Some students think it is important for students to wear uniforms because school uniforms can not only show good discipline but also make us look more active. 另外一位没有放弃理想的历史人物就是爱迪生。这位科学家，决定了要研发电灯，便花了三年时间来做几万次实验，还用了几千种不同材料才成功造成新的电灯。在这过程中，爱迪生为了鼓励自己便作出几句说话，其中有一些成了现在的名言。“我没有失败，我只是找到一万种行不通的方法”便是他其中一句名言。

中国著名作家鲁迅曾经都有个理想，他希望能够拯救中华民族，有这个理想的时候，以为救国的方法是通过救人民疾苦，所以鲁迅向学医的想法发展。他最终发现人民的疾苦不是国家的问题，而是人民的本质，所以他改用文学拯救国家。鲁迅弃医，开始写作，唤醒百姓良心，最终实现了理想。

世间没有不劳已获的成果，要成功实现理想，便要艰苦努力，运用正确的方法和建立明确的目标，理想便能成功。

有人曾经说过：“目标决定你成为什么人。”贝多芬的理想决定他为一位音乐家，爱迪生的理想决定他为一位发明家，鲁迅的理想决定他为一位拯救国家的一位作家。

人有理想，便要为它而坚持，最终才会有成功的一天。

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And it s important and

helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious

floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of

millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children can t

go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole

world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of

soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many
