All the work was done by hand. Thousands of men died and were buried under

the wall they built. The Great Wall was made not only of stone and earth, but of

the flesh and blood of millions of men.

Today the Great Wall has become a place of interest not only to the Chinese

but to people from all over the world. Many of them have come to know the famous

Chinese saying: "He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man."

From the sixteenth of January to the seventh of February is our Winter Holiday. I think everybody did a lot of things in the Winter Holiday. But I didn’t. Let you to listen to my story of Winter Holiday.

I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

Sports do us good in many respects. It goes without saying that taking

exercises can build up our physical strength. In collective sports like

basketball, volleyball, or football, we will learn the importance of

cooperation. While taking part in sports game, we will try our best to win and

arouse ourselves the competitive spirit. Sports can also help us relax after a

二、定语从句：

句型1、由as引导的非限定性的定语从句。如：

三、让步状语从句

句型1、No matter what / which / who / where / when /

四、条件状语从句

句型1、When / So long as / As long as / Once +从句，+主句。(从句也可以放在主句之后。)如：

句型2、主句+on condition that+从句。如：

Today, I saw an very interesting movie. The story was about a boy met a girl who lived next to him since he was very small. The girl was so active and the boy was very shy. The boy was scared by the girl’s passion. When they were middle school students, the boy tried to get rid of the girl, but the boy started to realize the girl was very special. Though she was not as beautiful as the girl he once liked at school, he was attracted by her feature. The girl had a beautiful soul. She was not skin-deep and she has her own thinking.
