠于此的先烈们。抗日山因此也被誉为一座革命的山、英雄的山。如今，抗日山已被列入全国爱国主义教育基地，每年清明时节，有许多许多人来此敬献鲜花，缅怀先烈、寄托哀思、展望未来。更值得夸赞的是，我们的港城近年来的各项建设也发生了天翻覆地的变化，以前茫茫的盐碱地变成了排排整齐厂房，低矮泥泞的小路变成了平坦开阔的大道，还有新近一座座拔地而起的高楼大厦……

我们的港城正大步奔向美好生活的康庄大道。作为一名港城人，我要好好学习，成为国家栋梁之才，为港城家乡建设出份力，让大家看到一个更加美丽富饶的新时代港城!

Shanghai is the biggest city which lies on the east coast of China. It’s on the River Chang Jiang, too. It’s older, bigger and busier than Dalian. The buildings are taller and population is over twice larger than that of Dalian-13 million. The weather there is neither too hot nor too cold. Lots of places of interest attract visitors from other countries all the year round. I would like to work there to make more money when I grow up. It’s one of the largest trade centers in the world.
