My mother is an honorable policewoman。 She is very busy with her job all the time。 As mom often needs to work over-time， she goes to work very early in the morning， and doesn’t come home till late at night。 Mother deeply loves her work; she treats it gingerly and conscientiously， and she is full of respected at work by her colleagues and leadership。 For always being a responsible person for the work， my mother also therefore merited many awards。

In my memory， from my childhood， my mom rarely took days off， not even for the public holidays。 When my friends went out to play with her parents on weekends， I spent my time in mom’s office。 Whenever mom had a day-off， she would be busy with preparing a delicious meal for my dad and me。 There was one time， when we were just about to start our lunch， an emergency telephone call rang up， mom hang up the call， got dressed to get ready to go out， she was even too busy to think of the meal， then rushed to her work。 Till my bedtime on that night， mom was still not home yet。 My mother works extra almost everyday， she never seems to know when she should stop it。

Many people have favorite places they like to go to when they are feeling

sad or bored. I also have favorite places that I go to as often as I can.

Here are the three places that I like most. First of all, I like the zoo.

The animals are amazing because some are so cute and some are so ugly! I like to

pet them,feed them and watch them perform. Museums are cool places, too. They

have good exhibits and fascinating displays. I like the works of art there. Some

museums teach me a lot about history and science. From dinosaurs to robots, I

love them all. Finally, theme parks are my favourite place. I think the roller

coasters are the best. Its fun to scream and get scared.

These places always cheer me up. I try to go to each of my favorite places

once a year. I am going to find more favorite places to go to when I grow

up.

Last March, my mother told my father and me that my grandfather would come

in April. We were very happy because my grandfather was an interesting old man

and he had not visited us since he went to Hong Kong.

On April 1 my father and I bought a lot of food from the supermarket and

bought a big bunch of flowers home. Then we did some cleaning at home. At night

when we were waiting for my grandfather, the bell rang and in came my mother.

She smiled to us and said "April fools"!

2、 不乱扔垃圾。出门在外，最好带一个袋子，将自己用过的废旧物品放进袋子里，等找到了垃圾桶时再扔掉。

3、 实行家庭垃圾分类制度。用不同颜色的垃圾袋区分可回收和不可回收垃圾，再按其种类丢进垃圾桶，能给垃圾回收工作带来不少的便利。

4、 珍惜水资源。不将生活垃圾倒进河里；洗手擦肥皂时应该将水龙头关掉；淋浴时脚下放个水盆，积下来的水可以冲厕所，这样也能节约很多水资源。

5、 节约每一寸纸。复印资料或其它文件时，尽量采用双面复印的方法。虽说只是一面纸的问题，但天长日久，积少成多，一年下来就可以少砍几棵大树。

6、 节能减排。堵车时，如果队伍太长，就干脆将发动机关掉，既节约了汽油，又减少废气排放。

近年来由于人类不断地破坏环境，使得世界的将来不容乐观：气温上升导致冰川融化、生物不断灭绝，人类不断砍伐树木、臭氧层出现空洞……这些情况都来自“厄尔尼诺现象”。这些现象不断地暗示我们：拯救地球吧！保护环境已迫在眉睫！

那么，怎样采取行动呢？首先，我们必须要少砍伐树木。树木能制造氧气，同时吸收二氧化碳。其次，要保护湿地。把湿地保护好了，就相当于保护好了40％~50％的生物种类。

气温升高，主要是由于大气中所含的二氧化碳逐渐增多，所以，我们应把空气中二氧化碳的含量降低，将未来冰川融化的“噩梦”扼杀在萌芽状态，让地球彻底的降温。要减少空气中的二氧化碳，最好的方法就是多种树。

另外，气温升高也与垃圾有关。垃圾可以堆肥，但垃圾堆肥时却不可避免的产生甲烷。甲烷也是导致温室效应的“罪魁祸首”之一。

所以，人类一定要减少垃圾的产生。垃圾少了，老鼠也少了，就有了开头故事的场景。最后，我要提醒大家：保护环境，人人有责！

夏天，天气闷热，大多数的人都会在空调房里待着，看看电视什么的，这样又浪费电，又伤害眼睛，就拿我们家当例子吧，每个月至少可以用249度电，那两个月就是498度电，三个月就是747度电……一年用2988度电。全国有十多亿人口，如果都像我们家一样，那每个月就得用249000000度电，这是一个多么惊人的数字啊!再说了，长时间待在空调房里的人们很容易得空调病，大量的氟力昂也会污染空气，使天气一下子又热了许多，那又不用电，又可以保护眼睛，又能保持人体的健康，该怎么做呢?就来听听我的建议吧!

吃完晚饭，我们可以动员一家人出去散散步，这样就可以不怎么用电了，又帮助消化，又不用电，还能让心灵的窗户——眼睛，得到保护……真是一举多得啊!如果这样可以节约两度电，那一个月(30天)就可以节约60度电，两个月就是120度电，三个月就是360度电……一年(365天)就是730度电，十年(3650天)就是7300度电，下面以次类推。这样也不比整天待在空调房里差啊，你说是不是啊?

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. Besides these, there are a lot of human activities which have done or are doing harm to our surroundings.

我觉得要保护环境！因为近几年清得能看见底下沙子的小溪，通通变成了浑浊又发臭的下水道，这一切都是拜人类所赐。

此时，只要你打开电视，铺天盖地的新闻就会向你涌来，绝大多数都是关于污染的。海里的鱼吃到了由人类丢下去的塑料袋。那塑料袋会随着其他垃圾掉进胃里，使它无法进食，让它活活的被饿死，一位生物学家曾经做了一个实验，把一只死在海边的鱼开膛破肚，她在鱼的胃里发现了100多块垃圾，其中包括塑料袋、包装盒、纸片，这些死于非命的鱼终有一天会进你的胃。

再来说说大气吧！汽车的尾气不仅对人体有害，还对守护我们三十亿余年的大气层有害，大气层不仅给我们充足的氧气，来掌控着雨、雷、风等等。给我们带来了农田的肥沃，但人类的汽车已然对它造成了极大的伤害，使它常常“发火”、“发怒”、“哭泣”，有些地方一年也下不了一场雨，有些地方却雨水成灾。尾气还会造成氧气里含有有害物质，PM2。5，一个极小的怪物，它不仅小于2。5毫米，还会对人体造成极大的伤害。

People always say that we are lacking of the eyes of realizing the beauty

in life. I can’t agree with it anymore. Last week, I woke up very early in the

morning, so I decided to take a walk. The street was very quiet and there were

many old people dancing in the square. Without many cars, I realized the city

looked so clean and beautiful. Some coffee shops decorates so well, which

attrated my eyes. The city was coverd by the green trees, which made it a green

city. I liked this feeling so much. At this moment, I found the city was so

Today, I go to school with a headache. At the beginning, it is just a

slightly pain. Nevertheless, it is not until the English lesson that my head

pains heavily. So it is difficult for me to take notes. Luckily, my English

teacher notices it so she takes me to the office. With a big smile on her face

Environmental protection, there are many problems at present. The most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. Air pollution is very harmful to human health. In order to protect the environment, governments have done a lot of work.
