join your expedition team. It sounded as if it might be fun so Im writing to

say Id like to come along.

About myself: I left school at 16 because I wanted to earn a bit of money.

After that I got a few part-time jobs as a waiter, etc. But I didnt stick to

any of them for long. Recently Ive been doing a bit of hitch-hiking round

Europe so Ive had some experience of traveling the hard way which should come

in handy on the expedition youre planning. By the way, Im a great guitarist so

There was once an old goat that was very, very old; he could barely walk,

and was always sleepy during important emergencies. One day the goat went off to

eat grass among the fields.

During the time, the goat did not realize that the goat pack had gone

straight in front of him. He had no choice but to continue straight on. As soon

as he passed the hill, he found the goat pack had already crossed three other

mountains… The old goat was tired of climbing and walking, so he decided to

rest. After a short break, he was sure that the goat pack had already wiped him

away far back behind.

The goat decided to find a place to be made a shelter for him to sleep

tonight. Along the way, the old goat walked along; he trembled along the way. At

last, he found a big round cave for him to sleep in, so that he could rest his

energy and continue his journey…

The old goat didn’t even realize that this was home to the lion, king of

all animals. As soon as he approached the mouth of the cave, the lion smelled

the goat out with his nose. The lion shouted, “Who are you that dare come to my

house? I am going to destroy you, and eat you up for breakfast!!!!” the old goat

was frightened out of his wits, he wanted to run, but knew that he was not fast

enough. He closed his mouth and held his breathe, and pretended not to be

frightened or afraid.

He walked inside the cave and saw the terrifying lion king. The lion never

saw this kind of thing before, he was frightened now; and asked, “Why are you

here? And who are you? And…” Before he could even finish his speech, the g oat

answered; “I am the goat empress, and I have come to see you…” “See me?” asked

the lion, “Yes,” replied the goat ‘empress’; “I can live no much longer, and

even walking; but, before I die, I want to eat: 100 elephants, 75 wild oxen, 63

wild pigs, and 25 lions. Now I had already had: Elephants, wild oxen, and wild

pigs; I am looking for a lion to eat now!” the lion was so frightened.

“You know what empress, I am too dirty, and I should probably wash up

before you…You know, Gulp! Eat me up!” as he said those words, he backed up

towards the mouth of the cave, and rushed out immediately with his back legs

between his jaws…

Along the way, he bumped into a jackal, the jackal asked; “Hey, I am the

cranky jackal dear king; and what has gotten you in such a fright?” the lion

took a breath and answered, “There was a goat ‘empress’ in my cave that wants to

eat me!” “The goat empress? I never heard of such a thing!”

The lion replied, “Then come with me to the cave… Gulp!”

And so the lion led the jackal to his cave, the goat ‘empress’ saw them

coming, and answered; “Jackal, what do you think you’re doing? I asked you to

bring me 25 lions, but you just brought me one! I’m going to eat you both up for

breakfast!” the lion trembled and shouted at the jackal, “Jackal, you tricked me

into this trap?! How dare!”

At these words the jackal ran away, and the lion ran to a place far, far

away…

我随着电视镜头，看到了你们的学校，那里是一间间破旧的房子，一张张用泥土堆起来的桌子，一把把破椅子；那里没有电灯，没有书本，也没有粉笔。这样的教学设备真是无法想象。我看到了学习中的你们，有的人书写的笔只剩下大拇指指头那么长了，还在捏着写；有的人背上的书包竟是家里的破衣服改成的，已经看不出原来的花色；有的人上学穿的衣服大小不合适，寒冷的天气里，竟还是一件单衣，已经冻得抖抖索索了；有的人……你们在那么艰苦的条件下还坚持学习，真令我们敬佩。

I like rabbits. They are cute and beautiful. Their eyes are red and their tails are short. They like eating carrots and vegetables . I have one at home . It is in a small cage. I often play with it when I am free? ， but it does not listen to me . It looks unhappy . I think it doesn’t like living in the small cage . I think I will take it out to the field tomorrow. I will open the cage and let it run and jump in the open air freely.

I have many reports that I need to tell you guys, and it is about love. I

know that some of you hate this word and think that it was some of my mean

tricks again, but I just want to tell you that this was no joke, because I had

put my heart on this report.

It was the summer, and I was just doing my homework as usual holidays; I

was actually having a very good time and what was being told of me, and I went

down stairs to get a snack. When I saw this cool girl named Marinette, she was

cool; and I just wanted to talk to her. I didn’t actually have a crush on her; I

just really liked the way that she looks. I just went outside and stopped to

say, “Hi,” she said HI back, and I was actually astonished to see her quite

surprised; she looked like she had a very good surprise that she was having at.

I looked all the way through this and saw no such thing; I shook my head, and

went inside.

After I had finished lunch I went down stairs t get my bag and get ready

for school. When I got into my seat, I started to think that something strange

is up with Marinette; it was actually not quite astonishing to hear this; but it

was actually what I was hoping for, I started to jump up, and rushing to the

bathroom. I scolded some people on the way, and Plad came out of my pocket, you

know the flying cat: What’s your problem; maybe you have a crush on her; “No, of

course not.”

I blushed, and was waiting to transform to figure what was up. I figured

that some people didn’t want somebody rummaging around somebody, and so I

transformed back, and went to class.

I sat on my seat quietly until the school bell rang like the signal that it

was time to go home. I started to have a low voice, and I actually even began to

learn swimming. It was very strange that somebody could learn that, but many

people do have that kind of habit.

I started rummaging around my room, and found some cool diaries from so

long ago; I checked on them and went to bed, and thought all about love for the

next few hours until I fell asleep. It was kind of cool, but I prefer it that

way since I didn’t even know that it was time to be reflected by your personal

self.

I’m really miss you , we can’t see about three months . Are you ok? I hope

We have eight classes everyday , and only two classes are not english ,

another classes is listening , reading , speaking and writing english . Some

people think it is boring in the classes , but i think this is very enjoyable

In the morning, the dream slipped away in the sound of firecrackers outside the

window. It is another year of celebration, unity of mind, and family reunion

day, my mother and I also like the past year back to mother-in-laws home.

My mother-in-laws home is not far from Nanjing in the center of the

county. Let me tell you! The spring festival atmosphere in my mother-in-laws

house is very lively. My mother-in-law opened it in the kitchen a few days ago.

She cooked pickles, fried assorted dishes and made dumplings. It seems like Im

going to finish all the food of the year on this day. The kitchen was smoky and

my mother-in-law was like an old fairy in protective clothing. What about

father-in-law? Its his specialty to create a new years atmosphere. You see,

early in the morning, he was also busy in a pile of red couplets, looking for

double-sided stickers, cleaning the door, and being waved around by his

mother-in-law. On such a cold day, sweat glistened on the bald head with few

hairs. Every year, a clean mother would take a bath before lunch, and she was

also known as getting rid of the old and welcoming the new year, washing away

Whats friends? Do you have friends? I have many friends, so I always feel

happy. In the morning, some of my friends will go to school with me. We often

talk and laugh on the way to school. Sometimes we will stop to buy some snacks,

school things and other stuff. When I am in school, I always study with friends.

When I have something confusion, I will ask them to help. So do they. We help

each other. After class, we play together, and go to the shop to buy snacks.

They accompany me, so do I. I think this is friends.

When the summer holiday came， my cousin and I went to Huamei International

Schooland joined the English and Art Camp.

The camp lasted for three weeks. We had many interesting activities. I

enjoyed them so much， and I was always happy.

I made more new friends there too. I like studying and playing with them

very much and I think they were very friendly.

Our classroom， bedroom and canteen were all very comfortable. They are not

only bright， but also tidy and clean. The food in the canteen was also very

delicious and healthy. I enjoyed the school food a lot. The teachers loved us

very much and they took good care of us.

I like the life in Huamei International School.

We all like to make friends, because no one can survive without a friend.

If you ask someone how many friends do they have, most will answer a lot.

Indeed, we make friends in different stage, even we are old, we still make

friends. But not all friends are as honest as they are, some friends we made

since we are young, some are just meet a couple of times and we don’t know much

about them. The former are real friends, while the latter are not true friends.

What is the real friend, a real friend is someone who you can talk about

anything and can be show up the moment you need. Other friends are just for

drinking and eating, they will not help you if you are in trouble. When we make

friends, the real one is what we need.

There was once a little boy that wanted to be an inventor. It was a very

big job, but it was almost his dream; and nobody ever questioned him about it.

It was spring, and the birds began chirping around the forest again. The boy was

glad that they were here, because he wanted to do some tests on them. When it

was finally the ending of what was going on, the boy went across the fields and

found out why the birds couldn’t speak, the most reasonable answer was: Because

those birds couldn’t speak, was first:Those birds have no tongue, and so they

couldn’t use their tongues to touch the places where they were supposed to. And

second they have no teeth.That was why the boy became a scientist after

that.

Everybody was very astonished to find out that a little boy who was only 5

years old to find out why a bird couldn’t speak. It was quite surprising for the

boy’s family too. They were all very, very, very proud of him. And there was

even a grand parade that day; and when this piece of news was reported,

everybody in the whole world knew all about it, maybe even China, or Hawaii; it

was really weird all of a sudden.

It was the time when the boy was to be a grownup; and it was also the time

when he was to find a job, because his inventor job had been canceled; for he

failed on one of the easiest tests in a contest.

Before what was repaired full of the training essays, somebody resigned the

exit sign to the elevator department, and was in big danger. The boy was the

only one that had figured out how to do this method. And so the manager called

him to repair this thing, and so he came here and finished his job; he was back

in business again.

Since the 63-year-old manager passed away, the boy became a manager. It was

a big duty that was on his honor, and when the time had arrived he hopped on the

scooter and drove out the balcony. It was quite an astonishing effect, but it

also proved of what the manager said actually the opposite of the single method

was the people pray.

After the most precious thing that had been used, it was the time for the

boy to return, but he yet never returned.

I am very happy and excited about the new year. Today is the new years eve

of the new years Eve. In the afternoon, I helped my father hang a Chinese knot

Gala begins. The comic dialogue inside is so interesting! Its so funny that you

can laugh. Its really nice! It sounds so good that people cant help but follow

hem. The dance inside is so beautiful! Its so beautiful that people

unconsciously jump up. After the Spring Festival Gala is over, my father and I

went down to fight the closing gun and went home to sleep.
