Why do the young enjoy western festivals so much? Since they worship everything new, and they can’t resist the temptation. In their opinions, western festivals symbolize the fashion, while our Chinese traditional festivals are out of date. No wonder we always feel so boring during our traditional holidays. If we still turn a blind eye to our traditional festivals, our culture and civilization will disappear someday. Accordingly, it is high time for us to pay close attention to our Chinese festivals.

为什么年轻人这么喜爱西方节日呢?大抵是因为他们喜爱新鲜事物，抗拒不了诱惑。在他们看来，西方节日代表着时尚，而中国传统节日则太土了。这也难怪我们也觉得我们的传统节日太过无聊了。如果我们对传统节日漠然置之，那么某天我们的文化文明终会消失。因此，我们该多多关注我们中国自己的节日了。

自1978年中国大陆实行改革开放以来，在社会、经济、思想、人文甚至政治等各方面的变化，是中国历史上前所未见的。 经济环境、教育环境、价值观念、人口分布都发生了极大的转型。

自实行经济上的对外改革开放政策以来，中国大陆的经济发展有了长足的进步，国民生产总值(GDP)在不到30年中，增长了25倍以上，总体的经济规模已超过德国，位居世界第三位(仅在美、日之后)。但同时，贫富两级分化现象严重。

今日的中国，虽然大学教育更加普及，每年录取和毕业的大学生都大幅增加，但实际上，教育却面临着空前的“商业化”和“产业化”的危机。人一切生活的中心，都开始围绕着金钱和物质转。传统的社会道德、伦理价值，已不再被人看重，甚至受到嘲笑和唾弃。由此带来了社会治安和家庭婚姻等方面的巨大问题和危机。

现在中国也正经历着前所未有的人口大迁移，有所谓的“三大漂”现象∶一是大量农村人口向北京、天津等地移动，二是向以上海为中心的长江三角洲移动，三是向广州为中心的珠江三角洲移动。

在中国经历各个方面的变化中，国家对以前的宗教政策也进行改变。为国内的家庭教会的发展提供了一定的空间，因此家庭教会也经历着很大的变化和发展。有海外杂志媒体总结报道，中国的家庭教会正经历着7个方面的变化，在模式上也有着自己的不同特点。

从农村到城市，这是最显着的、令人眼目一新的变化。许多城市家庭教会正以年轻化、高学历，以及充满活力的聚会方式，呈现出勃勃生机，并快速发展。从沿海到内陆，传统上沿海的家庭教会较发达，这和早期西方宣教士的活动区域有关。而今在中国许多内陆地区，甚至少数民族当中，福音的传播以及教会的建立，也都有了极大的发展。

从基层到多层，如今福音不再是文化程度不高、身处社会基层的平民的信仰，而成为了许多大学系统研究的课题，也是大学生、教授、白领阶层等热衷了解的信仰。以知识分子为主的城市教会，纷纷在各城市建立，并且增长迅速［］。而许多“海归”基督徒的融入，也对城市家庭教会的转型和发展，产生了不小的作用。

从单一到多元，过去中国教会在宗派方面，基本上是单一的(无宗派);在神学思想方面，基本上是保守的(以基要派为主导)。这样的情形，正在发生变化。随着海外各种宗派、各种神学思想和观念的涌入，中国家庭教会也发生了改变，从单一走向多元。从接受到付出，当中国的经济，特别是沿海地区的经济，有所发展时，中国教会的信徒，在金钱奉献以及资源付出方面，也有了很大的进步，其中尤以温州教会为显着。四川的赈灾，更成为中国家庭教会参与社会关怀及付出爱心的集中表现。

从国内到海外，许多地区的家庭教会正跨越国境，向着周边的国家差派宣教士，开展福音宣教。虽然人数尚在少数，但“福音进中国，福音出中国”正在成为越来越多中国信徒的异象和使命。其中，来自温州及福建地区的基督徒，因移民海外或在海外做生意，而更有条件且热诚地投入到建造当地华人教会及宣教上。

从封闭到合作，过去因为历史和政治环境等多方面的原因，中国家庭教会之间，多半互不来往。而今这种情形也在改变当中。特别是城市中的新兴教会，面对地区性甚至全国性的联祷会，以及营会和宣教事工，开始出现了教会之间的合作，甚至联合进行。跨系统的神学培训、工人训练等，也有出现越发多见。

家庭教会在向城市进军及发展的过程中，形成了非常典型的发展模式。“串联”、“并联”现象明显。所谓“串联”，指的是一位或数位专职的传道同工，带领十几个聚会点，形成垂直型的牧养管理机制;所谓“并联”，指的是不同教会之间的“水平连接”，或是一间教会分植出多间教会后，平时各自独立运作，但时常有传道同工间的联席会议，及事工方面的合作。

教牧人员大多有良好的文化素养，以及神学方面的装备。许多信徒毕业于高等院校，放弃了很不错的事业和个人前途，委身神的呼召，带着强烈的使命感，并藉由许多地下神学院或网路神学院等，接受了较系统的神学装备。有些人甚至是在海外接受神学装备后回国服事，教会人员的属灵视野及神学素养，和过去相比，有极大提高。
