【分析】这个句子表达了两层思想：1. Born in a small town出生在一个小镇 2. grew up to be a musician.长大成为了音乐家。这个句子应该分成两句来写。除此之外，还需要增加一些信息来连接两层思想。

【提升】He was born in a small town in South China in the early 50s. In his childhood he liked to sing. Later he entered a music conservatory. In the 70s, he grew up to be an accomplished musician.

特点二：连贯性

句子的连贯性：即能清晰地连接句子的各个部分，没有虚假的平行结构，没有指代不请的代词，没有不清晰的句内关系。

Eg. Upon entering the classroom, the students stood up and said, "good morning!"

【分析】这个句子从语法来讲是正确的，但是句内关系不清楚，到底谁进入了教室？

特点三：准确性

句子的准确性指句子内部没有不准确的，不必要的词。

Eg. He returned in the early part of the month of August.

【分析】这个句子感觉有故意写长之嫌，需要精简。

【提升】He returned in early August.

特点四：重点突出

好的句子应该重点突出，词的选择，词的重复都有助于句子的重点突出。

Eg. When the bank robbers entered the bank they yelled, "dont move!"

【分析】这个句子比较平淡，可以修改一下动词。

特点五：语法正确，句式多变

句式多变指句子长短结合。如果全篇都是复杂的长难句，文章读起来会晦涩难懂，并且有挑衅阅卷人之嫌。反之，全篇都是短句，感觉有侮辱阅卷人之感。

listening to tapes, watching English TV programs. And I found it really helped a

lot. In fact, there are some more helpful ways to learn English well. For

example, I enjoy singing English songs and I want to join an English club or

find a pen pal from English-speaking countries. I believe that nothing is

impossible if you put your heart into it。

早晨，我起床时，听见窗外“沙沙、沙沙”在响，我穿上拖鞋，拉开窗帘，一看，哦，原来是外面下起了雨呀！这雨就是秋天的开始。

我到了学校，雨好像准备下个没完没了。果然，雨越下越大。学校里里外外犹如仙境一般，披上了一层透明的轻纱。小树正贪婪的吮吸着第一场秋雨，好像要伸一伸懒腰。秋雨是让农民最喜欢的时候，田地里的玉米喝足了水，正在茁壮的生长。这场秋雨只会让我感到烦，因为有时会感到冷，室外体育课也会被改成室内体育，而且雨如果斜着下的时候，还会扫到走廊里，这让我们走路时很容易滑倒。

当放学时，许多同学以刘翔的速度飞了出去，打开雨伞，向校门外狂奔而去。我等同学们走后锁好教室门，边走边欣赏着雨景，当我的目光像校门口投去时，只看见很多很多会走的“蘑菇”，五颜六色，十分壮观。于是我拿着伞飞快的奔跑到下面，加入这个行列。

On March 8th, 1975, the United Nation started to celebrate the International Women’s Day. In China, the women’s day also called “March 8th”day. Why we celebrate women’s day? There is a long story.

On March 8th, 1909, the Women’s Union of Chicago demonstrated against the inequality between men and women. They demanded that they should have the same payments, the same working hours as men had, and they should have the rights to vote. They even put forward a slogan: Bread and Rose, which stood for equal payment and a better living standard. This demonstrated had caused international attention to the women’s rights. A year later, a critical meeting was held in Demark, in order to promote the women’s liberation and equal rights, the council members decided to establish the Women’s Day on March 8th. Then March 8th, 1911 just became the first Women’s day.

In our country, during the women’s day, the women usually have a day-off holiday. The communities or companies will organize the recreational activities such as a spring outing, a nice dinner and some extra welfare. On this special day, the women can really realize that a woman’s value is not only giving birth to a child, doing endless housework, but also find her own status in the modern society. That is she can make a different. She can do everything that a man can do. When you look around, you will find that more and more women are acting as scientists, doctors, lawyers, even leaders. 秋天来了半季了，秋雨也待了半季了。每次一下，他的帅气，他的寒意，他的实力让他的英姿飒爽展现出来。

秋雨是帅气的。他的细长的雨丝，仿佛根根精致的绣花针，在叶子上绣上秋红色，在花儿上绣出淡黄色，在秋天中绣出了一场突然地帅气的雨。雨丝为梧桐草地上的小草冲洗了一次，做穿雪棉袄的准备；雨丝为路边的梧桐枝干吹掉金黄的树叶，让梧桐充分吸收自己保存的养料；雨丝为枫树绣上了火红色，让人们尽情包饱览他的帅气；雨丝湿润了菊花，是他更有君子之样……秋雨好帅。

秋雨是充满寒意的。每当凝视“沙沙”的秋雨时，秋雨常送来了一阵清爽的秋风，散去八月的炎热。“一场秋雨一场寒，十场秋雨要穿棉。”秋雨的寒意让街上的人们都套上了厚衣服。秋雨的寒意不但让人们从炎热中解脱出来，还向人们提示了冬天要来到，做好准备的提示。秋雨真是寒意逼人。

Last Sunday , I saw a movie named Travel notes of a flying house.This movie is very interesting and I like it very much.

The movie mainly talked about that a little boy with a flying dream grew with a little girl with the same dream,and then they got married,grow old together. Until the hostess Eli dead, didnt they finish the flying dream of wonderland waterfall. Finally one day, the 78 years old’s Mr Carr built a flying home, flew away to the fairyland waterfall, and there occurred many amazing and moving stories.

The film, tells me three truth. First of all, people should have a dream and pursuit.Only in this way will you have spirit,as for the single-minded pursuit of dreams and perseverance, then do you have a fight. Secondly, the difficulties are not invincible, but you have not the courage to face, to challenge.I believe that as long as face them bravely, you will be able to get victory and successful.

一个初秋的早晨，我和爸爸妈妈到外面去吃早饭，外面下着蒙蒙细雨，我们便各自带了伞。

雨中的早晨很凉爽，风吹到我的身上凉丝丝的，难怪书上说“一场秋雨一场寒”啊！秋雨不怎么大，淅淅沥沥的。远处的竺山被一层蒙蒙的雨雾笼罩着，若隐若现。走出小区，看的又是一番不一样的景色：天是灰蒙蒙的，细细密密的雨丝仿佛给大地穿上了一件轻纱。忽然我的伞上发出了“哒哒”的声音，原来雨丝虽小，但那么多的小雨丝积聚在路边的樟树叶上，变成了一滴滴大雨滴打在地上和我的伞上。路人行色匆匆，好像是不想被这小雨打湿了衣服，被淋成了落汤鸡似的。我却觉得十分开心，伸出手臂亲密接触一下这清凉的秋雨。哇！那么多凉凉的雨丝打在前臂上，既凉爽又刺激，一股秋风吹来，更是一阵冰爽。

走出早餐店，我发现这淅淅沥沥的小雨已经停了下来，地面早已被雨水冲刷得一尘不染；绿化带上的叶子碧绿碧绿的；路旁的野花上滚动着珍珠般的雨滴，十分艳丽；被雨水洗了个澡后的空气也格外清新……
