再看人们的住房已不再是破旧的土窑洞了，而是换成了清一色的瓦房，有的人家甚至建起了小二楼，到了亲戚家再看看家里，液晶电视、电脑、空调……现代化电器应有尽有，院子里还停上了小汽车。你再瞧园子里黄瓜、豆角、芹菜都是绿色无公害蔬菜，苹果高兴地乐红了脸，梨儿换上了美丽的黄纱裙，小葡萄披上紫袍来凑热闹，石榴妹妹看到这丰收的景象，也笑的咧开了嘴。

这就是我的家乡，新时代，新农村，新面貌！

When I was very small, I stayed in the hometown with my grandparents. I had the great time there, I liked the environment so much. There was a long river in front of my house, the water was very clean, I could see the small fish swim. My grandma usually washed her clothes along the river side. But now when I went back to my hometown, the river was very dirty, the water was light yellow and there were so many rubbish floating in the river. It made me feel that the river had lost its life. I missed the old time when I was playing in the river. It is human being that ruin the environment, if we don’t take action to protect it, we will destroy ourselves.

我有一身绿色、修长的身子使我感到骄傲，尖尖的头成为我报春的工具，让人类感受到春的气息。我的伙伴同我一起扬起绿色的旗帜，为大地披上绿色的新装，为春撒播下一片绿色的欢笑。

从前，我无忧无虑地生活在乡下的田野间，追逐着头顶飞来旋去的小鸟，滋润在杨柳风的吹拂下，与同伴在阳光的沐浴下歌唱着。一年又一年，终于有一天，平静幸福的生活结束了，度过的春夏秋冬化为虚无，融化在一声长鸣的汽笛中。

有一天，在我的身边停下了一辆大货车，一个蓝领衣走了下来，从车上拿出一把铲子，将我的一大片同伴和我一起“扶”上了车厢，我们等待着命运的驱使和鞭策。

“隆隆，隆隆……”，我们被带到了一个笼罩着污浊的大城市。也许，我们的到来，为的是点缀这个郁闷的环境。我们被移植到了公园的湖边。我的落脚点最可悲，竟然是在死去即将腐烂的一只蝌蚪身边。那只可怜的蝌蚪身上时不时发出恶臭，熏得我喘不过气来。但我努力反抗着，摇晃着身子招呼人们，来除去它。

一根城里草打着哈欠，昂起头来招招我，“喂，兄弟，你是从东边来的吧？”“对呀！”“哎呀，你可来错地儿了！”“我怎么了！”“这儿的人类，不可救药呀！”我听了，心底发出一声叹息，有一丝哀伤掠过眼前……

我的家乡在远方，那里有山有水有风光，但这个城市，房屋覆盖了一切，也污染了一切。惟有我们孤独的存在，稍微渲染了一点希望，其他的一切都在凄凉中“欢乐”。

这时候，走来一个小男孩，大概心情不好，用手无情地地蹂躏着同伴们柔弱的身体。我被他踩到了，生命剩下最后一刻，奄奄一息却不断挣扎。夕阳西下，也就在此时，我生命的余辉暗淡了……渐渐地，消失了。我的灵魂化为一首无言的歌，飘荡在草原上，“我的家乡在远方，那里有山有水风光好……”

Every year, the thing I expect the most is the Spring Festival. My parents

work far from home and they come back one or two times a year. The Spring

Festival is the time they come home. Every time they come back, they bring mangy

things to me. When I was little, they bought me toys, new clothes and shoes.

Now, they often buy me books. They say more reading is good for me. They hope I

can learn more. The time spend with them is always happy but short. They only

have half a month at home. I hope they can stay at home longer.
