My university life has been one of the most colorful parts of my life. I will never forget the day when I first stepped into the university. I was a volunteer as well as a disseminator of our splendid culture. There was no doubt that I came across many difficulties at first, such as humid weather, language barriers and so on. Thanks to other volunteers’ help, I overcame those difficulties. When it was time to depart, I couldn’t help bursting into tears, because I had developed a deep friendship with other volunteers. In my opinion, university life has been the most splendid time in my life so far, and many students cherish this period of time and hope that in the future they may become outstanding members of society. But there are also some ignorant students who get together every day only to eat, drink, play computer games or date. They completely forget their mission as a college student and their responsibility to their family to do their best in school.

I want to say that although there are lots of difficulties or setbacks during our college days, we should set our goals and achieve them. I do hope we can try our best to become productive citizens of the country and make great contributions to the nation.

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is coming. Its a traditional North

American holiday,and is a form of harvest festival. In the United States, the

fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving was about

My college is inside the biggest university of Guangxi so that everytime I have to across a big campus to go out. At first I am upset about that, but later on I get used to it. My college looks modernization in general. When I arrive at the school gate, the first thing is the boys’ dormitory and then is the playground. Look up! I see the canteen. I see the girls’ dormitory turn left. But where is my classroom? I look around but can’t find it. It turns out that it is separated by burrows. It’s strange, right? While I go across the burrow, I see another two big playgrounds and a tennis court at my left side. What is in my right side? Turn right, I see rows of teaching building connecting with the library. This is mycollege. I like it not only because of the evironment but also the people there.

I had a long holiday for May Day .I was very happy, because I could do anything I want.

During those days. I enjoyed myself. At first, I went to the zoo to see lovely animals. And then. I went to the sea world to see beautiful fishes. That was very interesting. Secondly I went for a trip with my parents, we went to Linxia to visit my grandparents and to eat minority’s foods.

We rode horse on the grassland and had a fun with local children. It was very exciting. After that, I held a party and invited some of my best friends to visit my house. My Mother

My View on Helping Others in Need

In modern society we are often sorry to see that people are reluctant to help others out, not to mention helping a stranger; offering a helping hand seems to be out of accord with the times。

Then what’s wrong with our society? Some people may say that facing skyrocketing housing prices, expensive medical expenditure

and soaring commodity prices, they have no choice but to struggle to make a living, and thus it would be impossible to spare a hand to help others because it may bring them into trouble. Therefore, standing by indifferently is their only choice。

Thirdly, dont invade your roommates privacy. Everyone has their own secrets and eccentricities. We should not search roommates privacy. 军训，是我痛恨的，是的，军训什么的最讨厌了，可是大学的那次军训却改变了我的想法。

但是军训的第一天，特别是站军姿，就改变了我之前的想法。尽管前两次都学过站军姿，但此次站军姿，我的动作依然不标准，依然坚持不久。一连几天站军姿，依然还得教官不断纠正：“右边肩膀后面一点，高一点，左边肩膀往前一点。”每天每次如此，时至今日，我每天最害怕的还是站军姿……

“站军姿是最基本的，是其它一切动作的基础。”教官说道。但是这最基本的站军姿，对我来说，却是最难的。由此我清楚自己必须纠正自己的态度，用端正的认真的态度来面对军训，并从军训中提升自己，无论是站军姿、队列训练还是锻炼耐心、意志、坚忍、团队精神等，用学习的积极的态度认真参与军训的每一项训练。

军训开始后才发现，其实军训并非如师兄师姐们所说那么轻松或无聊，虽然没有像初中、高中军训时那样站在烈日下曝晒，没有那么大的训练量，虽然练习的动作都很简单，但要让那么多人行动要像一个人一样的确定是件不易的事。一天军训下来，还是挺累的，特别是夏日炎炎，太阳好像要用全部的光和热融化这个世界，整个场地好像一个蒸笼，我们在这样的环境下纹丝不动站军姿，不厌其烦练枯燥而烦琐的动作，汗水像决堤的洪流，顺势直下，怎一个“挥汗如雨”了得!我们的衣服湿了又干，干了又湿，留下一圈又一圈的痕迹。汗水沿着脸颊一滴又一滴地滑下，热气充斥着我们的鼻翼。军姿已站了三十分钟了吧，脖子好酸，脚的刺痛感越来越清晰，教官说还有60秒，可是我数了好几次60了，为什么还不到时间，似乎一秒就有一个世纪那么长……但是值得欣慰的是，每一天站军姿都可以感觉到自己的进步，似乎可以坚持更长了……

尽管有点辛苦有点枯燥有点累有点烦，但每天还是过得挺开心的。在训练过程中，总有同学闹笑话，大家笑成一团。一到休息时间，同学们一起聊天、开玩笑、唱歌，或者教官跟我们谈起他的军营生活，这些都是我们的快乐时光。其实，我们的教官人很幽默，他不仅讲笑话给我们听，玩脑筋急转弯，而且还教我们唱歌，这使军训生活变得丰富精彩。教官不会那他的身份压我们，感觉还是挺可亲可爱可敬的!教官身上的好奇心、好学心也是值得我们学习的，总会好奇的摆弄单反相机，这些时候总会觉得他离我们很近，感觉不到一点架子。很庆幸也很感谢，谭教官挑了我们这个连并带领我们一起渡过15天的军训，谢谢!

通过军训，我们同学之间的友情更加深厚了，以前没有很多机会大家一起接触相处，在这个军训期间，我们分享身边的趣事，分享喜欢的书、电影，分享烦恼，分享各自的家乡话，一起吵吵闹闹，好像回到了少年时代。 尽管每天还是会数着军训还剩多少天，每天还是会想今天不用军训该多好，但是每天还是会认认真真地训练，过好军训的每一天。希望接下来军训的日子，大家都过得好好的，训练得像个兵似的，等待柳暗花明又一村的惊喜…
