How they turned petrified was, they fell in a river and they got covered by ash and they waited to be petrified. I enjoyed the day more than anything.

Today, I visited Hopi land. It was a Hopi village.There were three Dormitories: First Mesa, Second Mesa, Third Mesa. I visited a man named Ernie. He has a workshop. In his workshop are all amazing local jewels. He gave me a Opal. It was violet blue. There is fire in it. Today is a stupendous day!

Today, I went to drive in Monument Valley. We almost bumped our butts off. We made our own monument. We went in Monticello to go tothe restroom. It was a science lab. I copied a wolf on a computer. I also used handles to control tarish liquid that has iron in it. I also also did was control a ball. Last, I made a rose for mom and much more. Today is a supertastic day!

Today, I hiked on a trail in Arches national Park. It was the longest trail I ever hiked on. It was a rocky and dangerous mountain. I was extra exhausted. When I was at the top, WOW! It was an arch called Delicate Arch. It looks like Athena looking over everybody’s eyes to see if they are obeying rules. How can a loose little arch stand so high. So today was a miracle.

Today is Lunar New Year. I spent it at Las Vegas. We went on a super fast roller coaster. It was funny. We went backwards lots oftimes. We felt good. When we got off, our legs were very wobbly. As you can see, I grew up.

Our school organized a three-day trip last week.The first day we went to the beach,it was a fine day,the sun was shining brightly,the wind was blowing softly,and we had a good time.The second day we went climbing.The wind was so strong that we felt tired.The third day we visited the museum.There were many people and it was very crowded.Hower we felt very happy.

It was a happy trip.

Nowadays, more and more people like to travel in their holidays. The other day I read a report about the ways people spend their holidays. It is reported that in recent yiars several new holiday habits have been developed. Among them, the most interesting one is the growth of the so-called holiday camps.

People enjoy the fresh air, clean Water and green hills when they go camping in the suburbs. In 20XX,38 percent people enjoyed going to the seaside while in 20XX only 27 percent prefer to go there. Why did those changes appear? I think there are several reasons. First, it s because people can afford traveling. Second, people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life. Third, their attitudes to relaxation have changed. Less people want to save much money by leading a simple life. In short, peoples living standard today has been rising greatly.

为什么会出现这些变化?我认为有几个原因。第一，因为人们能够负担得起旅游。第二，人们更愿意追求一种高质量、丰富多彩的生活。第三，人们对休闲的态度改变了。越来越少的人想过简朴的生活节省很多钱。总之，人民生活日渐变好。

Last year, I went to Guang Zhou in the summer vacation. I felt so excited, it took me about four hours to get there. In the daytime, the air was so stuffy and the sun was so hot, so my friends and I decided to take a rest in the hotel. When the sun almost got down, we started to go on the street, the first thing was to find something to eat.
