Which is more important in life, cooperating with others, or selecting competition? The answer may vary from person to person. 树有长短，人分高低，水有清浊，面分丑俊.忙碌在大千世界的芸芸众生，既离不开竞争，也离不开合作。在当今这个社会里，也许还有不少数人认为，竞争与合作是对冤家，根本无法相结合从而达到良好效果。我觉得此观点是错误的，应该说竞争与合作永远是紧密相连的一对联体兄弟，他们代表着两种不同的互动关系。竞争能使人激发动力，增强活力;而合作呢?则能使人友好相处，团结协作。马克思说过，协作能提高个人的生产力，并且是”创造一种生产力”，还能产生一加一大于二的神奇效果。只要既竞争有合作，我们才能突破孤军奋战的局限，实现双赢。

随着全球经济的全球化，一体化，各国之间的联系越来越密切。特别是我国在2001年12月11日正式加入wto，成为世界贸易组织成员。于是，我国的各行各业纷纷走出国门，参与全球竞争，参与全球合作。从而，使我国的经济发展达到令人瞩目的地步，综合国力日益增强，国际地位逐步提高。

同学们，不仅国于国之间存在着竞争与合作关系;个人与个人之间也存在着竞争与合作。

就拿我们身边的事例来说，我们每个同学在学习上也存在着竞争与合作，我们每个同学都在学习中竞争，在竞争中合作。但是前提是我们要勇敢要有自信。如果我们连拿出一份与他人竞争的勇气都不能，那么我们就是学习上的懦夫。有或者，你根本就不想与他人分享和探讨你所掌握的知识，纵使你取得了好成绩，但我相信你的好成绩是暂时的，因为缺乏竞争意识和合作意识的人，不合群，把自己孤立起来的人是不会永远取得成功的。所以我们得把竞争意识和合作意识灌注我们的脑里，把他们运用到学习中来，让我们在学习中竞争在学习中合作，我们才能在我们的学习领域里达到优势互补。取长补短的效果。

说了这么多，无非是想让同学们知道竞争与合作这一概念在社会中存在的重要性，以及让同学们培养竞争意识和合作意思，从而让同学们的人生更充满刺激，充满韵味!

It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I am free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Zhongshan. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an Englishdaily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours.I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

Today I had nothing to do again, so I started to write about my boring

I still have to write these boring summer journals because they are my
