Thank you for taking time to read this letter. As the problem of food safety has been becoming worse and worse nowadays, I am obliged to write to you.

Several days ago, one of my classmates came back from supermarket with a large bag of food. Because of having found a new style of tinned?ish in the food store, she was very glad. Several other roommates were invited to enjoy the “mouth?atering chicken”. Unfortunately, after finishing the food, all of my three friends had stomachaches and vomited, their faces having become paler and paler. Due to sensitivity to that kind of tinned food, I escaped that suffer. At that time, my mind went blank. I dialed the emergency number with my trembling hand, therefore they were quickly sent to hospital. The doctor said they were lucky to be out of danger because they did not eat too much of that rotten fish and were hospitalized on time.

This is the matter that happened around me which made me realize the seriousness of the food safety problem. I sincerely hope that the whole society could attach much importance to this issue.

8月18日，我看了这天的《广州日报》，当我看到A3版的时候，有一篇报道，是关于游泳方面的问题，这篇报道叫做《两男孩溺亡小区泳池》。当我看到了这篇报道之后，就产生了疑问：为什么两个男孩会在泳池溺亡呢？我带着这个疑问，继续把这篇报道看下去。

原来这篇报道是这样说的：在7月26日18时58分，何志勇的生命永远定格在了这一刻。年仅9岁的他，在嘉和苑游泳池游泳时不幸溺水死亡。救生员以为他“在潜水”，所以救生员过了5分钟之后，何志勇在水下不动弹，才把他给救了上来，可是救上来之后，心跳呼吸停止。他之后被送进医院，可是抢救不了他的生命，所以何志勇的生命就这样结束了。

昨天，下午3时30分左右，在天河区中海康城游泳池内，一名16岁的高中生在游泳时溺毙，他原本并不住在中海康城，只是放暑假来爷爷家玩。事故发生后，救生员将男生捞起，平放在池边进行按压急救，随后120救护车和警车赶到现场，可是还是抢救不了这位高中生的生命，这位高中生也匆匆画上了自己的人生句号。

我看完这篇报道之后，我觉得要告诉喜欢游泳的朋友，出去游泳要注意几点：不要在深水池里去潜水和嬉戏；要去有专业的救生员那里游泳；如果是小朋友，还要带着家长才能去游泳。安全游泳，才能游的开心，游的舒服!

为了防止溺水死亡事件再次发生，我要对同学们提一些建议以及手脚抽筋时的自救方法：

1，小学生应在成人带领下游泳，学会游泳;不要独自在河边`山塘边玩耍;不去非游泳区游泳;不会游泳者不要游到深水区，即使带着救生圈也不安全。

2，游泳前应做全身运动，充分活动关节，放松肌肉。

3，游泳时间不宜过长，20~30分钟应上岸休息一会儿，每次游泳时间不应超过2小时。

4，小学生不宜在太凉的水中游泳，如感觉水温与体温相差较大，应慢慢入水，渐渐适应，并尽量减少次数，减低冷水对身体的刺激。

5，上岸后要赶紧喝补糖水。

6，对于手脚抽筋者，若是手指抽筋，则可将手握拳，然后用力张开，迅速反复多做几次，直到抽筋消除为止;若是小腿或脚趾抽筋，先吸一口气仰浮水上，用抽筋肢体对侧的手握住抽筋肢体的脚趾，并用力向身体方向拉，同时用同侧的手掌压在抽筋肢体的膝盖上，帮助抽筋腿伸直;要是大腿抽筋的话，可同样采用拉长抽筋肌肉的方法解决。

说了这么多，请大家在游泳时谨记，以防溺水。

还有一个案例：有七八个小孩一起去河边游泳，后来其中一个孩子不慎溺水而死。其他孩子发现后，为隐瞒事实，把那孩子的衣物藏了起来。几天后家人在警察的帮助下才找到孩子的尸体，这几个孩子在警察的追问下才说出事实的真相。

这些案例给我们敲响了警钟，要我们时刻提醒自己提高安全意识。我们有很多同学都喜欢到沙坑边玩耍，到瓯江、水库里游泳。这些地方都很危险。

“人的生命只有一次，世上也没有后悔药可吃”。我们只有时刻提高警惕，增强安全防范意识，才能使我们的人生过得有价值！

Today is Sunday. This morning, I went to the swimming pool with my mum.I decided to learn swimming today.

At first, I could not swim at all. My mother was very patient. She taught me how to swim.Three hours later, I could swim by myself. Although I couldnt swim very well, I was very happy.

My dear schoolmates,

There is no denying that safety plays an important part in our daily life. Recently our school has carried out a program aimed at making our campus a safe place to stay on. I considered this as indeed a good practice, which will make us aware that safety should come first in our daily life, whether when we stay at school or outside it. When we are doing sports, we should attach importance to the safety and avoid being hurt.

Furthermore, when we get into trouble with our classmates, we should remain calm and avoid any form of fighting, which may only bring suffering and pain to us mentally and physically.

As far as I’m concerned, I feel all the students and teachers should work hard and creatively to keep the “Safe Campus” activity in mind. Besides, we are supposed to

observe the law discipline wherever we are. Let’s start right now and spare no effort to do little bit every hour and I hope we have a good time everyday!

夏天来临，游泳和在水边玩耍的人越来越多。当然，溺水事故也是在不断发生的。据统计，我国每年有几万个中小学生因溺水而死亡，很让人惋惜。

就在今年的五月七日下午，西湖区转塘小学中村校区，四年级学生曹斌，在转塘镇中村附近的杨家门水库嬉水不慎溺水死亡。同一天，萧山区育苗学校五年级学生赵旭和三年级学生赵松两兄弟，在摸螺蛳的过程中也不慎溺水死亡......

星期四的午间谈话，我们班就针对这个问题展开了交流和讨论。 通过这次谈话，同学们感触都很深。虽然游泳是一种很有益的运动，但是，溺水却成为了中小学生非正常死亡的头号杀手。不幸的例子已经有很多很多...... 因此，为了我们的安全，准备去游泳的时候要注意以下几项：一、中小学生不能自行结伴游泳，如果要游泳，必须叫上会游泳的成年人陪伴。二、身体不舒服，感觉自已体力不足的时候不要去游泳。三、参加剧烈运动后不能立即跳入水中游泳，因为那样容易引起手脚抽筋，有很大的危险。四、水质不好的地方不能游泳，那样不容易看清水中情况。还有河流及水库中有急流的地方均不能游泳。一般来说，自已不熟悉的地方不能下水游泳。即使自已熟悉的地方也不能大意，因为有些地方水流也会因为下雨或另外情况而变得和平时不一样，给我们带来危险。

另外，夏天的时候我们也喜欢去钓鱼、摸螺蛳、钓龙虾等在水边的活动。在做这些的时候也要随时注意身边的环境，感觉有危险的地方就不要去，这样才能保护我们自已和同伴的安全。

我们一定要提高安全意识，小心嬉水，开心玩水，远离溺水危险，珍惜我们的生命。

More and more people makes the traffic busier and busier.

Most people keen to live in the big cities where are more convenient and the children can receive better education.But the problem is the heavy traffic create too much pollution which does great harm to humans health.

So,to keep ourselves safe,I think we should do at least two things like below.

Firstly,we should obey the traffic rules whenever we are and even when we are in a deadly hurry.If everyone can do so,everything on the road will be in turn well.

Secondly,we should ask ourselves and our relatives and friends to walk instead of riding or driving if possible,when the time is no enough,we must try to take a bus rather than drive a car.More vehicles will of course cause more traffic problems.Thats my ideas,I hope it is acceptable.
