As is known to all, China is popular for its emperor of bicycles. This is

because our country is still a developing country and few people can afford

private cars. The demand for a means of transport is met by making millions of

bicycles available. Riding a bicycle has a lot of advantages over driving a car.

First, it is a physical exercise to ride a bicycle. In contrast, sitting in the

car, one tends to gain weight. Besides, it is nmch more economical to ride a

bike than drive a car. On the one hand,the only fee a bike-rider has to pay is

the annual tax. However, the annual fees for a car are costly. On the other

hand, a bike neednt be equipped with a parking lot, but a car must. Most

junk food is those low nutrition, high calorie, processed food with much salt or

The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes,underground, and other sources. Yesterday was Teachers Day. It was a great day for all the teachers and also a happy time for us students. In the morning.we went to school early and put a bunch of flowers on our class masters desk to give him a big surprise. Some of us stood at the school gate to say hello to every teacher when they entered the school. In the afternoon, we held a party. We sang and danced with the teachers. They said the best reward for the teachers was to see that we were making progress.

The summer holiday is going to the end. I am happy in the holiday, because

In the new term, I must work harder. I did not do very well in the last term.

Therefore, I want to make progress in the new term. Besides, I want to do some

more readings. Books are the best resources to get knowledge. So I want to make

good use of books to improve myself. Finally, do exercise regularly. A healthy

body is the basic of other things. I must take part in exercise to keep healthy.

My school is very beautiful. It is Nanhai Experimental School. There are

three tall buildings in our school. They all have five floors. In the teaching

building， the P.E.room is on the first floor. The library is on the second

floor. The science rooms are on the third floor. The computer rooms are on the

third floor and the fourth floor. The music rooms are on the third floor and the

fourth floor. My class room is on the fifth floor. I am in Class9， Grade 6.

There are five gardens in our school. In the gardens there are many beautiful

flowers， grass and trees. There is a big playground in my school.

I like my school， because my school is very beautiful.

People always believe that when there is pressure, there is motivation, it

seems that pressure equals motivation. We need pressure, it makes us keep move

on, with pressure, we know what to do and how to fulfill our targets. Without

pressure, we are just like a child, never grow up, having no idea of

responsibility. It is pressure that makes us become mature, we should have
