人们常说：“爆竹声声辞旧岁，欢歌笑语迎春来。”的确，劳累了一年的中国人总爱在除夕之夜以最热闹的方式迎接新年的到来，故而燃放烟花爆竹便成为庆祝的方式之一。

“噼里啪啦……”门外传来一阵阵震耳欲聋的爆竹声，炸开后的爆竹碎片满地都是，火红火红的，伴随着它的还有那刺鼻的气味。这种浓烟和气味不只出现在我家，家家户户都充满了爆竹燃烧后释放出的浓烟，甚至整条街道、整个天空，空气非常难闻。

吃完了饭，我好奇地问爸爸：“爸爸，放这么多爆竹会不会破坏环境呢？”

“应该会吧。”爸爸回答道。

我又问：“那为什么还要放？”

爸爸：“这样热闹，图个喜庆，当然是要放的了。”我十分不理解。

清晨，我高高兴兴地跑出家门，却被扑鼻而来的浓烟呛得直咳嗽。我不由得想到：过年放烟花爆竹确实给节日添了一份喜庆，一份热闹，同时也带来了危险。

燃放烟花爆竹时产生有毒气体，会对环境造成破坏，如空气中的PM2。5浓度升高，产生大量的二氧化硫、二氧化氮等有害气体，这些气体可以在大气中聚积，造成大地越来越热，南极冰川不断融化。

还有不少人因为燃放烟花爆竹而受伤。那些顽皮的小孩在燃放爆竹的过程中，由于爆竹的威力强大，一不小心就有可能被炸伤眼睛、手指等，这可关系到孩子的未来。

门外的浓烟渐渐消散，我的心绪却并未消去。我相信，只要我们减少燃放烟花爆竹，地球就会减少一些负担，世界将会变得更加美好，金城江这座山城才会更加美丽。

Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if peoples lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution ?

今天我从小区里看到了这样一幕。

小区里的广场边有几个垃圾桶，垃圾桶旁边总会有一大堆的垃圾，还有许许多多的苍蝇在上面乱飞，散发着令人呕吐的气味，臭气熏天，不过每天都会有一位清洁工阿姨去清扫，她忍着恶心，一点一点的把垃圾清理干净，让空气变得清新。可是有一些人还是改不了乱丢垃圾的习惯，有些人把没喝完的酸奶直接扔到了正在清理垃圾的阿姨旁边，她依然辛勤的为大家清理垃圾。

是我感悟到：保护环境，是我们最基础的事，难道连“保护”两字也做不到吗？你想想，如果将垃圾扔到河里，可能会让河水污染，甚至会让鱼儿们死亡；如果将垃圾扔到空中，或许会污染空气，使天空雾蒙蒙的。

如果人人都意识到乱扔垃圾的害处，或许会给城市增添一份干净。这样，天会更蓝，空气更清新。
