In the course of the activity, the students in our school put on a variety of colorful performances, such as singing, dancing and reciting poems, and all performers were well prepared, making a deep impression on the audience. At the end of the show, a singing program, Me and my country won the first place. From where I stand, this activity is extremely meaningful for the reason that not only does it enable us to get rid of pressure from our study but also it inspires us to work hard and make great contributions to our country. It was a successful performance.

My Traveling in Beijing

A few years ago, I went to Beijing. I really had a great time there.

The first time I went to Beijing, I was very confused. Beijing was very

big. It was so big that I couldn’t find the right directions. And the traffic

was always so busy.

During my staying in Beijing, I visited so many places of interest, such as

the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, and so

on. I also went to Wangfujing shopping mall. But things were very expensive. So

I just did the window shopping.

What’s more, the most exciting thing for me was taking the underground.

Although it was crowded, I still felt excited. Because I could follow the steps

of the modern city.

我们的祖国走到今天经历了多少艰难的历程!谁会忘记悲壮的甲午战争?谁会忘记圆明园燃起的冲天大火?谁会忘记震惊中外的南京大屠杀?谁会忘记黄浦江畔“华人预购不得入内”的牌子?为了洗雪国耻，为了拯救危亡，多少中华儿女前仆后继，谭嗣同，李大钊，杨靖宇，赵一曼……中国共产党从诞生经历了90 多年的风风雨雨。今天，他依然坚定的驾驶着“南湖船”，迎风搏浪，向着社会四个现代化的目标奋勇前进!

为我们的祖国唱一首十月恋歌，那十月恋歌，是从守卫在南沙群岛的海疆战士们心中流露出来的，是从中国南极长城站考察站队员挥动的红旗中飘出来的，是从农民粗硬的手指间跳出来的，是从我们辛勤的园丁们的笔尖上耕耘出来的，是从炎黄子孙拳拳的心中涌出来的。

我们伟大的共和国已经六十五华诞了。六十五年前，拥有五千年灿烂文明的古老国家获得了新的生命力。六十五年的风雨中，中华巨龙不断崛起，创造了一个又一个奇迹，经济建设取得了举世瞩目的成就。

我爱祖国的劳动人民，是他们种的庄稼，挑来的河水把我哺育长大。

我爱祖国的语言。她的每一个词每一个字，都同我们的生活血肉相连，同我的心一起跳跃。

我爱祖国的文化，有时我朗读中国诗歌中的名句，体会到其中的优美的图景，感触到其中的铿锵的节奏，婉转悠扬韵律，领略到其中言外的神韵。当我读到得意的时候，就不觉反复吟诵，悠然神往。当他触动到我精神的褶皱的深处时，我就不觉留下了眼泪。

我爱我们祖国的土地!狂风曾来扫荡过它，冰雹曾来打击过它，霜雪曾来封锁过它，大火曾来烧灼过它，大雨曾来冲刷过它，异国奴隶主的铁骑曾来践踏过它，帝国主义的炮弹曾来轰击过它。不过，尽管受了这些磨难，他还是默默的存在着。一到了春天，它又苏醒过来，满怀信心的表现出来盎然的生意，万卉争荣的景色。

爱国主义，在不同的时代有不同的内涵，今天，它主要表现为亿万人民在党的领导下献身于建设和保卫社会主义现代化的事业，那么，作为高中生的我们，应该用我们的青春吸收和给予，吸收知识，是为了将个人的力量用来实现祖国的梦想。四化建设为我们青年一代提供了用武之地，无数的科学险阻在等待着我们去攀登，无数事业上的难关在等待着我们去攻克，“海阔人鱼跃，天高任鸟飞”。我们在完成的任务——学习科学文化知识的同时，要面向未来，面向世界，面向现代化，从而把自己培养成为中国社会主义事业所需要的人才，中国经济腾飞所需要的人才!

深深地祝福我们的祖国“祖国与天地同寿，江山共日月争辉!”

天还蒙蒙亮，我们一家就起床了，我特别想出去玩。于是，我扯着妈妈的衣服，说："妈妈，带我去金清广场玩吧!"妈妈拿我没辙，只好答应了。我听了一蹦三尺高，连连拍手叫好。

我们一路开车过去，路上车辆来来往往，川流不息，让我提早嗅到了节日的热闹气息。当我们到达金清广场时，天还没有透亮，那里来的人很少，还是静悄悄的。很多店家都刚刚开始摆摊呢!呵呵，我们来得可真早呀!于是，我决定跟妈妈先绕着广场逛一圈。经过广场中央，我看到了好多好玩的项目：有画画，有射标枪，有淘气堡，还有蹦蹦床……我好想现在就能玩，可是那些东西都还没准备好呢!我们来到一片草地上，这里空气十分新鲜，嫩嫩的小草正邀请我们去做客呢。

我和妈妈在草地上休息了一会，听见广场上传来的笑声此起彼伏，估计一定来了不少人了。我连忙站起，眺望远处，果然如此，车多了，人更多了。广场一下子热闹起来。

我拉起妈妈的手，赶紧往广场跑去，找到我最喜欢的项目——画画。我拿起一幅画像，端详了一下，摆好笔和颜料。一切准备停当，我就专心致志地画起画来了。我一会儿观察画像，一会儿拿颜料左涂右涂。不久，我就画好了。我端起画来仔细地看了又看，总觉得有什么地方不对劲，可是一时半会儿却找不出来，只好让店主喷上漆。就在刚刚喷上的那一会儿，我才发现——嘴巴，是嘴巴没有画。可是为时已晚，我只好无奈地走了。

我玩了一个又一个，玩得不亦乐乎。但我最喜欢玩的还是"蹦蹦床"。这是我第一次玩，我一走上去，重心不稳，身子就失去了平衡，每走一步我都紧张得手心出汗。轮到蹦的时候了，我也是轻轻地蹦几下，担心会摔跤。看到周围比我小的孩子都绷得比我高，于是，我鼓起勇气用力地蹦。一下、两下、三下……一直蹦了二十多下。蹦着蹦着，我就不怕了，身子直直地弹上去，笔直地下来，那种感觉好爽。

就这样，我一直玩着，玩得我是满头大汗，要不是妈妈催我回家，我还不肯走呢。这真是一个愉快的国庆节呀!

In Shanghai, therere mainly four means of transportation,the underground, taxis, buses and electric bikes. The underground is much faster than taxis and buses. Buses are the cheapest but the slowest of the four. Taxis run more quickly than buses, but they are more expensive. Now, more and more people choose to use electric bikes. The electric bike is both clean and mobile. It also saves money. It is the most convenient means of transportation.
