Today is Friday. It is my thirteenth birthday. I got up very early in the

morning and put on my new clothes happily. My parents bought me the new clothes

as my birthday presents. I went to school earlier than before.I invited many of

my classmates to come to my birthday party in the evening.

今天是星期五，这是我13岁生日。我早早就起床愉快地穿上我的新衣服。我的父母给我买了新衣服做为生日礼物。我比以住早去上学，我邀请了许多同学在晚上来我的生日聚会。

Evening came at last. Many of my classmate came to my home. they bought me

lots of beautiful presents. they all said,"Happy birthday to you!" We sang

birthday songs happily.then my parents brought out a big birthday cake, saying,

"We love you for ever. Happy birthday!"

傍晚过后。我的许多同学来到我家，他们给我买了很多漂亮的礼物，他们说：“祝你生日快乐!”我们唱生日歌，我的父母拿出了一个大生日蛋糕，他们说：“我们永远爱你。祝你生日快乐!”

At the end of the party, we ate the birthday cake and some other delicious

food. How happy I was!

April fools day is a day to play jokes on others, no one knows how this holiday began but people think it first started in france. in the 16 th century, people celebrated new years day from march 25 to april 1.

in the mid—1560s king charles ix changed it from march 25 to january 1. but some people still celebrated in on april 1, so others called them april fools. each country celebrates april fools day differently.

in france, people call the april fools “april fish”. they tape a paper fish to their friends backs to fool them. when he or she finds this , they shout “april fish!” in england, people  play jokes only in the morning. you are a “noodle” if someone fools you.

in scotland, april fools day is 48 hours long. they call an april fool “april gowk”. gowk is another name for a cuckoo bird.

in the america, people play small jokes on their friends and any other people on the first of aprol. they may point down to your shoe and say, “your shoelace is untied.” if you believe them and look down to see, you are an april fool then.

It was sunny today. I was excited. I got up at a quarter to seven. I made a

appointment to meet at nine o’clock. After I had my breakfast, I went to the

Wanjia Market . It was hot outside. When I arrived, my friends didn’t arrive. I

waited for him in front of the KFC’s door. I haven’t seen them for a year. And

New Year, we put on new clothes, affix Spring Festival couplets, prepares to welcome the New Year. In the evening, our whole family to eat dumplings, dumplings with a layer of meaning: bonanza. 春节，是我们中华民族一个重要的节日，要贴春联，放鞭炮，守岁，拜年，等等等等。不同的民族有不同的习俗。

大年三十，我们全家换上新衣，贴上新春联，准备迎接新年的到来。晚上，我们全家吃着饺子，饺子有一层寓意:财源滚滚。因为饺子像一个元宝，在古时候元宝就是钱。守岁一定少不了>,没有>,守岁就没有意思。我们一家坐在沙发上，欢声笑语，看着>，其乐融融。

大年初一，我和爸爸坐着自家的车，走在新修的大路上，虽然寒风刺骨，但还是欢乐无比。到了奶奶家，我跟奶奶拜了一个年得到了一个大红包，心想：今年发财喽!然后和奶奶的街坊邻居拜了个年。接着来到了大伯家，来到大伯家，就如来到书的天堂，有故事类，科学类，艺术类……在大伯家吃完饭之后，我收到了红包和一些书,我要一点点把着些书消化掉。来到大伯家真高兴!

我今年真高兴，真是一个快乐的春节!
