If Van Gogh had always been fascinated in fame and wealth, he would not have had such wonderful works and the world would never have had such a genius of art.

As a senior high student who are preparing for the college entrance examination, we can’t say that the scores is not important. But I still strongly recommend that we should cherish the process of our learning and enjoy the perpetual and interior happiness it brings to us. No matter whether we succeed in the end or not, we have got the best reward for our work.

Today, with the development of Internet, many traditional ways of life have

been changed, especially the way to pay for purchase. The record of credit

occupies important role for everybody, and they need good credit to get loan, so

as to start their business or buy a house. We have come to the age of

credit.

There is a very classic example about the importance of credit. A Chinese

man took the train in Europe. He found no one checked the ticket, so he just

skipped the ticket. He thought he had saved the little money, but when he came

to the bank and wanted to get the loan, he got rejected, because his record of

credit showed he had skipped the ticket, which made him the unreliable man.

The record of credit is the main basis when people asked for loan. The

banks consider the account of money they would borrow according to the credit,

or the departments will check a person’s credit to see if they want to hire him.

The age of credit asks for us to behave ourselves well, or we will live the

tough life.

Honesty is gold honesty means speaking the truth and being fair. If a man lies and cheats is dishonest. A man can succeed not by hard labour is by faith. Honesty is a good virtue, if you have always been honest, youll be trusted and respected by others. A liar is always looked down upon by others and be regarded as an evil member of the herd. Once you lie, even if you speak the truth, people will never believe you. However, in the tide of commodity economy today, many people often abandon faith pursuit of money. In their view, health, beauty, money, intelligence, honesty, talent, honesty is the most easy. They dont understand or pretend not to understand that honesty is one of the most precious wealth, but also is the primary condition to do things. I think these people deserve sympathy. In a word, honesty is gold. Honest, your reputation is good, not honest, you will not be respected. Therefore, we do not think that is a lie, but should immediately in sowed the seeds of faith.

星期五，我们学校举行了一次“英语课本剧大赛”。

我刚进会议室，就看到我的英语老师了，他和其他老师正在忙碌的准备比赛场地。于是，我找了一个位置坐了下来。

英语老师流利的说了几句英语，一阵热烈的掌声后，比赛开始了…哇！有好多的节目，今天下午可要大饱眼福了。节目一个接一个，我有的能听懂，有的还听不懂，不过，“小红帽”的故事已经重复五次了。

到了最后，评委老师给各个节目评分，一场口语比赛圆满的落幕了。

我回到了教室，脑海里一直回想刚才出口成章的口语故事。心想：如果我也能参加比赛，为学校争光，那多好啊！今天真是特别快乐、特别有意义的一天啊！
