neighbors, even though they may have lived in the same neighborhood for years.

As a society, we are beginning to lose the face-to-face contact that was such an

important part of our lives in the past.

Cell phones are a great asset in aiding in our every day lives. You should

remember, however, to hang up every once in a while and pay attention to the

world around you.

Nowadays, environmental pollution is very common. Resource waste is also

seen everywhere. In order to protect the environment, to protect our earth, we

need to live a low-carbon life. I usually go to school on foot, sometimes by

bike. If I need to go to the other city, I will choose the public transportation

and not ask my parents drive me there. If I am the last one to leave classroom

or home, I will make sure all the lights are off. I always will save the water

after washing clothes. And then use it to wash the toilet. Our earth is in our

own hands.

Tourism in China

Recent years have seen a tendency in China that tourism is growing faster. According to a recent survey made by some experts, about 47% urban residents travel regularly, and 28% rural residents also make their tour across the country. The survey also shows that more people are interested in tourism, and will join the army in the future.

Facing this tendency, we can’t help exploring some underlying factors that are responsible. In the very first place, with the policy of reform and opening up, Chinese people’s living standard has been greatly improved, and therefore, most of them can afford to travel around. What’s more, it is believed that people now take a more positive attitude to tourism, and regard it as a life style. In addition, tourism facilities are becoming better and better. For example, transportation develops fast, and many scenic spots are available now.

最近几年，在中国的趋势，旅游业增长较快。根据最近的一项调查显示一些专家认为，约47%城镇居民定期作出旅行，28%的农村居民，也使他们的全国巡演。该调查还显示，更多的人在旅游有兴趣，并会在将来加入。

面对这一趋势，我们不能不说是负责任的开发一些潜在因素。在第一个地方，随着改革开放政策，对中国人民的生活水平有了很大提高，因此，他们大多数都不能周游。更重要的是，它相信，人们现在更积极的态度，旅游业，把它作为一种生活方式。此外，旅游设施正在变得越来越好。例如，交通运输发展迅速，许多景点都已经上市。

“倒霉，真倒霉!”新学期才刚开始，老师竟把去年考试倒数第一名调到了我的旁边，让他做我的同桌。

他看上去呆头呆脑的，每天早上我来到学校时，他就已经坐在座位上了。当他看见我来了，总是笑眯眯地说：“你来了。”可我总是不领情，每次都会狠狠地瞪他一眼。很多次，我总是让他把字写错，可他也不生气，只是憨厚地冲我一笑，用胶带把写错的字粘掉，重新写。

有一次，一个同学在他身边摔倒了，我看见了，心想：他肯定不会去把同学扶起来的。正当我想要扶起那位同学的时候，他却在我的面前，向那位同学伸出了援助之手。

还有一次放学的时候，因为同学让我去教他一道题目，当我讲完题目的时候，同学们已经走的差不多了，就只剩下我、我的同桌和问我题目的同学。老师已经将家庭作业本发好了，我看见我们桌上有两本，一好一坏，我本想去抢好本子，但还有同学在这儿，就没好意思，所以只好自认倒霉。可情形却恰恰相反，他的举动让我大吃一惊，我见他毫不犹豫地把那本坏本子拿过去，并写好自己的名字，又把那个完好无损的放在了我的桌上。

他的行为令我惭愧，让那时的我不知所措。虽然他与我现在已经不在一个班了，但他的品质却让我难以忘记。

2012年5月6日，在国际田联世界田径挑战赛日本川崎站男子100米决赛中，苏炳添以10秒04(顺风2.9米/秒)超风速的成绩战胜美国选手罗杰斯和前世锦赛冠军科林斯夺得冠军。而此次夺冠却是中国队队员首次在男子百米成年组国际比赛中战胜美国选手，可以说意义非。

8月4日，在伦敦奥运会男子100米比赛中，苏炳添以10秒19的成绩名列小组第三晋级半决赛，成为了中国短跑史上第一位晋级奥运会男子百米半决赛的选手。

8月11日，在伦敦奥运会4×100米预赛中，苏炳添与郭凡、梁嘉鸿、张培萌组成的中国队以38秒38的成绩再度打破全国记录，但总成绩仅排在第12位未能进入决赛。

9月22日，苏炳添以10秒21夺得全国田径锦标赛男子100米冠军并实现卫冕。
