life as a university student. but all this time, i have been missing you and my

our university lies at the foot of mount zijin, in the eastern suburbs of

nanjing city. the campus is very big,with a big sportsground surrounded by lots

and the well-equipped language lab. our campus is also very beautiful. there are

quite a few well-kept gardens. every road is lined with trees. how happy we are

to study in such an enviromnent!

life here is both busy and coloufful. we have classes every morning. in the

occupied most of the week. but on weekends, there are always many

A tree has three main parts, the roots, the branches and the leaves. Under

the ground, the roots spread out so that the tree can stand firm. Above the

ground, the roots form the trunk, and the trunk supports the branches.

Near the top of the tree, the trunk divides into branches. At the top of

the tree, the leaves grow out of the branches. the leaves receive sunlight to

help the whole tree grow.

Though I was born in an ordinary family, I live the happy life. My parents

will stand by my side when I meet trouble, especially my mother. She will cook a

lot of delicious food, so I am so excited to come back home from school. I know

my mother has prepared great food for me. What a great happiness for me.

As a small kid, I want to grow up soon, so that I can be independent. But

the adults always tell me that it is a lucky thing to be a child, because I can

be young and innocent. Though I don’t understand their words totally, I must

keep my young heart and enjoy every moment of my life.
