My Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

我的春节很过得特别,我的叔叔阿姨重上海回来.我们家的人十分高兴可以和他们过春节.这是我最兴奋的一次春节。

On New Years Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six oclock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

进入动物观赏车行区，我们坐在一辆密封的车子里，来到了“孟加拉虎区”。看着这些离我们很近的“百兽之王”，我既兴奋又害怕。它们有着好看的皮毛，黑黄相间的花纹，乌溜溜的眼睛直视着我们，充满了好奇。“哇，黑熊!”车上眼尖的人呼喊起来，随着车子的前行，我看见一只黑熊趴在小山坡上睡懒觉，任凭我们在车内大喊大叫，也惊醒不了它的美梦。接着，我们看到了豹子、长颈鹿、骆驼......最搞笑的是在车行道上散步的鸵鸟，任凭司机师傅怎样按喇叭长鸣，也丝毫不影响它们的闲庭信步。

来到了动物观赏步行区，我看到了笨重的河马，全身黑白条纹的斑马，骄傲的“孔雀公主”。活泼可爱的猴子不停地向游客讨要吃食，国家一级保护动物熊猫正坐在地上津津有味地吃着竹子......

我们来到的第一个景点，就是龙潭沟。来到龙潭沟停车场，下了车，顺着弯弯曲曲的小路往前走去，走了几分钟，便听见龙潭瀑布的水哗哗作响。再往下走，便看见一条清可见底的小河，前面有一座小桥，桥非常高，走上去，龙潭瀑布便出现在眼前。波涛澎湃，看着龙潭瀑布，我才真正领略到“飞流直下三千尺，疑是银河落九天”的壮丽。

，我们随着游览的人群往里走，接着跃入眼帘的是一座古老的亭子，上面坐满了休息的人群，我们顾不上休息，鼓足了劲继续往前走，没走几步就停住了，我仿佛来到了另一个世界：这里，山清水秀，鸟语花香，吸一口气感觉都是甜的，我吮吸着清新的空气，耳边鸟鸣声，流水声，仿佛一支支乐曲，让人听了心旷神怡，久久不愿离开。

我们又参观了，九仙山最有名的两座高峰老母阁和情侣峰。我们顺着弯弯曲曲的山路往上爬，走一会歇一会，不知不觉身上已经汗津津的了。虽然我很想停下来休息，可是我知道只有爬到山顶，才能感受出“会当凌绝顶，一览众山小”的壮观。

想到这，我浑身好像充满了力气，脚步也轻快了许多，很快就到达了山顶。从山顶往下望，山谷中笼罩着一层薄雾，仿佛给郁郁葱葱的树木披上了一层白纱，一条清清的小河环绕其中，给山谷增添了许多生机，真是一个人间仙境呀!

I began school at seven in accordance with the law in a remote village. Short of funds, the school had only a few classrooms, all poorly constructed.  to say, our teachers were few, too. As a pupil I preferred the playground to the classroom and often liked to play tricks on girls, as by hiding insects in their desk drawers. On one occasion, I even grimaced behind the back of our teacher, caing the whole class to break into laughter; however, instead of becoming angry, he merely asked why we were laughing and wondered whether there was anything wrong with him. On ather occasion, I punctured the tires of a  parked inside the school by ing something sharppointed, leaving the principal frightened and bewildered after he had ticed that. Such were the happy moments in my life at that school. The happiest moment, to me and to all of my schoolmates, however, was the one when the school was letting out at the last bell of the day and we were rhing home as if we would never be back. Once, on our way home, a bunch of naughty students found a crickets hole and exerted themselves to inject water into it with loud cheers. The girls were  less frantic than the boys when they were having a good time at such games as jump-rope, hopscotch and battledore and shuttlecock.

班长站上一个雪堆，学着毛主席的口号大喊着:“同志们，加把劲!革命胜利遥遥在望了!”同学们被逗得哈哈大笑，同时也擦擦汗水，揉揉胳膊，接着干!我和几个同学把铁锹并成一排，然后同时向前推去。一个人自己推很容易，不用担心轨道歪了或撞到什么，而好几个人一起推就没那么简单了，既需要技巧也需要团队配合的默契。我们刚开始还不太熟练，不是拐偏了就是错了位，总是不能完整地走一段。后来，同学们齐心协力，终于可以推出一条“大路”了。虽然天气很冷，但我知道，同学们的心里都很热，充满了力量。一个小时之后，我们班的分担区已经彻底清扫干净了，望着我们的“战果”，同学们心中都充满了喜悦与自豪。

通过这次扫雪，我明白了一个道理。我们是一个团体，只有团结一心，齐心协力，才会有所作为;而只顾及自己，不考虑他人的人，往往是不会成功的。

In the past, there have been many endangered animals. Now they are extinct. Does it matter? Has our environment been affected by their absence? Has the quality of our own life been changed? The answer to these questions is "Yes." It does matter if we destroy an endangered species habitat to develop more farmland, housing or industrial parks. There is a delicate balance of nature. If one small part is removed, it will affect all the other parts. For example, if certain trees are cut down, bats will have no place to roost. If they cannot roost, they cannot breed. If there are no bats, there will be no animal, or bird to eat certain insects that plague our crops.Our environment has been affected by the absence of certain animals. Certain flowers are pollinated by butterflies which migrate from Canada to Mexico. Some of the breeding grounds of these butterflies were destroyed. 听妈妈说，我很小的时候，就已经去过许多动物园了，但那时我还没开始记事，所以，在我记忆中是没去过动物园的。

趁现在学习不是特别紧张，爸爸妈妈和我在这个暑假去了动物园。

一下车，就到了动物园的南门口，入口装修得特别气派，大门让别人看起来像是木头做的，附近还种了几棵树，很多人都在大门口拍照留恋，当我还在观赏时，妈妈在我后面说：“儿子，向后看!”我立马转过头。“咔擦。”妈妈给我来了个偷拍，然后哈哈大笑起来像小孩子一样幼稚，哈哈!

买了票，走入里面，呵!像森林一样呢!有几棵参天大树在我们眼前，树干和树叶似乎将整个动物园，都盖了起来，让我仿佛置身于森林之中，与动物零距离接触。

有一张巨大型地图竖立在我们右方，游览路线特别多，我印象最深刻的就是“非洲部落”。首先，我们排队坐上小火车，这里的动物都是野兽，且没有栅栏，因此，我们中途不允许停车和上下车。

“呜——呜——”小火车开动了，首先看到的是大象，一共有四头公象，两头母象，小火车开近它们的时候，我发现一头公象的象牙只有一根!啊!人们真够可恶的。继续前行，看见了全身都是毛的羚羊，它们应该会温柔类型的吧。接下来，是猛兽区了，第一个看见的便是犀牛了，有两头犀牛趴在一个小池塘边，肉很多，让人看起来憨厚滑稽，并不像电视和书上说的那么凶狠，由此，我得到一个体会，人们将猛兽圈养起来，限制了它们的自由，断掉了食物链的关系，使它们丧失了原本的野性。

随后看到的是河马，河马是我最喜欢的动物之一，觉得它们非常可爱，只见饲养员拿着一根长长的竹竿，顶着一捆草，对面的河马就张开它那巨大的口，我目测上下应该有五十厘米吧!火车上的游客都拿出手机拍照，正好，这精彩的瞬间被我爸爸拍下来了。

接下来看到的是金钱豹，一共有两只，我们去的时候它们正你打我，我打你，不知是在打架还是嬉戏。噢!一大群狮子映入眼帘，说实话，我不喜欢狮子，仅仅因为它们长得有点丑，不过它们非常勇猛。

出了猛兽区，小火车便进入了一片草原，有三只长颈鹿正围着一根电线杆，原来，电线杆的顶部捆着一些草，它们正在津津有味得吃着呢。长颈鹿也是我喜欢的动物之一。之后还看了一些有趣的动物，收获颇多。

My life in the University of Education

How time flies! It has been about two years since I came to the University of Education. Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

University is not only a place where you can learn something useful from textbooks, but also a place where you can improve your ability to communicate with others.

During the year university study, I can not only acquire a lot of book learning, but also foster various abilities. All types of extracurricular activities such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and traveling provide opportunities to make friends, many of these friendships may last a long time. I like talking and playing with others, so I own many friends. Sometimes I feel lonely, angry and also homesick. But fortunately I own these good friends. They helped me spend these sad days. I find words cannot express my sincere thanks to them. But I know when they need help; I will do everything that I can do to help those who helped me before.

我从4岁起就开始学英语了，英语水平在班里一直不错。有一天父亲对我说：“过几天有个英语比赛，你去试试吧。”我答应了。像这样的英语比赛我根本瞧不上，在我看来，去参加比赛的选手80%都是奔奖品去的，只有30%是真正想测试自己的英语水平的，半数以上都是“乌合之众”。这种小竞赛，题目肯定难不到哪儿去，随便看看就能取得好成绩。怀揣这种轻敌的心理，我只是简单翻看了一下参考书上的基础题就去了考场。

第一场考口语，那几个简单的单词对我来说简直不算什么，没多久我就把老师问的题全部答了出来。

第二场考笔答，听力20分，笔试80分。听力测试内容是书上的一篇课文，因为我只看了看基础题，课文一点没瞧，面对这部分题我傻了眼。我只好把希望寄托在笔试上，可谁知笔试部分只有少数题是基础题，剩下的全是阅读题，这时我才知道我彻底完了!

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I live with my father and mother in a very big house in Dongguan. My parents are both very busy. They leave for work very early in the morning and don’t return home until late in the evening.

When I am home on weekends from school, we spend a lot of time together. We talk about my studies, my health and my school life. I love my parents very much.

My grandparents are still living, but they don’t live with us. Their health is good and they both do sports very early in the morning. My grandmother does gymnastics with elderly women her age in the park. Both of my grandfathers play basketball in the morning and sometimes they go swimming.

Chinese people eat rice for every meal, but I don’t like rice because I think it is tasteless! We eat meat, fish and vegetables. My family eats noodles and congee. My favorite is noodles.

I often play computer games because I like it so much. I often watch Japanese cartoon movies with my parents on the weekends. On long holidays we take trips, too.
