刚放假的那会儿，妈妈要上班，白天都是我一个人在家，妈妈只是中午回家做个午饭。妈妈说过，做事情要前紧后松。我希望早点完成作业，所以我基本按照学校的作息时间，不过，我早上起床当然没有上学的时候的早，上学时，天还没亮就要起床了。才几天，老师布置的书面作业，我就已经完成了，剩下的就是每天背唐诗，复习英语以及把这学期没有做完的练习题完成。在空闲的时候，我会看课外书，这个寒假我已经看了几本课外书——《中国儿童文学》，《爱的教育》，有时候我也会看《读者》。我现在正在看作家周国平写的《妞妞》。

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today, there are many business in my mother’s company. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mother’s company. I sat in my mother’s office and help her answer the telephone. While I was free, I was writing my homework. Although I also have a lot of time to do my homework, I still do it. It is a special day today. My mother sent one hundred basket of red bayberries. I like to eat red bayberries. It tastes nice. When they arrived in Shanghai, they were still fresh. But most of them would be sent to my mother’s business friends. I chose the best basket of red bayberries to eat. I put the rest in my refrigerator. Red bayberry is my hometown’s special product. It is well-known in china. Many people like to eat it.

Today, I still went to my mother’s office. My mother was very busy, so was my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they will manage the factory. So I know they are very laborious. So I should save my money. Also I should help them. Although I can’t do something useful, but I think I should share the work with them. I like reading novels, because in the novels, I can imagine the world that

the author creates, I treat myself as part of the novels, it feels like that I

witness all the incidents. I especially like to read short novels, because I

don’t have so much to read the long novels, I am studying in the high school, I

have many subjects to learn. I have little time only on the weekends. Short

novels only costs me about one day to finish reading, while the long novels will

take me more than a week to finish, if I hang on reading part of it, I will

think about it all the time and can’t focus my mind on studying. What’s more, I

like to read novels more than twice, so it is easy to do for me to read short

Today，pollution has become a serious problem to us. It means that the air，seas，rivers and land are polluted by waste or poisonous things.

It does harm not only to human beings but also to animals .

We cannot have fresh air because many factories have the poisonous smoke sent into the air. Beautiful parks are made dirty by plastic tins and bags.

Fish die from the polluted water. It is said that strange diseases have appeared in some places because of pollution.

I hope scientists can find ways to solve the serious problem.

I liked it at once when I first heard this song. I thought it was the best song that I had ever heard. Then I found the words of this song. Since then I began to know more about Michael Jackson. I began to love him. He was named "King of Pop". He hold a Children Foundationg and wanted to make the world peace through the music.Although he was dead, he was still one of the most famous singers in the world. I love him, because he was not only a singer but also a loving person.

Sea pollution is becoming an increasing problem for our planet and we have

a responsibility to reduce sea pollution.

I need to describe the problem. Our ship currently dumps all its rubbish

into the sea.Its easy to result in huge endanger. First of all, Non-organic

substances such as plastic bags kill fish and whales. Because fish get trapped

and whales cannot digest them. Secondly some rubbish is inherently toxic.

I can suggest some solutions. First and foremost we can create a better

system of disposing of rubbish for instance. We ought to store rubbish. Next, we

are supposed to make ships environmentally and friendly. A case in point is that

we should stop providing plastic bags.

We must act now before it is too late!
