春节，我想我们中国人都知道这个节日吧！这可是我们中国的传统节日，在这个节日里，还有好多有趣的事呢!

我的家乡在新乡，过春节的时候可热闹了，大人小孩都穿上了新衣服，家家户户都在门口挂上了红灯笼。一到晚上有放炮的、有放烟花的。最传统的就要数大年初一的拜年和吃饺子了。我就先说说吃饺子吧！

初一早晨，我们都比平时起的早，等我们洗漱完毕。奶奶已经把香喷喷的饺子端到饭桌上来了，这顿饺子和以前的吃饺子有点不一样。第一，奶奶说：“吃饺子如果碗数吃得多，就能长寿，”所以我们每人一碗里就只放一到两个饺子，这样吃的碗数就多了，第□奶说：”在包饺子的时候把第一个包的饺子里放上一块硬币，谁吃到了这个硬币谁今年就有好运。”奶奶说完我们就大口大口的吃着，找着这个幸运币。为了找到这个幸运币我们可吃了好几碗饺子呢！

吃饱了喝足了，该去拜年了。拜年也是有讲究的。首先，是先给长辈拜年，再去邻居家拜年，我们家的长辈坐在椅子上，我们按照从大到小的顺序给长辈拜年，拜完年长辈要给我们发红包。我们走在大街上，如果碰到了人，都要给他们问好，拜年，他们会从兜里掏出糖和核桃分给我们的。

Like every young girl, I pay attention to make myself look pretty, because

if I get more attention from others, I will be very happy. So I start to follow

the models and the movies stars dressing style, then I find that compare to

their skinny bodies, I look like a fat girl. So I have made up my mind to lose

weight. As my body is in the growth period, my parents always ask me to eat

more. When they find me start to eat less, they think I am sick. I tell them

that I want to look beautiful, then my mother says that I am beautiful in her

eyes. If I dont eat, I will look old. I search the Internet. The pictures of

skinny girls scare me, so I give up losing weight. My annoyance is gone, and I

am happy again.

October 1stis the national day of our country, which is a public holiday for the whole country. It’s an important day that marks the beginning of PRC. The spring festival is the most important festival for the chinese people and is when all family members get together, just like christmas in the west. all people living away from home go back, becoming the busiest time for transportation systems of about half a month from the spring festival. airports, railway stations and long-distance bus stations are crowded with home returnees.

比赛开始了，男生，女生都不甘示弱，勇于站起来回答问题，外面狂风大作，里面却是这番热闹的情景，一分钟过去了，二分钟过去了，三分钟过去了男生和女生之间出现了距离，眼看第一大题就要结束，我们男生非常着急，想挽回局面，正当我们要开始翻盘时，第一大题居然就这然结束了，不过还好，还有第二大题，谁赢谁输还不一定呢？第二大局开始了，经过一番调整的我们，又开始追逐了紧张又激烈的气氛依旧未停，男生们依然努力的追赶着分数，能追一分是一分，女生好像有点骄傲了，回答的人越来越少，我们分数渐渐多了起来，直到最后一题是我们只差女生两分了，当我们认为胜负已定时，老师突然说最后一题回答对加两分，这是我们脸上又有了笑容，因为班长把自己的手举得高高的，他是我们最后的一线希望了，你是男生唯一的靠山了，当老师在黑板上花了两个大星星后就意味着我们的努力没有白费，我们终于胜利了！

春节是喜庆的，今年的春节是环保的，新气象新习俗。 The Spring Festival is festive. This years Spring Festival is environmentally friendly, new weather and new customs.

今年春节，村里禁止燃放烟花和爆竹，整个春节期间，村里没有一处燃放烟花和爆竹，相比以前确实缺少了一点过年的气氛，但是整个乡村依然喜庆不减，而且，今年春节还给我们还带来了有史以来春节期间最清洁环保的空气。

除夕当天，各家各户按传统习俗都在自家门上帖上了春联、福字和年画。街口、大圣庙等地方仍是人流如织，车水马龙，大圣庙早早就上了鲜艳的彩灯，为整个春节奉献了浓浓的年味。春节过大年的喜庆气氛不减往年。

往年春节，到处是烟花爆竹声，空气中弥漫着呛人的硝烟味和浓浓的黑烟，整个村庄好象被厚厚的烟雾所笼罩，时不时传来大小爆竹和礼彩炮的轰鸣声。无论是道路还是家里，到处都是礼炮和爆竹的残渣，一片狼籍，不堪目睹，留给环卫工人的`是一次又一次的清扫。但今年春节却大不一样，整个乡村在春节期间的空气清新，天空蔚蓝，从道路到各家各户，没有了往年遍地硝烟、浓雾和爆竹残渣，又清洁又环保，给人一种全新春节气氛。另外还为我们了巨大的烟花爆竹费用。

这不邻居大爷正月初六过八十大寿，本来是要请戏班做戏，而且准备大摆筵席请乡里乡亲和亲戚朋友过来吃饭，打算买上万元鞭炮回来放，他那上大学的孙子过年在家，他给全家人做思想工作，最后把这些钱省下来，捐给村里老年人活动中心。

这样的春节另有一番新意，我喜欢。这就是我家乡的新习俗。

春节是中国的传统节日，每年的这个时候，人们都要举行非常多活动来庆祝，例如：贴春联、放鞭炮、守岁、和拜年串门等等。

往年的春节十分热闹：纷纷扬扬的雪花把大地装扮成一个银色的童话世界，邻里之间串门拜年，孩子在雪地里追逐打闹，有的打雪仗，有的堆雪人，还有的溜冰。大街上买卖鞭炮的、嬉戏玩闹的声音此起彼伏。到了除夕，各种的烟花漫天飞舞，像什么窜天猴啊、二踢脚啊、落地开花啊等等，顿时火树银花，整个夜空都被照亮了。那时的天空是那么蓝，星星又大又亮！

近几年春节，似乎没有以往那么热闹了：漫天都是雾霾，出门都非常困难。尤其是今年，入冬以来，连一场雪都没下，空气又干又脏，感冒的人特别多。春节时，街上空荡荡的，卖鞭炮的少了，放炮的人也变少了，除了除夕、初一到初五能听到一些零星的鞭炮声，其他时间都挺安静的。我家也只放了两小串鞭炮意思一下，我把烟花都“戒”了——不知怎的，提不起任何兴趣！

人们认识到空气污染的严重性以及带给我们的危害，开始自觉地采取行动，减少空气污染，少放鞭炮可以说是一种具体的体现。没有炮声的春节固然缺少了年味，但是，一个炮声隆隆，乌烟瘴气的春节更是我们不想见到的！

传统的年俗需要传承，但是，为了我们的青山绿水，我们又必须对一些老旧的做法进行适当的调整和改变。

we must drink water everyday. we can’t live without water. water is everywhere around us. at home, we use water to wash clothes, to wash dishes, to cook rice, to clean the flat, to have showers, to make drinks, to clean our teeth, to have a bath and so on.

at work, people use water to put out fires, to grow vegetables, to make things in factories and so on. we also can swim in the sea.

在临近新年的一个星期六，老爸吃完午饭就拉上我这个助手，全副武装地向苏果超市“进军”，说是要储备年货。一听到要逛超市，我眼睛一亮，兴奋不已。于是，我们浩浩荡荡地来到了苏果超市。 On Saturday near the New Year, my dad pulled my assistant after lunch and "entered" Su Guo supermarkets in a full armed manner, saying that he wanted to reserve the annual goods.EssenceAs soon as I heard that I was going to the supermarket, my eyes were bright and excited.So we came to Su Guo Supermarket.

苏果超市里人山人海，热闹非凡。也是，快要过年了，人们哪个不是怀着激动与兴奋?“天哪，人这么多，我还没想到……看来只能出狠招了。”爸爸念叨着，便抓起我的手，飞快地冲到二楼。二楼是食品专区，一样样令人垂涎三尺的零食、甜点、蔬菜、水产品、水果都摆放在货架上，真是琳琅满目，应有尽有。

我们先是来到零食区上，爸爸爽快地拍拍胸脯，说：“你挑吧!”“哟，变大方了嘛。”我嘟囔着，暗自想：谁叫你平时那么小气，今天别怪我无情，我可要狠狠敲上你一笔!便见什么东西好吃就拿下来——麦咪巧克力豆、旺仔qq糖、奥利奥饼干、美滋滋巧克力、好丽友木糖醇、旺旺小小酥等等都被我收入囊中。我回头望了望爸爸，只见他瞪大了眼睛，紧紧咬着嘴唇，眉头皱的拧成了一个疙瘩，一副被吓着了的样子。我只得不好意思地坏坏笑了一下，吐了吐舌头。

接着，爸爸和我晃到了主食区。主食区可真是一个丰富多彩的“食天地”：各种各样的生肉散发出新鲜带着咸腥的味道;各种各样的蔬菜散发出清新带着泥土气息的味道;各种各样的水果散发出自然带着芬芳的味道……忽然，一阵诱人的香味传来，我和爸爸随着香味，来到了一个个蒸笼前。在一个透明的柜子里放着一枚枚小巧的包子、馒头、发糕和烧麦，爸爸当即下令捞走了部分小笼包，心满意足地走到一行行冰柜前。

冰柜里有冷冻的猪肉、鸡肉、小黄鱼。爸爸精打细算了很久，踌躇不前、犹豫不决地抓起两个乌鸡，丢进了购物包里。“哇，羊肉串!”我的眼睛被一线光芒点燃，可怜巴巴地望着爸爸。爸爸显得大方极了，不仅称了一斤羊肉串，还称了一斤“骨肉相连”。

走出主食区，爸爸又转到了水产区。只见他定定地站在某一地点，眼神恋恋不舍地望着某一地方。我循着他的眼神望去——一个透明的水箱，几只肥壮的甲鱼正闭目养神。我晕!爸爸一开始进超市就看中了这几只甲鱼，可逛到最后，还是回到了“老地点”。“想要就买下呗。”我有些疑惑。“你看看标价。”老爸呆呆地说道。我便不以为然地看了看——不看不知道，一看吓一跳!45块钱一斤!“唉，算了，快过年了，索性给孩子们吃个够!”爸爸咬了咬牙，便挑了一个最肥的甲鱼，77元!我像盯着一个外星人盯着爸爸，半天才冒出一句，——爸爸，这不像你。逛了一个多小时，我们满载着收获走了出来。我拎着沉甸甸的货品，手是酸的，而心却是甜的。

One of my classmates was knocked down by car last term. He was badly hurt. He had to stay in the hospital for several months. We were very sad.

One night, he felt very hungry. He wanted to buy some easy noodles to eat. He ran very fast. He didn’t stop when the traffic lights were red. He couldn’t escape. His legs were injured. He said that was a terrible(可怕的) memory. He said he would obey the traffic rules forever.

Every May in Chinese lunar calendar is Dragon Boat Festival, do you know anything about it? Let me speak for you.

Once upon a time, there was a patriotic poet Qu Yuan, once he went to Beijing to go to work, see a decline of state variable, then vote Miluo River to commit suicide. Before he died, he wrote a poem. People in order to commemorate the patriotic poet, the annual Lunar New Year in May at the beginning of a dragon boat festival.

The main contents of the Dragon Boat Festival is the dragon boat racing, zongzi.

Dragon boat racing scene is very lively, crowded shore. Just listen to the sound of gunfire, paddled boat people desperately, but the river is full of cheering.

Rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves, is for filling, with glutinous rice. When the package is very sticky, not professionals, but the package is not good!

According to legend, the dragon boat race is to salvage the Miluo River to die of the patriotic poet Qu Yuan. Threw rice dumplings into the river, is to let the fish and shrimp to eat, not eat Qu Yuans body.

春节啊，春节，你快点到来吧!

过春节不仅可以无拘无束的玩，放松，还可以收到大把大把的压岁钱呢!这也是我喜欢春节的理由。

过春节了，大人们都把压岁钱装进红包里面。大年三十出门的时候放在口袋里，给亲戚拜年如果看见了小孩子的话就给一个红包，小孩子都乐得合不拢嘴!但是有一年春节，我因为没有听得懂一句话，差点儿把一百元的压岁钱又还给了大姨奶奶去了。

事情是这样的：不只是某年某月某日正在过春节，我在房间里和小妹妹玩，大人们在外面聊天。突然，大姨奶奶走进了房间，给了个红包给妹妹，没有给我，我眼睁睁的看着，难免有点眼红嘛!过了一会儿，大姨奶奶“如梦初醒”才发现我，赶紧从口袋里拿出了一百元塞到我手里。

这张一百元没有用红包包起来，大姨奶奶问我：“包，还是不包?”这不是废话吗!压岁钱不报给小孩装在口袋里好玩啊?我干脆的说：“包!”然后她又问了一次，我说：“包!”后来我一直说“包”，大姨奶奶反而把钱拿走了，我很纳闷?过了不久，她又把一个红包给我，等她走后，我拿起红包打开一看，一百元压岁钱放在了里面，原来是我误会了，大姨奶奶是把钱装红包里去了。

其实压岁钱哪怕是一元两元都好，我要的是这份乐趣，这份心，不是钱!

Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

Here is a tentative schedule:

Sunday, April 8th

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

我爱我们的节日——春节。每年的正月初一就是我们大人们所说的大年初一。在这来临之前，家长们要买年货，包饺子，蒸馒头，炸丸子等。孩子们也会得到压岁钱。还有给已经失去的亲人表示对他们的思念。说一说心里话。大年初一的这一天就要家家户户贴春联。

饺子是我国春节里必吃的东西每年都看到爸爸妈妈爷爷奶奶们包饺子。今年我也想亲手包一次饺子。对于包饺子，我一概不知。爸爸把饺子陷，饺子皮拿到我面前，我束手无策，不知道

该如何下手。就在这时爸爸演示了一遍给我看，先把饺子皮放在手上，然后用勺子勺一点陷放在饺子皮中间，然后把手捏在两头往中间一捏再把中间的捏紧，呈月牙形状，上面是捏出来的“花边”，下面是呈拱形的半圆，这就是家喻户晓的饺子啦!我照着这个样子试了一次，结果由于陷放的太多皮不够露馅了!!“失败乃成功之母”我又试了一次，我有试了一次结果这次陷太少皮太大一放在桌子上就“趴”了下去，这是我觉得这包饺子不想想象中那么简单，正想放弃不干可有想想那些成功人士的成功道路上也不可能一帆风顺，我又鼓起勇气再包了一些，最终终于成功了!虽然样子不像爸爸包的那么好看，但比起刚开始，真是进步不少啊!!吃着这些我亲手包的饺子心里美滋滋的。

我爱我们的节日——春节，之所以喜欢这个节日，因为在这个节日来临之时，我们小孩子会收到许多压岁钱，有许多好吃的还有漂亮的衣服……更重要的是它让我学会了包饺子。

Summer comes after spring. It is the hottest season in the year. It often rains, sometimes It rains quite heavily. Everything grows very quickly.

Since I come to college, I feel so excited about the new life. Before I go

to college, I have pictured the wonderful life here, but now I find I have many

problems and the campus life is not as wonderful as I think. I need to adjust my

lifestyle.

In high school, in order to inspire students to study hard, teachers always

picture the amazing life in college, so most students treat college as the

paradise. But when they start the new life, they find the difference between

dream and reality. For me, I think I could play most of the time, joining

parties and making a lot of friends. However, study occupies most of my time. I

have so many lessons to learn. Sometimes I even have class at night. This makes

me feel unexpected.

But the time to study is not the only annoyance for me. I feel so

frustrated when I lag behind other classmates. In the college, I meet classmates

from different cities, and some of them have the talents in paining and dance,

some studied very well. So I felt small and faced pressure. Now I learn that I

should learn from them and dont treat them as competitors. Enjoying study comes

first.
