我坚信，如果我们每人都来积极植树，我们的城市将更加美丽!我们祖国的明天也必将更加美丽!

Today is Tree-planting Day. We went to plant trees in Daning GREenland. As soon as we arrived, we began to work.Some were digging holes, some were planting and others were watering. We all know trees are very useful to man. Growing trees means saving man himself. We all worked very hard. When the sun went down, we came back home. Although we were very tired, we felt very happy.

On Arbor Day, particular attention is drawn to the partTrees play in our lives. Its not just a day to plant trees and then forget the gesture for another twelve months. Planting a tree one day is no credit to us if, during the rest of the year, we neglect to care for it and those already growing. Our thought on Arbor Day should be an expression of enduring feeling, thought and action and not just one single, isolated flame of interest.

In schools and other community groups, this day can be celebrated in many different ways.

·By planting trees or shrubs in school grounds, along neighbouring streets or in civic parks.

·By adopting a patch of bush, with the landowners consent, and caring for it by removal of weeds, rubbish, etc, by preparing firebreaks and by fencing and making paths to reduce trampling.

·By presenting a play or mime about trees in the history of Australia.

·By completing a project about certain types of trees (eg. jarrah, boab, karri) or a famous tree like the Gloucester Tree near Pemberton.

·As a class activity or common interest group go on a visit to a bush area with a spokesperson to explain the characteristics of plant species and their niche in the natural environment.

·Collect some tree seeds, germinate them in a classroom, and plant out the seedling.

·Carry out identification of trees in a specific part of your school or neighbourhood. A tree labelling ceremony could also be arranged.

·Compile a list of everyday objects that are made of wood or wood-based materials, and find out how the wood was processed, where it came from and whatever else you can.

Trees and shrubs, whether native or introduced to WA, provide opportunities for the interest and study by the whole community, and when we walk around our own neighbourhood or drive through the countryside, we can appreciate the importance of such a diversity of plants to the well being of humanity.

Spring is the season of planting. One day in March, we came to qujiang park, osmanthus trees planted hits the green.

春天是播种的季节。阳春三月的一天，我们来到曲江公园，种下一棵棵绿色桂花树苗。

我们带着小树苗。来到一个小土坡上。我挑了一块朝南的地方，因为那里阳光很充足，土地松散，非常适宜树木的生长。我和朱俊将合种一棵树苗。一切准备就绪，我抢先拿起锹，开始挖坑。本以为锹对一个六年级的学生来说，根本不算什么，可是由于平时缺乏锻炼，我使用起锹却非常吃力，刚铲了两下，我便上气不接下气了。只好和朱俊轮流换着挖，朱俊接过了锹，只见他手脚并用，先将锹插进土内，然后用脚使劲蹬，一大块土就“搬家”了，不一会，我们眼前出现了一个深约20厘米的坑。我把树苗放进坑内并扶正，朱俊把土填进坑内，并用锹背夯实。我们又拎来了一小桶水，倒在树根处，一桶水很快被吸收了，我想它们一定渴坏了，于是又给它们浇了两小桶水，我仿佛看到它们在拼命吸收水分和营料，一定十分的畅快。

树种好了，我从口袋里拿出早已准备好的“心愿卡”，将它用红丝带系在了树枝上。我在心中许下了愿望：愿小树和我们一起成长，成为国家的栋梁之材!

从此，我的心中又多了一份牵挂。待到八月桂花香的时候，小树，我一定再去曲江公园看你。

Its been a long time since I‘ve done something positive to the environment. Feeling guilty-ridden and determined to do something that I know would definitely please my parents and teachers,I decided to plant several trees on the hill in the rural area of the city on tree planting day with a few friends.

Feeling breezy and light-hearted, we came to the foot of the hill and selected a place that looked suitable and settled down. We spent a few hours digging holes and placing the young seedlings. We took numerous pictures of the beautiful place. We also wrote our wishes and buried it deep down the roots of the trees. I felt tired quickly and though I didn‘t realise it, it was time to go. I gazed up at the sky and took in all the wonderful features of Mother Nature. I felt really glad that we made it for this trip and sweared that I would do my part on protecting the environment.

march 12th is tree planting day. this year our school bought enough trees before that day . on that day , we didn‘t had classes . the teachers and our classmates planted trees around our school.

we began to planted trees as soon as we got to school . some students dug the holes . some students put the trees into the holes.

some students put the earth back to the holes. then we pushed the earth hard with our feet . at last we watered the trees as much as possible.

from then on we looked after the trees carefully and the trees grew very well . it made our shcool more beautiful .and how happy we are !

The teacher led us grade six students group work, digging, planting, watering. We girls are responsible for na saplings, pouring water. Oh! So my family also planted "photinia x ball". I believe that with the accelerating pace of the new rural construction, not only my life would be like "photinia x ball" thriving, the common people life will be more prosperous, our motherland will surely will be more prosperous!

为了把我们的校园装扮的更加美丽漂亮，我们学校在植树节那天组织了一次植树活动。老师带领我们六年级的同学们分组劳动，挖坑、栽种、浇水。我们女生就负责拿拿树苗、浇浇水。呵!都是些新奇树种，有小黄杨，有松树，有棕榈树，还有一些不知名、从未见过的。于是我们几个女孩子就围在赵老师身边叽叽喳喳地问这问那。其中有一种叫做“红叶石楠球”，赵老师把它夸得跟一朵花似的，我却没看出什么稀奇。很快就把它抛到了九霄云外。男老师和男生们累的是满头大汗，一身尘土。我们女生还是叽叽喳喳的跑去拿树苗，跑来浇水。尽管很累，不过，看着绿化后的美丽的校园，我们个个都是那么的开心。

秋季开学时，我刚踏进校园，就被眼前的景色迷住了，特别是那一行“红叶石楠球”。它顶端枝梢鲜红如火，下部叶片亮绿。在三叶草的映衬下格外鲜艳夺目。我们的校园在它们的装扮下更加生机盎然。

不知不觉又是一年植树节要到了。今年植树节种什么呢?对，就在我家院子里种“红叶石楠球”!我把这个想法告诉了爸爸，爸爸说:今天晚上我们就开个家庭会议，你来做演讲，如果你能说服大家的话就种“红叶石楠球”了。我和爸爸击掌说:“一言为定!”晚上我就把 “百度”到的“红叶石楠球”的背了一遍，并作补充说:“火红的‘红叶石楠球’，不仅能美化我们的家园，更象征着我们的生活红红火火!。”听这里我爸爸竖起大拇指说:“说的好，就种它了。明天一早我就去买树苗。”

就这样我家也种上了“红叶石楠球”。我相信随着新农村建设步伐的不断加快，不仅我家的生活会像“红叶石楠球”一样红红火火，全国老百姓生活也会更加红火，我们的祖国也必定会更加繁荣昌盛!

It was fine on March 12 ，2001 . I got up early that day . All the students in our school went to the hill to plant trees .

We arrived at the hill at eight oclock . The teacher asked each of us to plant at least six trees . Then we started digging， planting and watering . We all worked so hard that we could finish our tasks ahead of tim e . Among us ，Wang Lin ，our monitor set a good example for us . Though he was ill ，he worked harder . When he finished his task ，he went on to help others without even a little rest . He was wet all over after work .“ I must learn from him ，” I said to myself . Looking at the lines of the young trees ，we smiled happily，forgetting our tiredness .

Tree planting day is a day to plant tress on 12th March. It was a tradition in ancient China. This custom has been modified many times and was finally fixed in 1981.

This special day can aware us of the importance of gazuoweng and simulate people to plant .

Since the environment is going from bad to worse, it is our duty to care more about mother nature.
