A GRAND flag-raising ceremony would be held at the square in front of the Citizens’ Center on the morning of Oct. 1 to celebrate China’s National Day, a government source said.

The national anthem will be played as the five-star red national flag is raised at 7:30 a.m., marking the 55th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

“It will be the largest flag-raising ceremony in the history of Shenzhen, and it will be the first time citizens will be allowed to closely witness the scene,” a government official said.

“About 1,000 people from different walks of life in Shenzhen have been organized to attend the ceremony,” he said.

The ceremony will be performed by a national flag guard under the local armed police contingent.

The team, which was set up in 2002, now has 86 members who have undergone strict professional training.

On the morning of National Day in Beijing, several thousand residents and travelers from other provinces are expected to witness a flag-raising ceremony in Tiananmen Square.

Embraced widely by Chinese as a means to express their love and respect for the motherland, flag-raising ceremonies will also be held in many other places across China.

二十世纪这一百年，人类遭受了自从有了人类以来几乎是毁灭性质的巨大浩劫。战争这个恶魔贪婪的摧毁与吞噬着人类经过几千年来发展来的精神文明，玷污了人的灵魂。面对别国的侵略，中华英雄儿女进行了英勇无畏的抗争，民族的精神与毅力从未让他们失去信心，所以始终不曾放弃。细数世界四大文明古国，民族的根不复存在，传下的只是各族的文明，而只有中华民族始终屹立在世界的东方，精神不倒，文明不会消失，民族血脉依旧传承。

我们自予炎黄子孙，龙的传人，在中华神州大地这块沃土上，母亲河黄河，长江像妈妈一样孕育了我们一代代的中华儿女，种的精神在我们的思想里根深蒂固，所以我们自愿将我们的汗水与热血抛洒在这片神奇的土地上，即使有眼泪也要让它在这片土地上流淌，不是我们懦弱，不是我们退缩，只因我们知道，只有母亲才能抚慰我们受伤的心，重塑我们伤痕累累的灵魂。

当野蛮的铮铮铁骑随着新时代的到来而远去的时候，新中国的成立可谓是一曲里程碑式的赞歌。建国初期，在中国共产党的领导下，我们在摸索中前进，小心翼翼的治疗着祖国母亲血迹斑斑的伤口，在自强中舔舐着自己的悲伤。走了许多曲折的道路，那时的中国民生凋敝，百废俱兴，千疮百孔之下到处弥漫着因战争遗留下的惊恐与颓废，政治,经济，文化各个方面都严重落后于其他国家。然而我们并没有在这种情况下畏缩，仅仅用了三年的时间就恢复了国民经济，工业生产超过历史最高水平，但是我国那时还是一个落后的农业国，许多工业产品的人均拥有量远远低于发达国家。为了有计划的进行社会主义建设，摆脱经济上的低靡状态，我国政府实行了五年计划。然而前方的道路并不平坦，随后我们的国家又经历了文化大革命这一长达十年的文化浩劫，直到1978年党的十一届三中全会的召开，执行改革开放政策。此后的岁月，我们的国家发生了翻天覆地的变化，重造山河秀美，重塑国家形象，中国这个有着五千年文化历史的泱泱大国在国际政坛的地位得到了极大的提高，也得到了各个国家的尊重。饱受沧桑的中国以一种全新的面孔，现代的姿态出现在世界面前。逐步走在了国际科技水平的最前端。

来到了泉城广场，鲜花摆成的”国庆”二个字的大花坛先入目眼帘;

到处都是花坛，花香芬芳扑鼻，有黄菊、红菊、小百合……数目多的数不清。

广场上人山人海，几乎挡住了我前方的视线;

人们聚集在小贩旁，买的不止是玩具，而是国旗，他们挥着国旗走着。有的人还在自己的摩托车上插了一个小国旗以表示国庆快乐。小朋友们拿着国旗，跑呀跑，挥呀挥，可高兴了。

快点快点，喷泉要开始了。我脚步加紧，气喘吁吁地跑着。终于我见到了喷泉，它喷的水柱好高呀，足足有4米高。只见水柱冲天而上，形成了一股气流。浪花往上抛，形成几朵盛开的白莲。

喷泉真美。正在我品味的时候，水柱突然下降，不喷了!哎呀，欣赏的太入迷了没有注意到时间到了。

音乐喷泉在普通喷泉表演完后的五分钟开始。人们的脚步开始往音乐喷泉那里走去。广场四周都摆着红旗，连警车上都装上了显示屏，上面显示着“国庆快乐”

听说音乐喷泉因为国庆节，所以多表演5分钟呢!我欢呼着，因为我从没有见过音乐喷泉，这次国庆节给我了一个很好的待遇的机会。

稍等片刻，音乐喷泉开始了。一首英文歌响起，喷泉跟着这首歌的节奏跳起了舞蹈，那婀娜多姿的舞蹈，形成了一朵荷花;人们欢呼着，这喷泉的技术好高，几十个喷头就能体现出一朵荷花。

第二首歌响起了。哎?这不是维塔斯唱的《歌剧》吗?节奏散发神秘气息，喷泉也跟着跳起了神秘之舞;霎时，歌曲里响起了海豚音，水柱瞬间抱住了喷泉中的荷花，像千百条银链拴在荷花上一样。

第三首歌曲响起了，这正是我们熟悉的《茉莉花》，刚才激烈的节奏忽然变得柔和，让人们放松下来。喷头跟着茉莉花的节奏挥舞着，水柱也跟着变换姿势，形成了茉莉花瓣的形状，给大自然添加了无限生机。

最后，喷泉来了一个很高很高的水柱，一下子落下来，水从高出洒下来，洒了人们一身子。谢幕后，喷泉慢慢停下，不喷了。

这就是国庆节的泉城广场。

On national day, I, mother, Pan Luyao, and Sun Yichao to play in Jinhua. We went to dream Valley, also went to the underground river, to a lot of places, there can be a lot of fun, until October 5th, we go home to be reluctant to part, that night at home have 10 points. I bought a lot of gifts, Pan Luyao, Sun Yichao, father, brother and mother. October 1st is mothers birthday, I wish the motherland mother happy birthday!
