My mother is a woman of the old school. She is too conservative to keep up

昨天看到照到的烦心事!

现在我上了中学，学校离家有些远，家里便在学校附近租了房子。好处是方便，上学时可以节省不少的时间(当然也节省车费);然而于我来说弊端也是有的：以前上学多是坐校车，在车上可以碰到许多小学的同学，大家在一起，其乐融融;沿途路过其他中学时，偶尔也会看见往日的同窗，同样感到惊讶和喜悦。不过最有趣的还是下午放学回家(这时的校车是赶不上的)。放学后，站在路边，一边和同学聊着天一边等公交车，有时等到晚上七点过，也觉得颇有意思。倘若时间早，如六点钟的光景，在车上还可以看到夕阳，不亦快哉!现在虽然每周都有一两天中午坐校车，但次数毕竟是少了，到底不如从前那么有趣。可如果天天坐车，“路漫漫其时间久兮”，我做其他事的时间便不会太充裕;还真是难以两全其美啊!

有些烦，不知如何写这篇作业，顺手拍一张窗外的景!

上了中学，作业也自然多起来，每天都有的是语文、数学、英语;有时还有生物、历史、地理、政治……每天写完作业以后，基本上就没有时间看课外书了。像四大名著、《明朝那些事儿》《最三国》《那时汉朝》还有其他许许多多、各种各样的书，都是在上小学时看的，当时一个月可以看完六七本;现在可就难说了。另外，小学五、六年级时自学的《新概念英语》、以前读的一些国学经典，现在都鲜有时间读了。多乎哉?太多也!

此外，诸如身体协调能力不好、晚上总睡不着、上课发言声音太小这些，也都算是我的烦恼吧!

既然有烦恼，就得想办法解决。我要提高做事的效率，这样便腾得出时间看课外书、做自己喜欢的事情，也可以睡得早些;关于身体协调能力么，我平时要多锻炼，放学后认真地跑步，并多向身体协调能力好的同学请教、学习;另外，虽然发言声音小一时改不过来，但我相信只要多练习，也会有进步的。我希望并相信，通过努力，我能把这些小烦恼一点点地解决掉!

It seems we are living in the conflict between modern and traditional

cultures every day. Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your

这么多科学家中，我最倾佩爱因斯坦。他从小就对数学产生了浓厚的兴趣。有一次爱因斯坦生日，他的好朋友给了他一罐鱼子酱，爱因斯坦一边吃鱼子酱一边谈论：“惯性”。鱼子酱吃完了，“惯性”也谈论好了，。他总是这样，每次他研究科学的时候，饭桌上放着他最爱吃的东西也不知道。爱因斯坦非常爱惜时间，可说是惜时如金。无论在他年轻的时候还是在晚年，他都十分珍惜时间。

每次吃栗子时，我剥的第一颗栗子永远属于妈妈……也许，你会问我为什么这么懂事?因为从那一天的那一刻起，我就已经长大了。

那是一个晴朗的午后，妈妈带回家一包“小宝栗子”。“呀!有栗子吃啊!”我一步三跳地接过来。“宝贝，快看我新做的指甲，漂亮吗?”妈妈顾不及栗子，就舞动着双手向我展示起来，那熠熠发光的眼神好似在展示一件精美的艺术品。“好看好看!”我应和着，心里却嘀咕：“好看是好看，就是做的不是时候，没人给我剥栗子咯!”

打开纸袋，栗子还热乎乎的，透着香甜的气息。我学着妈妈以前剥栗子的样子捏了捏，可栗子与我作对似的，就是不开口。干脆咬开吧!我一口下去，嘿嘿!栗子“缴械投降”，脱去了外壳。这美味的栗肉，真叫人唇齿留香，欲罢不能。可剥起来实在太麻烦了，碎末上常常黏着一层褐色的内皮，手指上也脏兮兮的。才吃了五个，我就在和“栗子军团”的斗争中甘拜下风了!

“还是我给你剥吧!”妈妈挨着我坐下，从前顽皮的栗子到了她手中，就像见到威严的长官似的“咔”一声就“张口报数”了。一个个完整的栗子塞进我嘴里，软糯中带着丝滑，甘甜芬芳。妈妈娴熟地剥着，自己却一个都没吃。突然，我瞥见她新做的指甲上，黏上了栗子皮，手指也变成了浅咖色。我埋头也学着剥起来，竟也剥出一个完整的：“妈妈，您吃一个!”妈妈吃着栗子，那一刻，她的眼角有掩不住的笑意。

从小到大，我吃过许多次糖炒栗子，它是我对初冬时节温暖的记忆。但那却是我第一次给妈妈剥栗子，那一刻妈妈幸福的模样令我记忆犹新。从那一刻起，我长大了!
