Mid-autumn day is a special festival in China, which is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. It falls on the 15th day of Augustlunar month every year. Our Chinese will celebrate it on that day. I think there are not too many people can reject the temptation of it. I like this festival very much. I have two reasons.

First of all, Mid-autumn has the deep meaning of reunion. In China, people regard Mid-autumn day as very important, so no matter where they are, they will come back to their family if there is a chance. They don’t like celebrate this festival outside, which will make them feel lonely. Thus, they will go home by all means. Luckily, the government also pays great attention to this traditional festival. There are laws tomake sure people have holidays on that special day. In the other word, mid-autumn festival gives a chance for family get together.

Secondly, every family will prepare a big meal on that day. All the food is delicious. It is good to have a big meal. I think nobody will not interested in delicious food. The mooncake is a necessary decoration forMid-autumn day. It tastes good, too. It is the tradition for a long time. How pleased to enjoy the glorious full moon with mooncake!

This is why I love Mid-autumn festival so much.

The stage of college is the new chapter for students. They need to learn

practical experience can’t be ignored if they want to start their career

Being freshmen, many students start to lose themselves as they just want to

enjoy the freedom and forget about study when they come to campus. But some wise

students have made their plans. They not only spend a lot of time in library,

but also fulfill their time by taking practical experience, which will be a

great help in future career. We are easy to find that the successful young men

have started their career as they are students.

In the job market, most employers care about the practical experience when

they look at the resumes. They want this type of graduates because they can

spend less time to teach them get familiar with the new environment, which can

improve the working efficiency. If students want to take advantages over others

in the job market, then they’d better seek some internship.

Shen Fang is a primary school teacher. She teaches Chinese in a fourth

grade class. She helps the boys and girls read and write. Her classes are

interesting, and the children all love her.

Shen Fang gets to school at half past seven in the morning, half an hour

before classes begin. At luch she eats together with her pupils.

After class she corrects their home work. She leaves school at six. She is

busy with her work all the day, because she loves teaching children.

Sea pollution is becoming an increasing problem for our planet and we have

a responsibility to reduce sea pollution.

I need to describe the problem. Our ship currently dumps all its rubbish

into the sea.Its easy to result in huge endanger. First of all, Non-organic

substances such as plastic bags kill fish and whales. Because fish get trapped

and whales cannot digest them. Secondly some rubbish is inherently toxic.

I can suggest some solutions. First and foremost we can create a better

system of disposing of rubbish for instance. We ought to store rubbish. Next, we

are supposed to make ships environmentally and friendly. A case in point is that

we should stop providing plastic bags.

We must act now before it is too late!

Once， when I was a teenager， my father and I were standing in line to buy tickets for the circus. Finally， there was only one family between us and the ticket counter.

This family made a big impression on me. There were eight children， all probably under the age of 12. You could tell they didnt have a lot of money.

Their clothes were not expensive， but they were clean. The children were well-behaved， all of them standing in line， two-by-two behind their parents， holding hands. They were excitedly jabbering about the clowns， elephants， and other acts they would see that night.

One could sense they had never been to the circus before. It promised to be a highlight of their young lives. The father and mother were at the head of the pack， standing proud as could be.

The mother was holding her husbands hand， looking up at him as if to say， "Youre my knight in shining armor."

He was smiling and basking in pride， looking back at her as if to reply， "You got that right."

The ticket lady asked the father how many tickets he wanted. He proudly responded， "Please let me buy eight childrens tickets and two adult tickets so I can take my family to the circus."

The ticket lady quoted the price. The mans wife let go of his hand， her head dropped， and his lip began to quiver. The father leaned a little closer and asked， "How much did you say?"

The ticket lady again quoted the price. The man didnt have enough money.

How was he supposed to turn and tell his eight kids that he didn‘t have enough money to take them to the circus? Seeing what was going on， my dad put his hand in his pocket， pulled out a $20 bill and dropped it on the ground. (We were not wealthy in any sense of the word!)

It is known to all that China has the history of more than 5,000 years and

the culture influences generations. No matter where people live, they keep the

traditional festivals. Such as the people who live in Chinatown. Though some of

them have been immigrants, they still celebrate the traditional festivals. So in

every corner of Chinatown, the Chinese traditional features can be seen

everywhere. The preservation of the traditional culture is the key to help the

country live so long. After the long period of time, the essence of the culture

part have been inherited while the negative part has been removed. Many culture

even influences the foreign country, such as Confucius Institution, where

foreigners learn Chinese culture and mandarin. Though we are facing the impact

of Hollywood culture, the traditional festivals provides an important way to

save local culture.

One day the sun and the wind had a quarrel.The sun said he was stronger

than the wind.And the wind said he was stronger than the sun.Just then they saw

official holiday. Tomb-sweeping Day is one of the meaningful festivals. People

have days’ off every year and the families will get together, sweeping their

ancestors’ tombs. People believe that they do this can bring good luck, because

their ancestors will bless them. Some people question the meaning of this

festival, because they think people are superstitious. As for me, I think this

day teaches people to in honor of their ancestors and respect the culture. It is

not something about superstition, but about showing respect to the culture. We

need to pass on our culture from generations, or we will lose our national

treasure.

ChengDu is a wonderful place located in Sichuan province.This city is well

decorated and designed which attrects lots of tourists every year.

Chengdu has large amounts of tourist spots such as Wangjiang Park,Dujiang

Dam and so on.Such spots are all easy to get and they dont cost much.Whatmore

,with the rapidly developing economy,Chengdu has become an international

metropolis.

Recently, global warming has become a hot topic among people. It results

from serious air pollution. As the environmental pollution is more and more

strict, the temperature of all the world has dramatic increased. Gradually, some

disaster such as drought, floodandGlaciers Melting follow. How terrible it is!

Therefore, we need to protect our earth and fight against the disaster

together.We should start from the trivial side. Making contribution to

protecting our home.

When we are little, we are eager to grow up, so that we can break free of

My summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable。 I went to the

grandparents. On New Years Eve,family always have a big dinner. Everybody are

watch TV and talk. In the midnight,there usually fairworks. On New Years

Day,people usually put on their new clothes and visit their femily and friends.

They usually say:"Happy New Years Day. " The Spring Festival finishes at the

Lantern Festival after two weeks. People usually eat a kind of rice dumpling

called yuanxiao. It can take people good luck all the year round.

I think Mid-Autumn Day is an old traditional festival in China。 Everybody

likes it because its a family get-together。 You see it is called"Mid-Autumn

Day"， so it often es in September or October。 It is on the 15th of the 8th of

the lunar month。 Now， lets say something about this interesting festival。

Firstly， Id like to say something about the moon。 I like it very much

because I want to be an astronaut in the future。 That day the moon is round，

big， just like a beautiful plate hanging on the blue cloth。 When I see the moon，

I will remember the ancient myths——the godess Chang Er and her little rabbit are

playing under the tree which Wu Gang grows。 I will also think about Armstrongs

first moonwalk。 I will also miss the friends in Tai-wan island， in Macao and

Chinese people who are abroad。 I know they are missing us very much， too。

Secondly， I11 say something about the tradition on Mid-Autumn Day。

Look!Theres a big tree in a garden of a Chinese fami-ly。 All the family members

are sitting around a big table under the tree in the open air。 They are eating

the mooncakes and admiring the full moon in the sky。 That is a family reunion

dinner。 The mooncakes and the moon represent the love from a family。 I think

this is one of the most valuable things in the world。

Thirdly，it is a very good opportunity to make three wishes on Mid-Autumn

Day。 My wishes are: the first， I， an astronaut in the future， would like to go

to the moon one day， and stay with the sky and stars; the second， I hope every

person in the world will stay with family， share love from the family forever;

the third， I hope everybodys dream will e true。

That is the Mid-Autumn Day in my mind。 I will always re-member: East or

West， home is best。

听爷爷奶奶讲小时候的我，父母为了让我学会走路，便在一边满脸欢喜的对我说：“宝贝，走过来，妈妈抱。”为了得到这样的一个拥抱!自己鼓足劲坚决的走了过去。
