fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving was about

the Pilgrims, the first settlers in America. They shared the first harvest with

the Indians and gave thanks.

Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day. People always celebrate with big

dinners and happy reunions. Pumpkin pie and Indian pudding are traditional

Thanksgiving desserts. Relatives from other cities, students who have been away

at school, and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday

at home.

On that day, Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed

during the year. And I am sure that we all must have a lot to be thankful for.

Maybe you would like to give thanks for being here with your family and for

being well,or give thanks for a healthy year, a good job,or thank your friends

for encouraging you when you are in dismay,etc.

立于大门前的我，感到自己是多么渺小，威风凛凛的石门矗立于小镇的最顶端。美丽的字迹勾勒旅行的开端。淡淡的古城特殊的韵味渐渐显露在我们面前。

沿着羊肠小道，周边的风景就更佳了。石子铺成的小道别有一番趣味，上面圆溜溜的鹅卵石，不同的颜色交映着。比那些宝石都漂亮，更朴素。小道旁坐落着几座民宿，门前挂着几盏红艳艳的灯笼，为这新年增添了不同的气氛。一块小小的竹地紧挨着民宿跟前，似乎被雪打的更精神了，根根苍翠欲滴。说不定，在那厚厚的竹叶覆盖着的下面。已经萌发出鲜嫩的小笋了。嘘!别吵，听他们正在长大。这就是大自然的奇妙之处。小道旁有两条小渠里不知从哪来的小鲤鱼。红红的身子上不知何时被点上了黑黑的小斑点，更加讨人喜欢。害得小孩不顾一切的伸向那冷冰冰的水。一口古井出现于眼前，上面布满着岁月的痕迹，井底已经干涸，只剩下那野草从那石缝中生长。再走进些，小道上挤满了人，虽只是新年，可是比当初的庙会热闹多了。小巷间传来淡淡的香气，说是美食的香气，更是这古镇古色古香的韵味。循着这淡淡的，令人着迷的味儿。来到了一座木板桥上，桥上散发着淡淡的木头的清香。这是大自然所赐予的味道，令人心旷神怡，陶醉其中。不说大话，这真这一个仙境，处处弥漫着仙气。

水上是喷泉更为精彩。一大朵水花从水面一跃而起，喷出一道浪花。喷射在喷泉周边的那一盆盆的鲜花上。温柔可人，一大美景啊!一阵迟来的春风袭来，我也毫不顾及，我已经被那座高高在山上的寺庙所吸引。虽看不清，但影影绰绰的美在我心中永存。

清清的水，蓝蓝的天，岸上芦苇已经暗黄。虽已经劳累，但也迟迟不肯离去，眼前的一切，是中国五千年的历史所馈赠人们的礼物。虽多处是人工仿造，但也表明了中国历史的雄伟之举。
