In spite of the flood disaster, a good harvest is still in sight.

Yesterday we went to a nearby village to help the peasants get in the crops. We left our school early in the morning. It took us half an hour to reach the village. As soon as we got there, we joined the peasants in their harvesting work. They taught us how to cut rice, and how to tie it. It was in the fields that we had our lunch. After lunch, we had a short rest. We were fascinated by the beautiful scenery of the countryside. It got dark when we returned home. We were very tired, but we felt very happy.

It was raining when Tom was on his way home. He opened his umbrella and

walked faster. Suddenly he saw an old woman staggering forward with a stick in

her hand. She hadnt got an umbrella with her and was wet all over. Tom went up

to her and tried to share his umbrella with her. But the old woman was tall and

he was too short to hold it high enough. Then he saw the old womans stick and a

good idea came to him. He tried hard to tie the stick to the handle of the

umbrella. Then the umbrella was long enough for both of them. The old woman

thanked him again and again. Then they went on walking home.

We have read so many inspiring examples about how the successful people

stick to their dreams. We see the power of persistence. But as I see different

situations, sometimes the way to gain achievement is not favored by me.

Different people have different ways to keep move on.

For those people whose family are not poor, they can chase their dreams

without hesitation. The parents will give great support to them and no matter

what their children do, they just want them to be happy. Without the economic

burden, those people can focus all their attention and follow their dreams all

the time.

But for the persons whose family are poor, especially the parents are

waiting for the children’s economic support, they should make ends meet first

and then follow their dreams. Life can’t be ideal all the time, only when they

solve the basic needs, dreams will be supported. Some people make the things

they like as a hobby, they keep studying it in their spared time, if insist,

they will get the extra achievement.

Following dreams completes our life and make us live with meaning. The will

of never giving up will bring us success someday.

I plan to do lots of homework today.First ,I read english articles,next I wrote my science tests snd math tests.I had some questions.So I called to my classmates to ask,then I listened to the music,I enjoyed it.In the afternoon,I drew some bananas,I believed I can draw it well.In the evening ,I played computer games.After that ,I read a famous book on the bed.It was a happy day today.

Everybody has own ideal, my ideal is works as an honorable peoples teacher. I went to Hai Nan with my parents during the Chinese New Year and visited my relatives over there. The weather over there was beautiful. It was so much warmer than my city. We stayed in a hotel and we spent a lot of time on the beaches. My parents also took me for a ride round the island. It was so much fun and I wish it was longer.

My best friend is Li Ming. We are in the same class.

With the development of economy, there are more and more vehicles on the

streets. Governments at all levels have to do something to solve the problem of

heavy traffic in the city.

I would like to share with you some ideas about this problem: firstly, the

government should build more roads. This action can decrease the degree of

street congestion and make it possible for cars to run faster than ever before.

But each coin has two sides. If a city builds too many roads, the streets will

occupy much land. We will have little space used for other purposes. So

secondly, more special bus lines for public transportation should be added. Thus

people can go conveniently everywhere they like; they will not ride bikes or

drive cars. In this way, the number of cars and bikes on the road will be

greatly cut down.

As far as I am concerned, if we want to solve this problem, we should set

up an idea of public transportation first and give a priority to this idea in

our traffic work.

Saturday My future XXX Everyone has a dream, me too. I want to be a computer programmer. This may be a different dream. There are some important reasons for me to choose this dream. Teenagers like to computer games so much, some even drop out of the class and they hang around the street， going to the Internet bar, and are immerged themselves in the computer games. As we all known, Internet bar is not a good place for teenagers to come. First, there are all kinds of people in that places.It has been reported that many accidents have happened in the Internet bar, some people have fought each other and then cut people, even people died there. It is so dangerous. Second, as the teenagers are so innocent, they may be seduced by some bad people in the Internet bar, the teenagers may be adducted to other places and never come home again.
