同学们，我们十分讨厌的期中考试终于过去了，心中仿佛一块大石头落了地的舒畅，但事实告诉我，这是在白日做梦……期中考试的成绩终将公布。许多同学期中考试过后都会有不同的结果，有的突飞猛进、有的一落千丈。虽然成绩不能代表一切，但大家可以知道这段时间你学得怎么样。而我，在知道期中考试成绩时和之后的画面是这样的……

那是万里无云、天气晴朗而且鸟语花香的一天。可就在这么阳光明媚的日子里，我的心情非常糟糕，这来源于前些天的英语期中考试的分数出来了。对于我来说，英语并没有什么好担心的，因为我一向英语成绩优异，可这次，偏偏给了我一次打击。

英语张老师开始报分数了，我的心里“砰砰”直跳，当念到我的名字的时候，我深深地吸了一口气，静静地听着。我的分数是96、5，可能很多家长觉得这个成绩很不错了，但我的爸爸妈妈不这么认为。因为还有100分、99分，还有比我更高的。我很理解他们，他们只是希望我考得更好些。每一次批评都是鼓励，每一次开心都是因为考了好成绩。我们是自私的，只想着爸妈为我们付出，可是从没想过我们给予爸妈什么。经历了这次考试，我以后一定要更加勤奋地学习。

一段小插曲过后，接下来的才是真正的狂欢。那一天下着大雨，我们语文与数学的成绩即将出来了。我的心情是忐忑的。心里每时每刻都在想着我的成绩会不会像天气那样是大雨如注，但很快，我的心里就很坦然了。我的期中考试语文成绩是95、5，名列全班第二，但还是有些许的不甘心，因为如果那两个看拼音写词语不错的话，我就能与唐雅兰并列第一了。数学成绩老师还未公布，只留下了“最高唐雅兰96”这句话，其他的我们一无所知。第二天，我最期待的一天到来了。我终于进了我们班数学前三甲，这次位居第三，而且我们班只有3个人是90分以上的，我的心里乐开了花。

三段小故事过后，我们家是这样的。“你啊你，你看看这两分是不是因为你的粗心才错的！要是中考、高考的话，你的排名都要几千名、几万名开外了！把这两个词语每个写50遍，让你刻骨铭心地记着，下次再错就100遍！”“你怎么这么不仔细，数学你不是都会的吗？”“你看看英语，不是你的特长吗？怎么就考这么点分数呢？”我虚心地接受着家人的批评，心中也在想着是不是自己真的存在这样的毛病。

介绍完我期中考试后的故事后，我想说的是：不管你的爸爸妈妈对你怎么样，但至少都是爱你的，是为了你好。考试只代表过去，不能预判将来，所以，我们要更努力地学习和读书，不管考得好不好，至少你努力过、认真过，那就是最好的。同学们，让我们发奋读书吧！

我喜欢考试，它能够测试我，但我又害怕考试，因为我怕自我考不好，无颜回家见爹娘，更惭愧的是不知如何应对老师及自我。

期中考试过去了，只想长叹一声“唉”！是的，我又失败了。然后上体育课时，得知数学仅考了97分！它顿时成了心灵上的“创伤”，这个“创伤”占满了我的心灵，此刻，泪水模糊了我的眼睛，看不清任何东西，世界是黑暗的，我像跌进了一个百丈深渊，无论怎样努力往上怕都无法回到原地，我多么期望这只是一个梦呀！让我再考一次，但这个天真的想法是不可能实现的，倒不如大哭一场，学杜小康坦然应对现实。

陈老师说真是“几家欢喜几家愁”，看着人家拿着一百多分的卷子，然后脸上满是笑容，而我却只能拿着一张90多分的卷子默默叹气、哀愁、着急。

卷子发下后，我分析了错题为什么错，大多是没有复习全面，检查不够仔细，导致出现许多不就应错的题目。

我比较满意的就是政治成绩，我也没有想到我会考88分，成为年级政治最高分，然后但又一次与90分失之交臂，如果我稍稍再仔细点，90分就拿定了，那该有多好啊！

回到家后，又翻开这一叠沉重的试卷，一把把红叉刺痛了我的心。我暗暗下定决心，我必须要勤学好问，更加努力，在下一次考试中必须要取得一个好成绩，我必须能行的！

居里夫人以前说过“失败乃成功之母”。我们要想成功，就必须会跨过失败这道坎。

今后我必须要努力努力再努力，我相信我必须能行的！

英语写作对许多考生来说是令人头痛的难题。究其原因，造成写作困难的因素很多，根据我们对考生的了解，可归结为以下两个主要方面。

第一，在外语学习五项能力――听、说、读、写、译――的训练方面，学生从中学到大学在听、说、读三项能力方面得到的训练比较多，而在写的能力上得到的培养最少，有时最基本的写句训练都是靠做选择项的形式来完成的，很少有真正动手写的机会；因而很多学生在做语法题或改错时有敏锐的辩别力，能够找出很复杂的语法错误，可是一旦自己真正动笔写，却错误多得不得了，而且很多都是最简单最基本的语法错误。所以，平时写的少，练的少，是构成写作困难的主要原因。

第二，不少学生缺乏对写作知识和写作技巧的了解和学习。他们一写作文，就感到脑子空空，不知如何下笔，写起来也是想到哪儿，写到哪儿，有时还东拼西凑，因而写作文时，常常是低水平上的重复，提高不快。如果能了解和学习一些英语写作知识，加上适当的指导和训练，写作水平会很快得到提高。考生要根据所给题目、素材、写作提纲、规定情景或图表等在40分钟内写出不少于150词的短文。要求内容切题，表达清楚，意义连贯，语言比较规范。根据大纲的要求，考生要想在短文写作中取得高分，首先要具备两方面的英语基本功：一是较强的句子表达水平，句子要写正确、表达准确到位，要有一定的英语修辞知识。二要具备英语语篇写作知识，这样才能适应不同类型的命题，主动灵活有条理地运用自己的语言知识和能力写好短文。此外，考生还应对作文考题有一定的了解，知己知彼才能稳操胜券。

(1)作文选材均为热门话题并贴近生活作文选题范围均为当今社会的热门话题，从电视广告到希望工程，从父母与子女的关系到拥有健康的重要性，从世界烟民现状到近年盛行一时的“承诺”，环境保护，无不反映了当前公众最为关注的事。

(2)文体多为说明文与议论文说明文和议论文用途较广，我们平时接触的文章、报纸、信件等等多为这两种体裁。在工作岗位上所撰写的材料大多也是说明文或议论文。因而考这种体裁的写作比较符合实际需要。

(3)出题形式趋于多样化。这一变革显示了对提高考生的实际运用语言能力的重视，同时也要求考生要在多写多练上下功夫，这样对才能在作文考试中夺取高分。提高笔头表达能力是关键：我们希望广大考生要在切实提高英语写作水平上下功夫，不能靠扣题、押题或背诵一些短文应付考试，其结果必然与希望的相差甚远。背诵是学习英语的一种好方法，但仅靠背诵来提高英语写作水平是不够的。写作水平的提高还是要靠亲自动笔写，多写多练，把学到的语言知识运用到写作中去。

考生可以参考以下方法进行写作练习。

1.多读范文多读范文能使考生了解写作方法，写作的常用词汇，记住其中一些比较好的用法。

2.多写作文12月前应该每周写一篇作文并且要把每一篇写好，不要在一个水平上反复重复，要力争写好每一篇，这样写几篇后就会有收获。临近考试，可以按照规定时间写作，此时写作的题目要广泛，各种话题都要写一些，以增强适应性。

3.写作时可以多查字典，不看范文写作时遇到不会写的词句要多查字典，还要看该词的用法，这样才能保证正确使用；写前不要看范文，看了范文会影响自己的思路，写完后再参看范文。

这是我们入初中以来的第一次大型考试，七年级的期中考试。

今天上午考地理！本来已经有十足打算的我，在看到题的那一秒中，我像是被石化了。

本来还存着一丝丝侥幸心理的我呆住了。

只有板块和位置这里没背！我在心里叫着。唉，看来这一科必挂啊！板块和各大洲的位置这里没背，正好就考这里了！

唉，我呀，我呀，为什么就这么懒呢？为什么不多复习复习呢？为什么不多背背单词，看看板块位置，问问多项式这里呢？

这一次入初中以来的第一次大型考试——期中考试，我真是后悔呀！不过，我相信，我一定能从这次期中考试中吸取教训，总结经验，上课好好听，下课多复习，不会多问问，争取下次努力努力，考个好成绩！

当我看到数学成绩时，我哭了，透过泪水我看到了老师和父母对我的失望和惋惜！ 这次的数学成绩太令我失望了，因为错的非常可惜。一道应用题，在4000米长的路两旁栽树，每隔100米栽一棵，两端都要栽，问一共能栽多少棵？我算式列对了，可惜把4000抄成了400，检查时竟也没检查出来，因此，那宝贵的5分就跟我说拜拜了。最后一题是画折线统计图，图我画对了，可画完后，我却放松了，描点的时候，我竟然把85描在了75上，虽说下面的都描对了，可一分也没给我。都是粗心惹得祸，看着卷子上那鲜红而又刺眼的红叉叉，我心里像打翻了五味瓶，说不出是什么味了。

我流着泪，垂头丧气地趴在桌子上，其实妈妈也很失望，可是为了不让我气馁，妈妈却又安慰我，鼓励我：这只是人生中的一次小测验而已，你要学会输得起，考得不好没关系，只要你能从中找到错误并吸取教训，你就是最棒的。考试已经过去了，要把所有的成绩都归零。不要因为语文、英语考得好而骄傲，也不要因为数学没考好就气馁。我们现在要做的就是要从失败的地方站起来，为以后的学习打好基础，时刻对自己充满信心，宝贝，妈妈相信你！

听了妈妈这番话，我的眼前顿时一片光亮，我内心的阴暗被驱逐走了。我又重新拾回了信心，对呀！哭不是目的，怎样克服粗心大意才是最重要的。妈妈经常看《哈佛女孩刘亦婷》，她笑着对我说：刘亦婷的妈妈说开朗活泼的孩子大多都有粗心的毛病，粗心不是学习态度的问题，而是学习能力的问题，既然能力不足就要采取相应的措施来防治。我说呀，开朗活泼没有错，错的是粗心。咱们今天就按照她们的方法来制定专项训练计划。我当然是迫不及待了，真想把这粗心一拳打走。变粗心为细心具体方法：

一、提高细心度的方法——抄电话号码。找一个通讯录，在一分钟内抄写电话号码，做到左手指、右手抄，尽量做到抄得又快又不出错。连续对三次以上结束当天的训练，如果错了就要训练十分钟。

二、计算快又准的方法——扑克牌速算。去掉牌里的大小王和j、q、k，然后把牌洗乱，再掐着秒表一张张地迅速累加牌上的数字，直到熟练无比。这个方法我以前用过，可都没坚持下来，这次我一定要坚持下来。

三、写得快又好的方法——抄写阿拉伯数字。在一分钟内尽可能快而又准确地抄写阿拉伯数字，具体方法同一。

成长的路上有曲折和险峻，有人失败有人成功。良好的计划是成功的一半，妈妈的鼓励是我前行的动力。努力+好的学习方法=成功 总有一天，我一定会超越自我……

Sunrise at Sea

I would often get up early to watch the sunrise when it was not yet quiet light and all was quiet except for the droning of the ship engine.

The sky was pale with a bluish blue. Soon a streak of pink dawn broke over the horizon，expanding gradually and becoming brighter and brighter. Knowing that the sun was about to rise, I had my eyes fixed on the distant edge of the sea.

Sometimes, with thick layers of dark clouds hanging in the sky, the sun was hardly visible to the naked eye. But its radiance managed to show through the dark clouds to edge them with golden lace.
