Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

夜幕很快就降临了，我们守候在餐桌前，看着爸爸和大伯端上来的一道道美味佳肴，这里面有香气四溢的酥鱼，肥而不腻的红烧肉，也有酸甜可口的糖醋里脊和糖醋排骨，还有鲜辣美味的多椒鱼头，令人目不暇接，看着看着，肚子以“咕咕”的唱起了交响曲，闲话不多说，我们开吃了，先尝一尝香气四溢的酥鱼，在喝一喝鲜辣美味的多椒鱼头，我和哥哥吃着一碗又一碗的米饭，这可不是应为我们胃口大，只能怪精心准备的饭菜太好吃了。虽然我肚子里已经装不下了，但我嘴巴里还在嚼着，没办法，因此，我只好忍痛割爱。哎！这也就是没有办法的办法。至于红包嘛！早已在之前，钻进了我的口袋里。

吃完了年夜饭，可肚子也随之大了起来，现在要放鞭炮了，哥哥带来的鞭炮，可谓就是五花八门，其中，有火炬模样的，有那种一长串的，也有航天火箭似的，还有像老虎的，我们拿出一小部分鞭炮，把导火线点燃，过了一会儿，“砰，碰，噼里啪啦”

鞭炮炸开了花，响声如雷，颜色五彩缤纷，形态各异，有的好似美利达圣火，有的仿佛就是金黄色的流星，还有的像运河边上那翠绿的垂柳，真可谓就是刘姥姥进了大观园——眼花缭乱。在这一阵阵爆竹声，我不禁想到了这句诗：“爆竹声中一岁除，新春送暖入屠舒”。

然而，此时此刻，龙年的脚步已经临近了，龙年的钟声即将敲响······

寒假就要结束了，在这28天的寒假里，我收获了很多，也过的很快乐，就在那天大年三十，家家都买齐了烟花 爆竹，准备好了年夜饭，等着过新年。

这一天到临了，我早早的起了床，和舅舅弟弟舅妈去买好了鞭炮，我很兴奋，到了买鞭炮的店里，我们精心挑选了很多鞭炮，和一些小的，店主说给你们打个折吧，那些小鞭炮的钱就免了，我们买了四个大的，没想到居然花了2000多元，这令我震惊了。

回到家，吃完中饭，外婆就开始准备年夜饭了，眼看外婆从街上买了许许多多的吃的，有鱼有虾有蔬菜，还有油炸食品，看样子就口水直流。恨不得早点把这些吃的秒速干完。

吃年夜饭的时间到了，可是外公还没有回来，可能是因为有事吧。我们就等了外公十来分钟，可是他还没有回来，我就等不及了，急忙吃了起来，嗯…不错不错。尝尝这鱼，尝尝这肉，尝尝这虾的。外公终于回来了，我们在位置上坐了下来，打开饮料马上吃了起来。大家都吃的津津有味，吃完年夜饭，就到了最有兴趣的时间了，“放鞭炮”。

舅舅把鞭炮搬到了家门口，用打火机点燃导线。兹兹兹……只听见导线燃烧的声音，过了一会儿。“砰”的一声只见烟花窜上天空，“啪”一声巨响，接着发出了几百声这样的声响。我们看着烟花，心里乐嘻嘻的。之后到了7：30时我们看了春节联欢会，还一边在手机里抢着红包。

这回寒假的春节我们过的很快乐，希望下次寒假也能像这回这么快乐。

上个周末，我陪著妈妈去逛街，在市场边的宠物店里，有一只小白兔吸引了我的目光。我不禁回想起以前那段美好的时光，依稀记得那个时候是秋天，爸爸带我们去逛夜市，摊贩们卖著琳琅满目的小东西，让我看得眼花撩乱！无意中，我发现有人在卖小动物，并苦苦哀求妈妈让我饲养，后来妈妈无可奈何只好答应让我买一只小兔子。第二天，我和弟弟绞尽脑汁，一直想小兔子的名字该叫什麼 看著它一身雪白毛色，而且摸起来很柔软，后来决定叫它「柔柔」。

从那时开始我每天帮柔柔倒便便，带它去散步。有时还帮它按摩，对它唱歌。有一次，我们和往常一样带柔柔去散步，发现它好像在做什麼，便往前一看，哇！它在挖洞耶！这可是他第一次挖洞，我赶快跑回家拿著相机帮他拍照，留作纪念。还有一次，妈妈带我去买菜，我买了三条红萝卜回家，放到笼子里面，它像好几天没吃东西一样，一直啃，而且吃得嘴巴都红红的，好像涂了口红似的，让我看了捧腹大笑。

过了一个月，它突然一直拉肚子，本来以为只是普通的吃坏肚子，没想到情况越来越恶化，我心急如焚，决定在第二天带它去看兽医；但就在隔天柔柔离开了我们，死去了，知道这个恶耗，我的心情顿时跌到谷底，抱著妈妈痛哭，后来我跟弟弟就做了一个坟墓来哀悼它。

现在想一想这已经是四年前的事了，但是我依旧很怀念那段跟柔柔相处的甜蜜时光！后来我又饲养了一只和柔柔一模一样的小白兔，但它永远无法替代曾经带给我快乐欢笑的柔柔。

想着小时候我的节水故事，我不由地乐了。可正在这时，“哗啦啦”的水声从厨房里传了出来，我十分好奇，连忙跑过去看，原来是奶奶在淘米呢。只见水龙头开得大大的，那清澈的自来水哗啦啦地流入下水管道。我冲上去，一把就将水龙头关小了。奶奶纳闷地看着我：“干什么?我在淘米呢!”我耐心地解释道：“我在节约用水呢。淘米时，水可以关小些;淘米后的水还可以用来洗菜、浇花，一举两得哦。”奶奶用湿漉漉地手指点了点我的鼻子，笑着点点头。我端过淘米水，倒在院子里的树根下，还给树旁边的月季花浇了些。一阵风儿吹过，粉红的花儿轻轻摇动，仿佛在对我说：“谢谢你，小铠鋆!”

水是人类不可缺少的资源。节约用水，从此时此刻开始，从每个人做起!我不希望，最后一滴水是我们人类的眼泪。

父母的爱有时候像丝丝细雨，那么的轻柔，细腻，含着浓浓的深情。

记得有一次，天气下雨。我刚刚放学，就看见雨雾中熟悉的身影。啊，是爸爸，我连忙跑过去。他骑着自行车来接我，他看见我只穿着一件运动衣时，立刻脱下自己身上的衬衫给我穿上，自己只穿着单薄的背心。

顿时，就像有一股暖流进入我的心田。自行车在雨中前进。无情的雨点抽打着爸爸的身体。我把小手放在爸爸冰凉的胳膊上，闭上眼睛深深的祝愿：雨啊，请你不要落了，风啊，请你不要刮了，不要伤害爸爸那颗爱我的心！

父母有时候像大还，宽广，深沉，容约着我的教育和关怀。记得有一次，我开始得了让人惊讶的分数—100分。我那天在学校里有着兴高彩烈的心情。回到了家，我得以洋洋地把这份消息公司了妈妈，我以为她很高兴，但出乎了我的意料。只是用严肃的口吻说：“我不喜欢你的傲气，刚刚有了点成绩就翘起尾巴，儿子你要记住天外有天啊！”是的，我没有忘记，没有忘记她那深沉的声音和严肃的教诲。

一次，我正在写作业，学习桌的旁边有一个钉子，我没有看见，不小心地划了一下，我痛地直叫，父母赶忙跑过来看，看他们的样子，非常着急，急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，我却不知好歹地哭个不停，父母安慰着我，我还是哭个不停，父母没有办法，从这边走到那边，想不出一个办法，过了五分钟，父亲从医药柜找来了一瓶药水，给我抹在手指上，痛得我像要去天堂一样，母亲按住我，是有力地按住我，我却用力地挣扎着，啊！药水终于抹完了，我不哭了，父母也去干自己爱干的事情了，我又放心地写作业了。

在每个人的成长过程中，都难免会有着各种各样的烦恼。而我的烦恼是什么呢？就是学业上所给予我的犹如大山一样的沉重的压力。

在成长路上，我真的很想知道我的“周末”和“快乐”到底都哪去了？

我有一个小小的心愿，为了这个心愿，我曾努力过数回，曾梦想过，曾奢求过。可从未达成，我多么期望能满足啊!

前段时间大家班上举行了有趣的表演，看着陆欣怡、刘江南、陈慧颖的精彩表演，我陶醉极了!便产生了想拿着小提琴在全班演奏一番的小小愿望。妈妈问我为何?在其它场所不是也可以表演吗?我说：“我很想，我想展示一下，我想做音符，给班级带来开心的音符。”妈妈见我掷地有声，就说：“那就看你自身的表现喽!”

从那天开始，我愈加努力了。在练琴时虽然胳膊很酸，腿很累，可是心里一直想：记住自身说过的话!坚持下去;有时，会碰到其它弦上，弄出很刺耳的声音。我想必须要跨出第一步，就是战胜自身，然后再不断的超越!

假如有一天，这个小小的心愿达成了。我会站在台前，闭上双眼，拉出一首又一首动听的乐曲，在音乐声中可以与同学们交流，还可以想起以前的点点滴滴;会觉得付出的一切都是那样的有意义!就算不可以在班上演奏，我也不会失望，我要立志考级，满怀信心地比赛。这样，做好自身是的!明天也会愈加辉煌，愈加灿烂!

I’m Li Hua from Class One, Senior Two. As far as I am concerned, I believe to teach English for pupils from Chen Xi Hope School will be good for both the primary-school students and high-school student tutor, which thus will result in substantial social benefits.

People are enjoying the comfortable life of the modern civilization,

meanwhile, they are also experiencing more and more competitions and suffering

much more stress than before.With the tremendous rhythm of living imposed by

todays world, it isnt unusual for people to feel tired and to try to evade from

the daily problems and stress. I think that there is no magic way that is

appliable to every one of us, and proves itself the most efficient method of

escaping stress. Each man has his specific activities that help him regain the

joy of life. For me the best activities to reduce stress and to forget about

problems are sleeping,playing football, going on a short vacation to the

countryside, attending live performances and spending time with my friends and

with my family.

First and foremost, sufficient sleep, needless to say, is indispensable for

each person, especially those encountering difficulties and suffering enormous

stress. There is no denying that sleep could bring the body sufficient rest,

modulate the function of each organ and release the body from stressful status.

Whats more, sufficient sleep would enable the brain operate more swiftly and

efficiently, thus making us more energetic to handle difficulties. Therefore,

not only could sleep loose the fatigue of the physical body, but also release

the mental stress.

What is more, I think that family is the most important thing in a mans

life. They are always there when you need them. Family provides support when you

need it most, helps you go through the difficult moments of your life.The most

important of all, their love for you gives you confidence in yourself, and makes

your life easier and a lot more beautiful. Friends also have an important role,

because you can evade from concerns by going out with them, talking about things

that are not related to your work, and sharing with them your problems and your

acheivements.

Recently, more and more colleges and universities have realized the importance of creating green campus, it has become a new trend throughout the country.

So, what do you mean when we refer to green campus? On the one hand, the protection of environment is necessary, there is no denying the fact that this is the premise of the concept. On the other hand, it is not enough to meet the overall goals of green campus simply maintain green environment. On the contrary, it also requires all the staff and our common efforts, the students positive culture construction.

Therefore, in order to create green campus, first, it is necessary, everyone thinks of our own host campus, and to realize green enlightenment brings us a house. 寒假的一天

It was a very busy evening, I was doing my homework at my home. My father

was writing a composition in the study room. My mother was interested in

Shanghai opera. She was watching a Shanghai opera contest. The apartment was

very quiet. Suddenly the light went out. It was a blackout, but I liked it very

much. It came and I didnt have to do my homework. We went to the living room

very slowly.

After 5 minutes, we all sat in the sofa. It was a lucky, fortunate day. I

said that lets held a concert. My parents agreed with me. I took out some

candles and lighted up. We were singing, laughing and talking. We had a really

good time. But while I was singing, the light suddenly turned on. Oh, my God. My

father went back to his room went on writing.

My mother turned on the TV and said to me “Dear, do your homework!” I felt

very frustrated. I sat at the desk and thought I hated light. I hoped there

would be a blackout the ne_t day. I thought I would enjoy myself more and more.

I went into a dream.

In the study, I learned a lot, especially reading, writing, math can get the teachers praise, so in the summer vacation, my study is full of harvest, I to learn reading and writing more confident.

小队活动中，我去了污水处理厂、滨海的向日葵基地、十里荷塘、袍江的国家电网公司，我在实践中学到了很多课外知识，受益匪浅，同时也增进了同学之间的友谊。

Group activities, I went to the ten sewage treatment plant, the sunflower base, pond, Paojiang China State Grid Corp, I learned a lot in practice of extra-curricular knowledge, benefit, but also enhance the friendship between the students.

这个暑期，我收获很多，我觉得过了一个有意义的假期。

迷人的秋天来了。远处的山上一片片红红的，就像夜晚的彩灯，闪烁着五光十色的光芒。啊！原来是一片火红的枫林。 田野里稻谷·玉米成熟了，一片金黄。沉甸甸的谷穗子·玉米棒压弯了腰。一阵秋风吹来，起伏的稻浪在微风中翻起了层层波浪。

大树的叶子随风飘落。有红色的，有黄色的，像一群彩色的蝴蝶在翩翩起舞。地上的小草也黄了，像给大地铺上了一层金色的地毯，软软的，可舒服啦！草地上还盛开着很多五颜六色的野菊花，有红的，有黄的，白色的等等。边上还有一串红在开放，一朵朵小巧玲珑的红花，像一个个小铃铛，仿佛你轻轻一碰，就会叮当作响。 果园里，树上挂满了果实，红彤彤的苹果像一个个小姑娘的笑脸，金灿灿的梨像一个个金色的铃铛，黄澄澄的柿子像一个个灯笼高挂枝头，亮晶晶的葡萄像黑珍珠般透出诱人的色彩，真想摘下来尝一口。

秋天是多彩的，秋天是金色的，秋天是丰收的季节。我爱秋天！

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the

books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was

very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends

during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in

the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival

party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the

thing most people of china doing at that time.that’s all, all my dull, coldly

and snowy winter vacation.

四川凉山木里这个地名在2019年响彻整个中国，牵动整个中国人民的心。 The place name of Liangshan Muri, Sichuan sounded throughout China in 2019, affecting the hearts of the entire Chinese people.

2019年3月30日17时，四川省凉山州木里县境内发生森林火灾，紧急组织消防队员赶赴前线扑火。3月31日下午扑火行动中，突发森林爆燃，31名扑火人员失联。4月1日找到了，可找回来的一具具的尸体。

4月1日是愚人节，我多么希望那天的新闻报告也沉浸在愚人节的气氛中，与全国人民开了个玩笑，可这是真的，31条鲜活的生命、31名铮铮铁骨的英雄被恶魔般的大火吞噬掉。我的心揪着痛。哀伤在心中翻滚，一股灼热袭击面部，眼睛里噙满了泪水。多么可惜呀!

看着网上发出他们的照片，他们多么的年轻，浑身充满着阳刚之气。可是一场无情的大火却夺走了他们。

这场无情的大火夺走了31条好汉，也让31个家庭支离破碎，同时也牵动着千千万万人的心。我的泪水早已模糊了双眼，任凭泪滴答滴答的往下流。

看似平静的生活，其实暗波涌动。火灾、地震、暴力事件等。在我们社会上层出不穷，而我们总觉得那是新闻、报纸上、网上说的，离我们很远，其实并不是这样的，当灾难危险来临时，总有人替我们挡着，把灾难危险扛下，留给我们是祥和平静的生活。岁月静好，只是有人替我们负重前行。

谁都不是生来要当挡箭牌的。可危险来临时，如果我们都不管不顾，自顾自己的生命，自己的亲人。那么殃及的将是我们整个人类了。所以，在这时候，总有一些人挺身而出，或许是信仰，使命，责任让他们担此大任。在灾难危险来临时，他们不是在工作，而是用命在赌，每次执行任务，都是站在生与死的边缘。我想他们也恐惧、也害怕，最主要的是不舍，舍不得儿女那一声奶声奶气的“爸爸”;舍不得妻子离别时那温柔而又不舍的眼神;舍不得父母用乡音那一声呼唤的乳名;舍不得余生……但他们不去，谁去呀?穿上那身威武的军装，就要担此大任，为了人民的生命，人民的利益，为了那一个温馨的家庭。

他们不畏生死，与大火作战;跟一场场的余震斗争;与歹徒较量……

呼一声“英雄”轻之又轻，他们用生命为我们铸造了和平盛世，让我们如何感激他们?英雄，一路走好，我会永远记住你们!
