今天，我和堂弟看电视正入迷时，妈妈突然叫了一声，把我和弟弟吓一跳，往窗外一看，我们都高兴得跳起来了，“下雪啦！”我们都欢呼起来。漫天的雪花在空中飞舞，一会儿飘到东，一会儿飞到西，一片片雪花飘在我衣服上，一下子就不见了，他在跟我玩捉迷藏呢！弟弟趁我不注意时从地上抓了一把雪捏了个雪球向我抛来，我也毫不示弱，朝他扔去，在雪地里，虽然我们的小手冻得通红，但我们真的很开心！

我把米放在叶子里，可米全撒在了桌上，我生气极了。姐姐对我说：“你要把叶子做成一个三角形的样子，然后再把米放进去啊!”

于是，我按照姐姐说的步骤作了一遍，在米上按了按，咦?旁边那个盘子中间放的是什么?原来是肉馅哦!我在糯米中间挖了一个小洞洞，把肉馅弄成圆状，塞入糯米中，让它也加入糯米的行列中。可怎么封好呢?我看了眼姐姐，就明白了一切。

我把翘起来的一片叶子按下来，并用绳子用力的扎紧。成功啦!我按照前面的方法，包了好多个。现在就要下锅了，先是把水烧开，然后把粽子放下去。

过了一会儿，粽子煮好了。大家四人坐在桌子旁，吃起了粽子。

我把绳子解开，正想把叶子摘掉，可我一碰，就被烫着了。姐姐看了，哈哈的笑了起来。我吹着吹着，把让热气吹走了。我再次小心翼翼的将叶子掀开，吃起了自己亲手做的香喷喷的粽子来——白白胖胖的糯米中间，包着一团鲜汁可口的肉馅，放入口中，不油不腻，又有嚼劲，感觉太好了!

端午节就这么过去了，嘴里吃着自己亲手包的粽子，心里想着我国唐代诗人杜甫写的诗：宫衣亦有名，端午被恩荣。细葛含风软，香罗叠雪轻。自天题处湿，当暑着来清。意内称长短，终身荷圣情。

这真是一个快乐的端午节!

Here is a difference between science and technology.Science is a method of

answering theoretical questions; technology is a method of solving practical

problems. Science has to do with discovering the facts and relationships between

observable phenomena in nature and with establishing theories that serve to

organize these facts and relationships; technology has to do with

tools,techniques, and procedures for implementing the findings of science.

Another distinction between science and technology has to do with the

progress in each. Progress in science excludes the human factor. Scientists, who

seek to comprehend the universe and know the truth with the highest degree of

accuracy and certainty, cannot pay heed to their own or other peoples likes or

dislikes, or to popular ideas about the fitness of things. What scientists

discover may shock or anger people--as did Darwins theory of evolution. But

even an unpleasant truth is more than likely to be useful; besides, we have the

option of refusing to believe it! But hardly so with technology;we do not have

the option of refusing to hear the sonic boom produced by a supersonic

aircraft-flying overhead; we do not have the option of refusing to breathe

polluted air. Unlike science, progress in technology must be our slave and not

the reverse. The legitimate purpose of technology is to serve peopie--people in

general, not merely some people; and future generations, not merely those who

presently wish to gain advantage for themselves.

We are all familiar with the abuses of technology. Many people blame

technology itself for widespread pollution, resource depletion and even social

decay in general--so much so that the promise of technology is obscured. That

promise is a cleaner and healthier world. If wise applications of science and

technology do not lead to a better world, what else will?

Having a good nights sleep at grandmas house is definitely the best time to get up in the morning. 热闹的民俗表演

正月里，村里的民俗秧歌队可闲不住。每天都安排了不同形式的表演。大年初一的上午，是耍毛驴和划龙船。村里的男女老少齐聚街头，孩子们兴奋地穿梭在游行的队伍中间，有的淘气的小男孩，还装模作样地去摸毛驴的屁股，这时候，扮毛驴的演员也会很配合地跳起来，假装生气地回头瞪一眼，大家伙顿时被他的红脸蛋逗得哈哈大笑。大年初二是大妈广场舞表演时间，活力四射的大妈们换上统一的大红色的表演服，风风火火地扭起来。很多观众们受到这种热情的感染，也不由自主地加入到舞动的行列中。

迎来送往的亲朋好友

正月十五之前，奶奶家几乎天天都有亲朋好友上门，奶奶忙里忙外，迎来送往。作为家里的小主人，我也是非常好客的，因为叔叔阿姨们总是会给我数量不菲的压岁钱。随着我的腰包越来越鼓，我的小眼睛开心得眯成了一条缝。我也就成了家人眼中公认的“小财迷”。

我爱春节，更爱家乡的春节的味道!

“砰砰啪啪“砰砰啪啪”，一阵阵爆竹声把我从梦中唤醒了，春节的早晨。呀！今天是过年，我真高兴。

吃过早饭，爸爸和爷爷忙着贴春联，挂灯笼，老叔和老婶忙着洗菜、切菜、包饺子，奶奶在厨房里忙着蒸馒头。只有我最轻松，我穿上新衣服拿着鞭炮和小弟在院子里放鞭炮，一群群小伙伴们东家窜西家地忙个不停，不管到谁家都有许多好吃的，家家户户都在忙着贴春联、做好吃的。

我一直惦记着奶奶锅里的大馒头，春节的早晨。时不时地跑到屋里看看：“奶奶，馒头好没好？”奶奶说：“这就出锅。”奶奶掀起锅盖，一锅热乎乎、白胖胖的大馒头就呈现在我眼前。白胖胖的大馒头还在朝我笑呢！各个像芽孢似的咧开了嘴。“给！”奶奶顺手递给我一个大馒头，“别烫着。”我拿着馒头乐呵呵地跑回了屋和小弟弟吃起了软绵绵、又香又甜的大馒头。太香了。外面“噼里啪啦”到处都是鞭炮声，整个世界都充满了新年的气氛。

过年是我们小朋友童年的梦，是我们小朋友成长的岁月，是我们小朋友最难忘的日子。

I am terribly sorry that I failed to arrive at BLCU last Friday. I hope that this did not mess you up completely, although I know that you had already made some special arrangements for my visit with you parents and friends. I am very sorry about all that. I am sure you will be sympathetic, however, when I tell you that my father is dangerously ill in hospital, and that I found it impossible to leave for the visit when he is in this state.

My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.

24 hours have passed. Nothing has changed. I have to stay at the hospital. I will let you know if there is any good news.

在鞭炮声过后，就开始吃早餐了。吃过饭后，我出去玩，在街上点燃爆竹在地上开出了美丽花，漂亮极了。我看着甭提多高兴了。今天小鸟也出来凑热闹，大概它们心里也很高兴吧。

在街上，我看见有人在卖玩具，有人在卖小吃、点心、水果，各种各样都有，各种各样货物样样俱全，琳琅满目，人们恐怕想买什么都难选择!顾客大多数是一些小孩，我瞧了瞧，就数麻辣摊生意。“我要一串年糕!”一个胖孩子叫道。

第三道菜也端上来了，是用削成丝的竹笋和鸡块一起做的，我左思右想，抓耳挠腮，就是想不出来。妈妈说：“不会了吧，不会了吧？告诉你，是蛛丝马迹。”我一想也对，只好认了。

春节啊，春节，你快点到来吧!

过春节不仅可以无拘无束的玩，放松，还可以收到大把大把的压岁钱呢!这也是我喜欢春节的理由。

过春节了，大人们都把压岁钱装进红包里面。大年三十出门的时候放在口袋里，给亲戚拜年如果看见了小孩子的话就给一个红包，小孩子都乐得合不拢嘴!但是有一年春节，我因为没有听得懂一句话，差点儿把一百元的压岁钱又还给了大姨奶奶去了。

事情是这样的：不只是某年某月某日正在过春节，我在房间里和小妹妹玩，大人们在外面聊天。突然，大姨奶奶走进了房间，给了个红包给妹妹，没有给我，我眼睁睁的看着，难免有点眼红嘛!过了一会儿，大姨奶奶“如梦初醒”才发现我，赶紧从口袋里拿出了一百元塞到我手里。

这张一百元没有用红包包起来，大姨奶奶问我：“包，还是不包?”这不是废话吗!压岁钱不报给小孩装在口袋里好玩啊?我干脆的说：“包!”然后她又问了一次，我说：“包!”后来我一直说“包”，大姨奶奶反而把钱拿走了，我很纳闷?过了不久，她又把一个红包给我，等她走后，我拿起红包打开一看，一百元压岁钱放在了里面，原来是我误会了，大姨奶奶是把钱装红包里去了。

上午，姥姥带我俩去买年货。在公共汽车上，小弟突然大叫：“看! ‘偷’油宾馆!”我一看，那是什麽‘偷’油宾馆，是‘输’油宾馆。于是我对小弟说：“那字念‘输’，不念‘偷’!你个‘白字先生’!”

在商场，他看到了“花生米”，于是大叫：“大家快来看!‘花’也能生‘米’了!"我差点晕过去，亏他想的出来。

到了晚上，大家正在包饺子。我和小弟也想包。于是对姥姥说：“我俩也想包!”姥姥死活也不同意，但在我俩的“死缠赖打”下，终于同意了。我小心翼翼地照着姥姥的样子包饺子，但还是不是形，和老老包的饺子简直是“天壤之别”但在我的努力下，终于包得像点形。可弟弟早已没了耐性，把面团当成了橡皮泥!竟然捏起了小人!姥姥见了火冒三丈。大叫：“你怎麽浪费呢?”可弟弟却有词有理，说：“水浪费了?我为了节约，在里面装了馅!”把我姥姥气得哭笑不得!

终于到了0点了，“该放鞭炮了!”我大叫。咦?小弟呢?我找了半天还没找到。没办法，我只好和姥爷去放鞭炮了。

我刚出楼栋大门，只听“嘭”的一声。差点把我吓破了胆!小弟大叫：“大哥上当了!哦耶!看你还说我‘白字书生’不?”

这个春节可真有趣!多亏了小弟呀!
