An essential quality for young people is diligence.Nowdays,the issue on the

most important personal quality of young people is highly debatable,and ideas

vary from peerson to person. Some would claim that confidence is the most

essential. But for my part,the most essential quality for young people is

diligence that helps us a lot.

Diligence enables us to academic results. As we all know,academic results

我还大致记得父亲那时的装束，一件铁灰色的制服已洗的发了白，脚上一双老式圆头皮鞋起了不少褶皱，父亲总说皮子好，舍不得换掉。倒是与父亲同行的那个年轻销售人员，衣着光鲜，腆着肚子，像个领导似的，而父亲顶多像个村干部！

安顿好后，父亲对我俩说：“坐了一宿的车，都累了，你俩休息吧！我去买票（给我办中转签字），中午回来，下午再出去办事。”

父亲走后，我倒头就睡下了，待到被父亲同事推醒已中午十分，但父亲还没有回来，我有些着急，因为买票用不了一上午呀！

父亲同事像是了解父亲似的说：“你父亲肯定去办事去了，不用着急，咱们先去吃饭。”

下午等了很久，父亲还没有回来，我几次下一楼传达室，盼望父亲打来电话，然而几次铃声响，喊得都不是我们。我有些忐忑不安了。

二月末的沈阳天黑的早，刚五点多钟外面就朦朦胧胧的了，从旅社的窗户往街上望去，风吹的光秃秃的树枝摇来晃去，低沉的灰云好象岩石要砸下来，骑自行车的上班族匆忙地赶回温暖的家门。

每一辆公交车停下时，我都渴望出现父亲的身影，但我失望了，只有蜂拥上下车的人群。我隐隐有一种担心，父亲会不会有什么意外？……

晚饭时，父亲的同事特意点了两个好菜，若在平时我一定会狼吞虎咽的，但那天我却没有食欲，只吃了几口。父亲的同事依旧满不在乎地说：“不用担心，你父亲一定有事耽搁了，没事的……”话虽如此，但我的心还是悸悸的。

就在我们走出餐厅的时候，我几乎与一个人撞了个满怀，我定睛一看，正是满心惦记着的父亲，我不由自主地扑向了父亲，父亲也伸出了双臂把我紧紧搂在怀里，我第一次感觉到父亲是那样的亲切,父亲的胸膛是那么温暖……

很快，父亲松开了他的手，我也感觉有些不好意思，毕竟有好多人看着呢！

这时我才看见腾腾的热汗从父亲的头上冒出来，父亲的脸上挂满了歉意的笑容。

父亲先问我们是不是等着急了，然后急切地道出了原委，原来父亲买完票，时间还早，就想就近办些公事，但事情远没有他想得那么顺利，办完事已是下午三、四点钟，中间往旅社打过电话，但没有通，不知是记错了号码还是别的原因。最糟糕的是回来时坐错了车，父亲又舍不得打出租，公交车倒来倒去的时间就耽搁了。

父亲接着说：“赶紧准备一下去车站，时间不多了，我给你买了一只烧鸡，留着路上吃……”烧鸡，在八十年代我的眼中可是天下第一美味呀！父亲这样慷慨大方的时候可不多哟！

天已整个黑下来，小贩零星的吆喝透着初春的寒意，稀疏的灯火下，我看见不到五十岁的父亲已鬓发半白。我突然感觉鼻子酸酸的，我努力着不让眼泪流下来，回转身径直上了车。

路上，灯火渐渐辉煌起来，我仿佛觉得我孤独的前程也不再那么暗淡……

Spring Festival is my favorite among all the Chinese traditional festival.

The first reason why I love it the most is because I can get lucky money on that

festival. It is the Chinese custom that the old will give children lucky money

on Spring Festival to wish a good luck for the young generation. Moreover,

people everywhere on those days are full of happiness. Quarrel, fight and abuse

are almost disappeared at that time. Meanwhile, my mother will make a big meal

for us to celebrate. Everyone will forget the unhappy thing they meet, instead

remembering to appreciate life to wish a better future. That is my favorite

festival.

In recent years, the global warming gets increasingly attention. More and

more people make contribution to stop the global warming. Therefore, a new

lifestyle occurs--low carbon life. What can we do to live in low carbon?

First, remember to turn off lights and turn off the faucet when you do not

need to use. Use the energy-saving lamps. There are many small things we can do

to save resources. Second, when we go out, take public transport as much as

possible, to reduce gas emissions and to ease the transporting pressures.

All in all, there are many other things we can do to live in the low carbon

life. It needs us to do something practically. If everyone can keep this

lifestyle from now on, it will greatly change the situation and our home would

become more beautiful.
