The first day for me to go to high school, I felt so excited, because I came into the new stage of my life. The school asked the students to live in the dormitory, so I had to move out and left my parents. This was such a big challenge for me, because I never left home before. I needed to learn to be independent, what’s more, I also learned to get along with others. High school was like a little society for me and I handed the problems well. The First Day in High School

Today was the first day of my new life. I looked at my new books and checked everything for the new school year. I was excited as well as worried.

今天是我新生活的第一天，我翻看我的新课本，检查了新学年的一切。我既激动又担心。

Entering new school, I was curious about everything, new classrooms, new teachers, new classmates etc. It would be a new start for each student. And what I was worried about is that I had no friends here. I wondered if no liked to play with me. Were the teachers strict with students?

进入新的学校，我对所有事情都很好奇，新的教室，新的老师，新的同学等等。这对每个学生来说都是一个新的开始。我所担心的是在这没有朋友。我想知道是不是没有人喜欢和我玩。老师对学生是不是很严厉？

I fell relaxed when the teacher asked me, What else could I help you, freshman?". I found that the teachers were kind and polite, and the classmates around me were friendly. He wanted to play with me, but I didnt know how to play, so he taught me patiently, and we played happily.

Whatever one does, one should do it with confidence. If one has no confidence, there is little possibility that one would ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships. This troth seems to be self-evident. However, in reality we do see a lot of people who complain that they lack the ability to do ,something or that their difficulties are too great to be overcome,For someone, this might be true. But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart.

Why do people often feel frustrated even though they are capable of doing some thing? There are, among others, two main reasons. First, these people do not have a correct estimate of themselves. Second, they overestimate the difficulties.

It is passible to build up faith in oneself by having the right attitude towards ones own abilities. We should never underesrimate our abilities but should believe in the proverb: "Where there is a will, there is a way." Confidence is the promise for fulfilling a task successfully.
