My favorite book is wrote by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. I still remember the first time I read the book, I was like in a fantastic world. I cried about the prince’s death. But I’m not sad. His life is so childish ,pure, and also sincere. And he must get his happy ending being with his rose finally. The plot is easy, but the deep meaning of the story is worth thinking . we have grown up as an adult, then we are gradually surrounded by meaningless figures and money. We live in a complex society , every day we must be faced with all kinds of person ,which made our heart more and more cold and detached. For me, society is a monster which could kill the pureness inside of my mind. I’m so grateful for reading this story. And from then on, I have a little prince live in my heart, and when I felt tired to face the society, he appeared and took me back to the clean and honest world that I’ve ever stayed in childhood. After I read the book that is called “The old man and the sea” I was deeply moved by the old man and his spirit.

The book written by Hemingway tells us a story that an old man whose name is Santiago went out to do some fishing on the sea on his own but down on his luck he hadn’t caught any fish for 84 days. Next day he caught a huge marlin which is bigger than his boat and took a formidable battle with it. He beat it at the end. When he was on the way home the smells of blood of the marlin draw a lot of sharks’ attention and they fought for it. In order to protect the marlin and him the old man tried his best to fight with them. After a cruel fight he won it and came back home tiredly. Although he only got a skeleton of the giant marlin at last he is also a great hero in many people’s heart.

In the article the old man is a great man. Although he failed for many time in his life he never gave up. He is a steel-willing man who insisted his dream and work hard. You can destroy him but you can’t beat him. Whatever he faced to he would never yield to the difficult which shows a strong spirit.

In our lives I think we should learn something from the old man which will make us have a more valuable life. Whenever and wherever we meet trouble we should never give up and try our best to overcome it. We should always keep on our dream and make it come true. Every one has his backbone which can’t be bended by anyone which is very important for everyone in his whole life. If we meet difficulty in our life we should face it bravely and work out some way to solve the problem whatever would happen at last. We can be destroyed but we can’t be beat by anything or anyone. If you failed for many times in your life you wouldn’t surrender because if you try to do it you may succeed in your life but if you do not do it you would not be succeed forever. To tell the truth, I can not help but shed tears several times when I watch the moving scene where Gump rushed into dangerous forest again and again to save his battle companions. One of the negatives is the amount of cursing that takes place throughout the book. The ugly but I believe necessary part of the book is the use of the n-word. This is a necessary part of the book because it shows to our children and everyone the meaning behind the word. If anything it makes the reader more understanding of the troubles that the slaves when though and understand the meaning of the word a little more deeply.

This book was great, a masterpiece for the lack of words to describe how entirely wonderful it is. The book was a great classic, the only reason that I did read it is because we have to read a classic for school, however, now that I have read it I realize that it was a great book. I would read this book two or three times, and I do not like reading books again. The book was really able to portray the idea of childhood innocence and foolishness in the book, especially the end. I thought that this book was really an eye opener for people who may think that life is not worth living or maybe derpessed. Because, as you can see, Huck was a young boy who had an alcoholic father who beat him all the time, even kidnapped him after he was adopted by other people. Huck even decided to run away from his father, yet he is still a young, fun loving kid in the end, especially when Tom reveals to him how the whole trip was just a game. The only thing I have to say against the book is that it did seem a little racist with its words, however maybe this is just how they talked in that time period? Overall a great read that I highly reccomend.

这本书的主要内容是，一个乞丐和王子出生在同一天，然后在王宫中碰见，由此便换了衣服，阴差阳错，身份不料也被互换，王子穿的乞丐的衣服到处被排挤，嫌弃，而穿着王子，衣服的乞丐，却很享福，在王宫中被伺候着，结果当上了国王。当国王的乞丐很尽职尽责，办了许多帮助人的事，而被百姓爱戴，最后王子和乞丐在王宫中相遇后变成了好朋友。

这本书，我最喜欢乞丐汤姆，因为他当上了国王后不但没有骄傲，反而办了对国家有意义的事。汤姆在办答案是讲究公平、公正、公开，不像有些没良心的国王直接判死刑，汤姆很善良，也很正直，在办案时特意自己聪明的脑子解决了这个案件。

我最不喜欢书中的约翰，它是汤姆的父亲。他凶狠残暴，而且经常打汤姆，在第四章时，约翰王子任城汤姆，不但打了王子，他把一个牧师打死了。然后打死了还不承认，还要改名换姓，所以我特别讨厌约翰。

书中有很多激动人心的情节，还有悬疑类的问题，我很喜欢这本书，这本书也告诉我了一个人生的道理，做事不要爱慕虚荣，不要像约翰那样。做事要努力，不能半途而废，要像王子和乞丐那样。虽然都有自己的梦想，但经过自己的不懈努力，最终都能成功。

What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. The book is filled with Toms adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper. Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of. The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.

The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which Im sure uses terms even young children already know), the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages.

人总是会长大的，除了个儿长高了，身子强壮了以外，人的思想也在长。你对世界的看法不同了，懂事了，不再幼稚了。不过人是要越变越好才是。千万不能像历险记里的那个心狠手辣的坏蛋卓伊一样，他坏事做尽，人见人憎。但最后他还是恶有恶报，得到了一个活活饿死在山洞里的下场。

看完《汤姆索亚历险记》，我真羡慕汤姆能有如此有趣的经历。这本书让人看起来津津有味，甚至废寝忘食。我想，《汤姆索亚历险记》在你烦闷的时候或许能让你一笑解千愁。

暑假里我看了马克吐温著的《威尼斯的小艇》，其中短篇小说《百万英镑》是一部很好的作品，读了它使我感触很深。

《百万英镑》是讲一个贫穷、诚实的人，也就是这个故事的主人公收到了一对兄弟的信，信里装着百万英镑。原来这对兄弟打了一个赌，赌如果一个贫穷、诚实的人收到天上掉下的一百万英镑，他会有怎样的结果?哥哥认为他会饿死，因为他无法证明这些钱是他自己的，而且会受到别人的怀疑，就连银行都不会让他存钱。弟弟却认为他会过得很好。于是他们兄弟俩将一百万英镑的支票借给了这个贫穷又诚实又聪明的人，并出国呆了一个月。没想到在这段时间里，人们对这位突然暴富的罕见富翁，竟拼命地拉拢他，从免费吃饭，买衣服，到免费住宿，一个个像乞丐一样讨好他，并不断提高他的社会地位，一直到了除王室外最高的公爵之上!不光如此，他还得到了一位好妻子和三万英镑的银行利息，最后还从两兄弟那儿得到了一份很好的工作，过着非常非常幸福的生活。

看到这儿，我很羡慕这位如此“幸运”的主人公，真希望能和他一样幸运，但我又转念一想：人们之所以讨好他，还不是因为当时人们太看重金钱了吗?拜金主义是可耻的，不劳而获更不应该!金钱不是万能的，世界上还有许多比金钱更重要的东西——良心和品德……

简而言之，低碳生活是一种生活习惯，是一种自然资源，可以就近保存。如果你想改善你自己的生活习惯，你可以加入其中。低碳生活，不仅告诉人们，你可以做一些减少碳排放的事情，也告诉人们，你可以做到。我们应该积极推广和实践，低碳生活节约节电启动，点太阳能。当然，低碳并不意味着要放弃一些节俭的，刻意的享受生活，只要你能从生活中拯救，不要浪费，这是一个低碳的生活。

低碳是每个人的责任，是一种态度，不是一种能力。对我们来说，低碳生活是一种简单的生活方式
