初中快毕业时，我得了急性阑尾炎，待割掉阑尾，大约耽误了半个月的功课，成绩下滑了许多，但考取高中应该不成问题，可巧那年技校开始允许应届生报考，我就动了这个念头。渴望着到外面闯荡一番，至于后面的结果，根本想不到那么远。父亲起初不同意，架不住我软磨硬泡，终于民主了一回。

事后证明我这次的选择是错误的，许多成绩不如我的同学后来都上了大学，现在工作比我体面风光。然而人生的路就是这样，你永远不会知道明天会发生什么！命运不会永远给你幸运，也不会永远给你挫折，只要你不自甘堕落！

寒假快返校时，父亲正好有一个与我顺路出差的机会，我要在沈阳倒车，父亲要去沈阳办事。父亲那时是一家贸易公司的经理，出差是经常的，这次要办的事不是太急，早几天晚几天都行，为了送我一程，就迁就了我返校的日子，也算一次小小的假公济私吧！

与我们同行的还有一位供销人员，那天早晨我们在沈阳老北站下的车，匆忙地在站前小饭馆吃了口饭，随后我们坐了很长时间的公共汽车到了于洪区（郊区），找了家小旅馆住了下来，父亲说：“这里住宿便宜！”父亲就是这样，一贯地节俭，不管对私还是对公，若有个节俭大赛什么的，父亲肯定能得冠军。

父亲走后，我倒头就睡下了，待到被父亲同事推醒已中午十分，但父亲还没有回来，我有些着急，因为买票用不了一上午呀！

父亲同事像是了解父亲似的说：“你父亲肯定去办事去了，不用着急，咱们先去吃饭。”

下午等了很久，父亲还没有回来，我几次下一楼传达室，盼望父亲打来电话，然而几次铃声响，喊得都不是我们。我有些忐忑不安了。

二月末的沈阳天黑的早，刚五点多钟外面就朦朦胧胧的了，从旅社的窗户往街上望去，风吹的光秃秃的树枝摇来晃去，低沉的灰云好象岩石要砸下来，骑自行车的上班族匆忙地赶回温暖的家门。

每一辆公交车停下时，我都渴望出现父亲的身影，但我失望了，只有蜂拥上下车的人群。我隐隐有一种担心，父亲会不会有什么意外？……

As is known to all food is a priority for the common people. Recently

however reports about food problems have often been seen in the newspapers

showing that people have always been concerned about what they eat every day.
