春节不仅是一个团圆的节日，也是一个喜庆的节日。春节里有许多好玩的风俗：贴对联、剪窗花、放鞭炮、吃团圆饭……每一样对于我们小孩子来说，都是一件快乐的事。我最喜欢的是吃年夜饭了。

每年的大年三十，爸爸妈妈很早就起床了。爸爸打电话给大姨、大伯等亲戚，请他们晚饭一起吃年夜饭。妈妈最忙碌了，从早上开始，就要准备晚饭要吃的菜。于是我们一家人都派上了用场，做了分工：爸爸负责杀鸡宰鸭，还有鱼等等;妈妈负责配菜，把晚上要烧的菜一样样都先洗好切好，做好准备工作;我也不闲着呢，我要把晚上用到的碗啊盘啊都洗得干干净净。经过半天的忙碌，准备工作全做好啦!

接下来就是妈妈大显身手的时候了。妈妈先把肉类的放到蒸锅里慢慢蒸着，放到煲锅里慢慢熬着，然后把各类炒菜一样样荤素搭配炒好，放到漂亮的盘里，就像一个大厨师一样。我和爸爸当起了小伙计，把菜一样样端到饭厅摆在桌子上，香喷喷的菜，看看就令人直流口水。

到了下午，丰盛的饭菜一样样都出锅啦!蒸笼里传出来的扑鼻的香气，几十米之外都能闻到呢，我数了数桌上的菜：有金灿灿的烤鸭，有香喷喷的蒸鸡，有红通通的大螃蟹大虾，有铺着小葱的八宝鱼，还有各色绿油油的蔬菜……看得我眼花缭乱!

伯伯阿姨们没进门就大叫：“好香啊!”我赶紧跑出去迎接，不一会儿，家人都来齐了。我们就开吃啦!我狼吞虎咽，恨不得长出两张嘴来吃这么多的美食，差点把自己的舌头都吞下去了。妈妈笑着提醒我说：“别急，慢慢吃!”爸爸和伯伯他们相互敬酒，妈妈不停地往表弟表妹的碗里夹菜。

我终于吃得肚子都圆滚滚了，就拉着姐姐、表姐她们去空地里放鞭炮。我点燃水炮，赶紧一下子扔得很远，只听得“啪”的一声，水炮不见了，炸开了只剩下一点小纸头。姐姐比我还胆小，只是远远地站着看。爸爸过来喊我们：“发压岁钱啦!”听到这儿，我们争先恐后地跑回房里，每个大人都给我们发了一个红包，祝我们学习进步，健康成长。我们拿了压岁钱，又赶紧跑出去继续玩耍。

大年夜真是一个快乐的晚上啊，我们玩得开心极了，大人也不会来干涉我们，玩得累了，我们还可以看春节晚会，还可以吃妈妈煮的美味的宵夜，还可以在12点钟的时候听整个城市热闹的鞭炮，看美丽的烟花。我真想每天都是大年夜!

随着钟声的敲响，新年脚步已经到来，转眼间送走了365天，20____年将会是一个崭新的面貌，向我们迎来今年是鼠年，在这里我祝大家:“鼠”你精彩!

在新年的那一天里，我早早的起床，走在街上，早已被这热闹的景象所感染，我真是闻到了一股浓浓的“年味儿”，大街上琳琅满目的商品展现眼前：红对联，红灯笼，鞭炮……数不胜数，目不暇接。家家户户都贴上对联，红灯笼。做好了准备迎接着新的一年。过年最开心的当然要数我们小孩子了，女孩子过年当然要穿漂亮的裙子，红靴子。一个个打扮的花枝招展，像个“娇美公主”，但是我还是觉得最有年味的还是和爸爸妈妈一起包饺子。

到了晚上夜幕降临，无数颗繁星洒在了黑黑的天空上，妈妈和爸爸和好了馅儿，我们仨开始包饺子，开始分配任务：妈妈擀饺子皮，爸爸和我一起包饺子。我的心里真是既兴奋又紧张，兴奋的是我第1次包饺子，紧张的是我怕饺子露馅儿，爸爸一边教我包饺子一边说:“包饺子有三个特点：一是把饺子皮放在手心里，不要太平放，二是放馅儿放在正中间，好为下一步做铺垫，三是包饺子，先捏中间，后面两边。”我边听边学着包，结果却提成了个“四不像”，爸爸说：“不要灰心，努力就可以，要加油!”爸爸又顺手捏了捏我包饺子说，旁边捏的太松了，要不然煮会成了一锅粥。唉!真是“看花容易，绣花难。”不过，最终凭我自己的努力终于把饺子包好了。

饺子上桌了，我夹了个“畸形”饺子，慢慢品尝起来，喏!浓浓的鸡汁儿直喷入我的口中，香甜的味道在我的口中回味着，我真感受到了一股暖流诵入到我的心头，这就是我品尝到的“年味儿”!

【过年】

要说中国人最喜欢的节日，便是非春节莫属了吧。

盼啊盼啊，终于盼到了除夕。

长辈们在厨房里忙碌着，洗，切，炒，调味，一气合成。一盘盘香喷喷的菜肴上了桌。我心想：这种大场面我也得露一手呀，炒菜算了，风险太大。就摆一个果盘吧，说干就干，我拉过表妹削皮，切块，最后装盘，完美!香喷喷的年夜饭准备好了，大家纷纷落座，肥美的鱼肉，雪白的甜米，肥而不腻的梅菜扣肉……令人目不暇接。热热闹闹的年夜饭过去了后，一家人又热热闹闹地挤在沙发上看春晚，热热闹闹，好不愉悦。

“咳咳，"我向妹妹眨了眨眼睛，妹妹看了看我，比了一个“OK”，于是，我俩走到专心看春晚的大人面前，“哗”一下伸出手来，大声说:“恭喜发财，红包拿来!”

而大人呢，先是愣上几秒，然后就笑呵呵的从背后掏出一个个油光发亮的红包。我和妹妹一溜烟跑回房间。美滋滋的把一张张钞票从红包中掏出，一张张对齐放在一起。好景不长，爸爸突然“狞笑”着推门进来：“来吧，压岁钱老爸帮你管着。”我极不情愿，还没捂热乎的压岁钱就被拿走了。

春节这个传统节日，时间让它的形式可能有所变化，但改变不了的，是那份阖家欢聚的亲情。瞧，这，就是过年。

China has many traditional festivals among the year. But I like Mid-Autumn Festival the most. It means harvest, because it is celebrated in the harvest season. And it is the time for famers to express their thanks for harvest. In addtion, it’s the day for reunion. Some people call it Tuanyuanjie. The people work or study far away from home will come back to get-together with their families. They will eat a big meal and mooncake at that time. I hate parting but love reunion. So Mid-Autumn Day is my favorite festival.

“十，九，八……三，二，一!!!”随着倒计时，我们迎来了新的一年，外面鞭炮齐鸣，火树银花，我又长了一岁了，当然最开心的是，我拿到了一只只厚厚的压岁包。里面包含着家人对我深深地爱……

过了除夕，新年正月开始，许多家门口都还贴着红红的春联，大家走亲访友，享受着这个合家团圆的假期!

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

我盼望已久的春节终于来到了，今年我们要到巢湖老家去过年，因为这是我第一次去老家过年，所以特别期待。

二十九的早晨我一大早起床，跟爸爸妈妈来到了火车站，坐上火车，大约四十几分钟就到了巢湖。

那里过年的年味很浓，家家户户门前都挂着大红灯笼，贴着春联，我奶奶准备了许多过年吃的东西：花生酥，花生糖，米糖，芝麻糖等，都是自己加工的。

最热闹的就是晚上了，就像在放烟花比赛一样，一个个五颜六色的烟花“嗖，嗖”地冲上天空，就像撑开的大伞然后徐徐落下，一个接着一个把黑夜变成了白天。我也在爸爸的帮助下放了好多的小礼花。

正月十五元宵节又是我们春节期间的一个重要节日，家家户户都会购买汤圆或自己做汤圆吃。吃汤圆表示我们大家团团圆圆、和和美美。

端午节(the Dragon Boat Festival)，又称重五节，于每年农历五月初五庆祝。

这是广泛流传2000多年的民间节日，也是中国最重要的节日之一。端午节当天举行各种庆祝活动，吃粽子和赛龙舟(dragon boat

racing)是其中的重要习俗。关于端午节的起源，有很多传说。一部分人认为端午节是为了纪念诗人屈原，另一部分人则认为是为了纪念战国时期的著名将领伍子胥。然而，屈原的传说流传最广。人们非常欣赏这位爱国诗人的高尚情操和出众才华，更对他投江自尽的结局深表同情。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But i havent bored all the time. sometimes i read the books, sometime i listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. and i also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. and i watched the spring festival party of the cctv in the last seconds of the 2004 year! i think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

我的家乡在湖阳镇，那是一个美丽的地方，而我们家乡的春节更加美丽。

过春节，家家都要放鞭炮,贴春联，我们家也不例外。去年，我们买了好几百元钱的鞭炮留到春节放，到了春节放鞭炮的时候，我家放的鞭炮十分壮观。

白天的时候，我就忍不住带上我的小妹一起出去放鞭炮。她比较胆小，所以她只放摔炮和烟雾弹。而我比较胆大，什么炮都敢放。每次我一放钻天猴，小妹都会被我吓得大叫，而这时也是我最得意最高兴的时候了。

到了晚上，全家人还要包饺子，看春节晚会。大多数时间，我也会参加到包饺子的行列中去。

这就是我的家乡--湖阳镇的春节，虽然没有那些大城市里的烟花漂亮，也不如那些大城市繁华，但是我还是喜欢它，因为它是我的家乡，希望你也能来我们家乡做客！
