I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

五一天气可真好呀！妈妈就约姑婆一起去高新区玩。一到站我就对妈妈说：“今天我们去水上公园玩吧。”妈妈同意了。我们走了很远很远，但是仍然没走到地方，就只好继续走，花了差不多半小时才走到。

Autumn orchards are colorful. You look! The orchard, fruit ripe, persimmon, pomegranate, apple, pear you squeeze me touch, as if to fight people to pick it! Persimmon smile red face, like a small lanterns hanging on the branches. Pomegranate laughed his mouth, red fruit like a red agate. The apple was covered with branches and the heavy fruit bent over the branches, like a shy little girl, hiding under the leaves, and was reluctant to come out. Huang Chengcheng pears hanging crystal clear dew, facing the morning sun, reflecting the dazzling light, as if to say: "Do you want to bite me?" Autumn is the fruit show the season.

Autumn orchard is really beautiful! I love the fall of the orchard, more love autumn orchard to bring people the joy of harvest!

盼望着，盼望着，国庆来了;盼望着，盼望着，抓螃蟹的日子来了。

清早，我和爸爸妈妈就拿上抓螃蟹的工具赶往渡口和同学们会合了。到了渡口，我们连人带车上了一艘大大的渡轮。只听见一声轰鸣，渡轮便开起来了，五六分钟后，我们便到了向往已久的双山岛。到了目的地，我们看见泥地里很多很多的螃蟹在迅速地爬行着。我们激动极了，立马换好雨鞋，一手拿着铲子，一手拿着小桶，就朝螃蟹奔去。我看中了一只小螃蟹，鼓起勇气伸出手来，可那只螃蟹却举起了大螯，想要夹我，我马上把手缩了回来，大喊着向爸爸请求支援。只见爸爸用手按住螃蟹的背甲，再用大拇指和食指按住两只大螯，最后轻轻一捏，这只螃蟹就成了爸爸的手下败将了。螃蟹在爸爸的手上扭来扭去的，想要夹爸爸却又夹不着，气得眼睛都鼓起来了，我心中却乐开了花。后来，我也学着爸爸的样子抓住了几只小螃蟹，信心大增，便想尝试抓大一点的螃蟹。爸爸告诉我：大螃蟹一般都躲在洞里，洞越大，一般螃蟹就越大。我找到一个大洞口，用铲子使劲地挖起来，可是越挖螃蟹就越往里钻，可把我急死了。这时，爸爸又给我支了一招：螃蟹洞有点斜，只要用铲子在洞后方叉进去，然后一撬，螃蟹就会被吓得跑出来，这时我们再抓就简单多了。后来我和爸爸通力合作，前后夹击，抓了好多大螃蟹，我们的桶渐渐满起来了!这时候妈妈们喊：“收工啦!”我们便拎着小桶意犹未尽地往上爬，这时我们相互看了看，发现一个个都变成了小泥人，不约而同地哈哈大笑起来。到了酒店，我们亲手抓的小螃蟹也被加工成了美食。吃着用自己的汗水换来的美味，我们心里乐滋滋的。吃完饭，我们还骑了自行车，打了高尔夫球，真是收获颇丰啊!

此次双山岛之游，我们不仅收获了螃蟹，还学会了抓螃蟹的技巧，最重要的是加深了友情。

双山岛，我还会再来的!

i often go to see my grandma grandpa during my summer vacation。they are both seventy years old live in the country happily。 summer view of the countryside is very beautiful。 i can do many interesting things there。 i am used to getting up early in the morning， breathing the fresh air，listening to the birds singing， enjoying the green trees， red flowers the river。 i like fishing with my friends。 when night comes， i sit under the tree with my grandma， listening to her telling me many funny stories。 and i tell her some new things happening in the city。 when i have to go back，i am always reluctant to go。 i really feel happy living in the country。

我经常去看望我的爷爷奶奶在夏天他们都是七十岁，住在乡下，夏天的乡下非常漂亮。我可以做很多有趣的事情。我习惯早起，呼吸新鲜空气，听鸟儿唱歌，享受绿色的树，红色的花河。我喜欢和我的朋友去钓鱼。夜幕降临时，我坐在树下与我的奶奶，听她告诉我许多有趣的故事。我告诉她发生在城市的一些新的东西。当我回去时，我总是恋恋不舍。我真的很喜欢乡下的生活。

上个假期，我和姐姐们一起到农村奶奶家度假。乡村里的天比城里的更可爱，空气是那么的清新，天空是那么的明朗，使人心旷神怡。我们跟着哥哥们在山坡上找野菌，捕野鸡……漫山遍野都留下了我们的足迹，虽然收获寥寥无几，但却很开心。

有一天早上，婶婶对我们说：“今天我们去挖红薯吧！”我一听，兴奋地一蹦三尺高，大声嚷着：“太好了，太好了！”我们开始出发了。这时，太阳刚出来，给远处地里的庄稼抹上了一层金子般的颜色，金光闪闪，美丽极了，小学二年级作文《作文 -难忘的假期》。我正陶醉在这美丽的景色里。大姐走过来说：“快走吧，不然你就掉队了！”我只好跟着她们走了。走了大概半个小时，就到了红薯地。红薯地里除了一些稀稀疏疏的枯藤外，其它什么也没见着。婶婶开始挖红薯了，她挖到的红薯一个比一个大，我拿在手里真是爱不释手。一会儿的功夫，婶婶就挖出了很多红薯。我迷惑不解地问婶婶：“您是怎么挖到这么多红薯的呢？”婶婶指着一根枯黄的红薯藤，说?“这里有红薯，你挖挖看吧！”我挖开了这根红薯藤，里面果然躺着一个大大的红薯，我高兴极了，连忙捧着自己的劳动成果，手舞足蹈起来，逗得大家哈哈大笑。过了一会儿，婶婶在下面割猪草，我们就在上面挖红薯。挖着挖着，我脚下一滑，从上面滚了下来，正好滚进婶婶的背篓里，婶婶急忙从背篓把我拉了出来。姐姐们看见了，笑得前俯后仰，说：“你还真是属蛇的，身子都这么滑。”我气呼呼的说：“你们有点仁慈心好不好，我摔倒了，你们不但不安慰我，反而幸灾乐祸。”大姐说：“不是我们没有仁慈心，而是你摔倒的动作太滑稽了。”到了下午，我们背着自己亲手挖的红薯，高高兴兴地回家了。

一个假期很快就结束了，我们依依不舍的离开了那里，虽然这事已经过去好几个月了，可每一次想起都让人回味无穷。

今天下午，我和爸爸妈妈还有我最要好的朋友“黄灵芝”一起来到东湖公园玩。

我们一进门，爸爸就提议道：“我们一起去鬼屋里玩吧!”我一听到鬼这个字，就害怕的躲到了妈妈的身后。心想：鬼屋里一定有许多的鬼!我越来越害怕，身体都抖起来了。我急忙着对爸爸说：“爸爸，我们去那边玩青蛙跳吧!”

我和黄灵芝一起来到入口，找到位置马上坐好。要开始了，我们慢慢的往上升。突然，我们一下落到了地面，我吓得都想上厕所了!上下了几个来回，游戏就结束了。

接着我们还玩了许多游戏，有碰碰车、海盗船等等。玩着玩着，就要到晚上了。我们都不想走，因为公园里有许多刺激的游戏，我真想再有机会来到这里游玩!

今天我们一家人过了一个快乐的国庆节!

Music is part of our life, nearly everybody will listen to the music, no

matter what nation they are from. Music is divided into many types, such as the

blues, the country music, the rock and roll. Once blues belonged to the black

people, but as time went by, music is accepted by all classes. People always

share the hottest songs together, just like they can communicate. Once in the

foreign country, I had dinner in a restaurant, where there had the singers.

People enjoyed the music when they were eating. At this moment, it was music

that brought people together, and they share the same emotion.
