I used to be a humble girl, the thing is that I am too humble, I always think that my ability is not good enough, but in fact, I am just not confident. One day, when I went back home after school, my mother asked me to help her, she had some problems with the computer.

I helped her to solve her problems, she said I was so great, I knew so much things.

Until then did I realize that I should be confident, I have ability to do some things. When people give me compliment, I will accept and say thank you, I am confident now. I believe in myself, I won’t be defeated by the difficulty.

曾经我是一个谦虚的女孩子，问题在于我太谦虚了，我总是觉得我的能力不够好，但是事实上，我只是不自信。有一天，在我放学回家的时候，我的妈妈叫我给她帮下忙，她对电脑方面有些问题。我帮助她解决了她的问题，她说我很棒，知道那么多的事情。直到那时我才意识到我应该变得自信，我有能力做很多事情。当人们给予我赞美的时候，我会接受，并且表示感谢，如今我变得自信。我相信自己，不会被困难****。

Young volunteers

Lu Hao is a middle school student in Guizhou, who joined the “1 helps 1” program of the Youth Volunteer Community Development Project last year. Every Tuesday and Friday he visits an old man who lives alone. “Mr. Zhao is weak and cannot do much for himself, so I give him some help. I help do some shopping, do some housework, or read the newspaper to him as his eyesight is not good.” He said.

Meng Yu is studying for her master’s degree in Canada. She has a busy timetable, but still finds time for voluntary activities during the weekends. “Last month I took part in an event to help hungry children in some of the less developed villages. Twenty-two of us went without food for 30 hours! It was a challenge, but we could drink as much as we liked and we had a doctor there, so it was not dangerous. We wanted to improve awareness of hunger because every day children are dying of starvation. It was a great success. The local newspaper and TV reported it and we received many donations.”

Lu Hao, Lin Ying and Meng Yu are all helping to make other people’s lives better. Would you like to make a difference by becoming a volunteer?

Tomb Sweeping Day is on the April 5th every year. Its a day to show our great respect to our deceased ancestors. On that day, we usually sweep the tomb of our ancestors and offer them food and drinks. We also burn paper money to them. It is believed that our ancestors in heaven will receive the money. Besides, everything in our nature takes on a new look on that day, so its the best time for spring outing. It must be fun and relaxing.

I think my teacher got out of bedon the wtong side this afternoon as she hasn’t cries.i went to office saw the boys unhappy.Because the students got their teacher’s goat became they didn’t do their homework..I think this is my teacher unhappy’s cause. Today, I saw a boy ,he played the handset.But didn’t saw the walls so he Rnocked we laugh up our sleeve at he knocked ,but he hurt his norse in the accident, and he was laying it on thick about how painful it was .

It’s also a happy day, isn’t it ?

我认为我的老师今天很不高兴因为她一个下午都没笑过。我到办公室去看到一些男生很不高兴，因为他们的作业没写。我想老师生气就是这个原因。今天，我看见一个男生，他正玩着手机，但是他并没有看到前面有墙，所以他撞了上去，在他撞上去时，我们都窃笑。但是他的鼻子受伤了，他看起来好像很痛苦。

今天也是快乐的一天，不是吗？
