Thereare many holidays in a year. Among them, the holiday I like most is

theChildren’s Day. Children’s Day is on the June First. In school, we have

manyactivities to celebrate it. For example, our school often holds a garden

partyon that day. We can play various games and get awards if we win. It’s the

mostpopular activity in my school. Besides, we can watch movies or hold a

smallparty in our class. We often buy some snacks and fruits to eat. It’s

reallyinteresting. It’s a holiday for fun. We enjoy it very much.

Sports benefit me in many ways. Firstly, sports call can make me fit and strong physically. When taking part in sports, I get the chance to train almost all parts of our bodies. In addition, sports call can maintain my psychological well being, Whenever Im in low spirit,aking part in sports can help me forget my anxieties and worries. Besides, sports can teach me some lessons about life. Through participation, I can learn that on the playground I not only struggle for my own self but also fight for my team. Sports teach me to be considerate, cooperative and optimistic.

I am fond of sports very much. I feel that I not only gain a well balanced life through going in for sports, but also get more chances to make more friends, to move closer to nature. Sports add happiness to my everyday life when I participate in them in a proper way.

My favourite sport is football, as it is very exciting. I play footetball three times a week. Most often I play it in my school. I feel very happy when I play football in school with my friends. Sometimes I play football in the playground near my school.Football is very easy to play. If you play football very well, you can form a football team to take part in the competition. We all know that the Expo 2010 will be held in Shanghai. Being citizens of Shanghai, we fell proud and responsible. It is said there will be 7,000 visitors from different countries coming to Shanghai. What can I do for the Expo 2010 at that time?

There is no doubt that I will be a volunteer to give services to the Expo 2010. I am good at English and I can communicate fluently with foreign guests. I must study English even harder so that I can introduce to them in English the rapid development of Shanghai and I can also help them. I can make them feel at home in Shanghai, such as showing them the way to their hotels or to the places of interest in Shanghai.
