一、征文内容

野生动物是人类的朋友，是自然生态系统的重要组成部分，是大自然赋予人类的宝贵自然资源。保护野生动物，维护自然生态平衡，不仅关系到人类的生存与发展，也是衡量一个国家、一个民族、一个城市文明进步的重要标志。

保护野生动物是每一位公民应尽的义务和责任。关爱野生动物，就是善待我们自己，就是爱护我们的家园，就是珍惜我们的生命。征文作品要求围绕“保护野生动物 共建蓝色湛江”的主题，抒发对保护野生动物的认识和感受等。

二、征文要求

1. 征文作品以散文、随笔为主。作品要求主题鲜明，健康向上，感情真挚，文字精练。字数宜在1200字以内。

2. 作品必须是作者原创，文责自负。

3. 作品均使用Word文档排版。并在标题前注明“保护野生动物 共建蓝色湛江”征文字样。

有些人虽然知道怎样去爱护动物，可是他们只会假惺惺地去教育别人，而自己却照样破坏环境，照样兴致勃勃品尝野味。就拿印度洋毛里求斯群岛上生活的渡渡鸟来说，由于它身上的肉鲜美无比，所以遭到当时人类的大量捕食，在十七世纪就已告灭绝。但是如果当时人们有动物保护意识的话，就不会造成渡渡鸟的灭绝。

还有鲸，鲸不是让你们随意捕杀的，鲸是被杀掉一头就死一头的，不像小鱼小虾那样多，如果我们把鲸杀掉了，那我们的子孙后代，他们不是看不到鲸这种动物吗？

还有鲸，鲸不是让你们随意捕杀的，鲸是被杀掉一头就死一头的，不像小鱼小虾那样多，如果我们把鲸杀掉了，那我们的子孙后代，他们不是看不到鲸这种动物吗？也不曾知道有过鲸这样庞然大物的动物的存在。

In the last several decades, our earth has been extremely polluted, such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. In recent years, the extreme weather becomes more and more frequent. Winter gets colder and summer becomes hotter and it rains more frequently. All of these warn us that protecting the environment is a serious and emergent event. As our general people, we should build proper lifestyle. We should pay attention to water and light saving. Many people are active in fighting against unfair treatment to colored people, women , animals and so on. Right now I am talking about fighting for respect to our environment. Though the environment doesn’t have a mouth to deprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. In the early years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of the yellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods. As a result，the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was in several developed countries. Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horrible scene!

Last Friday, a chance encounter changed me and my familys life greatly.

After school, I was about to enter my apartment building when a little dirty dog, lying beside the du，stbin, caught my eye. He looked extremely weak. Immediately the homeless dog filled me with sympathy. So I bent down and held him in my arms. I rushed him upstairs and right away fixed him some food. Then, I gave him a bath. After the bath he looked energetic and refreshed. What a lovely dog!

When my parents got home, I asked if I could keep the dog. To my surprise and happiness, they agreed. From that day, he has become a member of our family. Everyone has enjoyed his company. My parents walk him often. He and I play joyfully.

Looking at the cute, happy dog today. I realize that I did the fight thing. I brought him to a warm, loving home and he has brought us great happiness and laughter.
