总结了失败的原因，才发现有很多。首先，学习态度不端正，课前预习不充分，学完每一课后没有及时复习，导致考试时碰到以前课程的题目，失分过多。学习习惯不好，没有合理安排时间，作业的质量与效率不高，经常熬夜，上课没有精神。

其次，上课没有积极参与课堂，对于每一个问题没有仔细思考，以致思路不活跃，掌握的知识不具体、不全面，不会举一反三，思考问题所需时间很长，导致作文时间不充裕。做的练习很少，做题的经验较少。

再者，便是课外书的阅读，阅读量过少，导致写作文没有素材，词汇的积累也很少，语言没有逻辑性，文章显得十分杂乱，苍白无力。对历史与人文的理解也很少，对许多文章包括诗词都不能理解，导致考试中的课外文言文失分不少，阅读能力仍有待提高。

最后，则是我最大的弱点：粗心。总是“大意失荆州”，做题马马虎虎，没有审清题意便盲目做题，不知是语文，所有的科目都是这样，做完试卷后没有仔细检查，导致犯了许多不该错的失误，正确率较低。以后做题一定要仔细，不能因为题目简单而不去在意，学习是一个循环渐进的过程，只有打牢了基础，才能在此之上再去提高，所以，对以前知识的掌握，是必要性的。

在期中考试的前一夜，我复习了运算定律、打注意线的部分和要背的课文，信心满满的迎接明天的期中考试，在床上鼓励自己的同时，我安然地睡着了。

第二天，我早早地起了床，穿衣服、刷牙、洗脸、吃饭、收拾书包，和平常一样做得井井有条，但出门前的心情却不同，比以前紧张万分，是因为考试的原因。

到了学校，同学们有条不紊的坐上自己的座位，我拿出语文书，使劲地读，希望自己考出好成绩。

每个周一，都是一周的开始。而下周一，我们将迎来意义重大的期中考试。

“期中考试，期中考试……”在升完国旗回班的路上，我不停地嘟囔着。期中考试的到来，加快了我们学习的脚步，压力也随之而来。我有点儿担心，体育考试，虽然成为历史，但是它还是要加入到总成绩里的。体育考试我败局已定，分数不太理想，相对于上次月考而言，名次会不会有所退步呢？内心十分纠结，不敢再向坏的方面想去。

又转念一想，我眼前又浮现出我如今刻苦学习的画面。现在，同学们都在暗暗下劲，心中都有一个自己的小目标，考得不好的同学都期待着这次期中考试早日到来，能够“一血耻辱。”
