Many years later, a sandstorm thoroughly changed all that, that day, dust storm flood came, the whole world of darkness covert, dust storms have been shaved nine days nine nights, all the cities, factories are all turned into desert, everything vanished.

Kid, the above two kinds of the future city which one do you want to let the world become? If you want the first kind, is to protect the environment, come on!

在未来有一个山青水秀的城市，山上的森林郁郁葱葱;小溪的河水清澈见底;空气清新甜润。那里没有工厂排出的浓烟，没有河上漂浮的塑料袋，没有被砍伐的树木，只有一片的绿色。

在未来，人类与动植物和平相处，猎枪变成了一只只的小鸟，电锯变成了一棵棵粗壮、结实、挺拔的大树，原子弹在博物馆展出，而工厂的烟囱被拆掉，铺成了湛蓝深远的天空……那时世界上已经没有了“笼子”这个词，处处可见人类和动物一起散步、做游戏的场景。为此，人类还建了一所学校来培养未成年人、动物，教学楼上闪着十二个金灿灿的大字：“大家和谐相处，共建美好家园!”

然而，未来也可能是另外一种景像：一排排的工厂整齐的被建在山坡上，它排出的浓烟把原本瓦蓝瓦蓝的天空污染成了灰色。河水变得臭了、黑了，树木被砍光了，裸露的树桩上有许多的、白色的塑料袋。许多年以后，一场沙尘暴彻底改变了这一切，那一天，沙尘暴铺天盖地地袭来，整个世界昏天暗地，沙尘暴一直刮了九天九夜，所有的城市、工厂全变成了沙漠，一切都消失了。

小朋友，以上两种未来城市你想让世界变成哪一种呢?如果想要第一种，就赶快保护环境，行动起来吧!

Every man know elephants. But do you know now the elephants are becoming fewer and fewer. Its a serious problem. Let me tell you about the elephants.

Elephant are the biggest mammal on land. They can live up to 80 years.They are so cute.Their ivory is so pretty and expensive that many people kill them to get their ivory. So they can make much money by selling the ivory. Also,elephants are also losing their homes bacause people cut down lots of trees. There cause that there are only a few elephants in the world now.

What should we do to save and protect the elephants? In my opinion,we can often seveal and try to stop others cutting down trees around us.

And we mustnt buy the ivory,because no buying, no killing.

动物是人类最好的朋友，可是在现在的省会，残杀小动物的事件层出不穷，每当那个时候我都感到莫名的心疼，小动物也是一条小生命啊，为什么人类就忍心伤害它们呢，让我们呼吁全社会，保护动物，别再伤害它们了。

在那一天的阴暗的傍晚，我听着英语单词，捧着录音机走在回家的路上，看到了一幕让我悲愤的动物屠杀 ——一个人拎着一只吊着绳子的小狗，这可怜的小家伙被勒得口吐白沫，只见另一个人拿着榔头从一家饭店出来了。我赶紧转过街角想逃走，可是两条腿却不由自主地停了下来，躲在转角偷偷的向那望去。只见他们有说有笑，而那小家伙的眼神却是那么的绝望。突然那个人举起榔头使劲的朝它砸去。“呯”一股鲜血喷涌而出，那小家伙的脑袋顷刻间血肉模糊。鲜血不但染红了绳子，血腥味也在周围不断的蔓延······简直是惨不忍睹。我"逃亡"了，脑海里却一直闪烁那幅“血腥画”。一路上，我不断地追问自己：这是我看到的吗?这就是我眼中和谐的世界吗?

“人类，不是世界······的主宰······”我断断续 续的联想着，那个的血淋淋画面又出现了，同时那束奇怪的力量又直冲心头，又在热血里沸腾起来，好像一个哭泣的声音传过来：“呜呜呜呜······救救我们，救救我们，不要再伤害我们，不要在破坏地球了啊·······”我禁不住泪流满面。

是的，我们只有一个地球，而人类却践踏生灵。就算植物不会说话，那砍伐的树木中也会有第一滴泪，一滴代表绿色家族的泪。而那些可爱的小动物，等待它们的也是灭绝。我心中的力量平息了，心却下沉下沉，再下沉。“天灾，人类，主宰，残害，灭绝······”不断在我心头缠绕，“血腥画”将永远烙印在我的脑海，永不磨灭。

让我们一起保护动物，保护我们的家园。

Few Americans study stay put for a lifetime. 保护动物An Appeal for Animal Protection

I am a student from Xinhua Middle School in Chongqing，China。 Informed that you have a vacancy for a student to serve as the spokesman for animals， I cannot resist my inner excitement，hoping to seize the opportunity to do something for animals 。

我是来自重庆新华中学的一名学生。得知你们有一个空缺给学生充当动物发言人，我抑制不住内心的激动，想要抓住这次机会为动物做些什么。

In my mind，nothing can delight me so much as caring for animals。 Wherever I go and whatever I do， I usually keep in mind that animals are angels from the heaven， which bring us endless fort and pleasure。 I have been a panda lover since my childhood。 Panda is so lovely that brings fun to people and they are regarded as the treasure of our country。 Unfortunately，such a rare species is now faced with the danger of being extinct。What I am eager to do is to raise people’s awareness of animal protection and appeal to more people to care for our earth panies。

我认为，没有什么能够像关心动物一样让我快乐。不管我去到哪里，在做些什么，我会时刻牢记动物是来自天堂的天使，带给我们无尽的舒适和快乐。我从小开始就是一名熊猫爱好者。熊猫是如此可爱，给人们带来乐趣，而且它们是我国的国宝。不幸的是，这种稀有物种此刻正频临灭绝的危险。我想要做的是提高人们保护环境的意识，呼吁更多的人关心我们地球的伴侣。

The seas and oceans receive the brunt of human waste, whether it is by deliberate dumping or by natural run-off from the land.

In fact over 80% of all marine pollution comes from land-based activities and many pollutants are deposited in estuaries and coastal waters. Here the pollutants enter marine food chains, building up their concentrations until they reach toxic levels. It often takes human casualties to alert us to pollution and such was the case in Minimata Bay in Japan when many people died as a result of a pollutant building up in food chains. A factory was discharging waste containing methyl mercury in low concentrations into the sea and as this pollutant passed through food chains it became more concentrated in the tissues of marine organisms until it reached toxic levels.

As a consequence 649 people died from eating fish and shellfish contaminated with mercury and 3500 people suffered from mercury poisoning.

How to protect theenvironment has become one of the biggest problems in the world .

It’s our duty toprotect our environment .No matter where we live ,we should do something tokeep our neighborhood clean and tidy .We can collect waste paper or otherwaste things for recycling.We should plant more trees and we should preventthose factories from pouring waste water into rivers,lakes and fields.We shouldn’t leave rubbish everywhere andspit in public places .We mustn’t pick the flowers or step on the grass inpublic.If everyone tries his best to protect the environment ,the world willbecome much more beautiful and our life will be better and better .
