客人离去，看着这么多的压岁钱，我迫不及待的把这些压岁钱拆开，把里面的钱放在我的小金库里。放完钱，我暗自高兴，心想:要是天天都过年该多好啊!

唉，这真是一个快乐的春节啊!

春节是最隆重的节日，在这盛大的节日，家家户户张灯结彩，喜气洋洋，鞭炮在人们手中点燃，噼里啪啦，四处飞溅，仿佛要把每一个祝福送到千家万户。今年的春节，我在姥姥老家过的，热闹极了。

大年三十早晨，我们全家人就忙开了。爸爸在大门上贴春联。我和姥爷贴福字，妈妈和姥姥包饺子……

晚上，该是吃年夜饭的时候了，厨房里飘着诱人的香味，桌上摆放着丰盛的晚餐，看得我口水直流。桌中间有一条鱼，表示年年有余。一家人欢欢喜喜围坐在桌子面前，津津有味地品尝着年夜饭，其乐融融，屋里充满了幸福美好的气氛。

八点整，我们准时打开了电视机，收看“春节联欢晚会”。这次的晚会演绎的非常精彩，那悠扬的歌声，使人陶醉其中;那优美的舞姿，使人赞不绝口;那精彩的相声小品，使人开怀大笑……阵阵欢声笑语荡漾在我们的周围。其中最另我惊讶的是张伟，他的声音如此的嘹亮，一个男生的声音能达到一个高音上，很了不起。

从初一开始，亲朋好友欢聚一堂，品尝着美酒佳肴，谈天说地，有说有笑。家家户户一大早就帮着去拜年，最高兴的则是我们这帮小孩子，可以大把大把地收取压岁钱，欢天喜地跑到街上去买很多好玩的东西，好吃的东西，觉得自己永久长不大，在这次考试中我失利了，所有的亲人鼓励我在新的一年里，学习更上一层楼!我会加油，会努力的!

一转眼，时间流逝的很快，春节也过去了，新的一年又开始了，我们恋恋不舍的回家了……

“爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符。”时间过得真快，我才伸了个懒腰，打了个哈欠，春节就要来临了。

看着一天天临近的春节，我兴奋不已，缠着妈妈给我买新衣服，妈妈欣然同意了。我拉着妈妈一蹦一蹦地进了商场，我挑了一件紫色的毛衣，上面有一个特漂亮的小女孩，他穿着紫色的裙子，带着盛开着粉色鲜花的花环，漂亮极了！

春节终于到了，一大早我就穿上了新衣服，吃过早饭，就迫不及待地穿上外衣，嚷着要奶奶带我出去转转。刚走出门口，我就不由自主地感叹一声：“哇！”现在外面被装饰得张灯结彩，街上的人都穿着干净整洁衣服，把自己打扮的漂漂亮亮的，隐隐还能听到远处“嘭！啪”的鞭炮声，热闹极了！我也禁不住捋了捋衣襟。

夜晚在大家的期盼下来临了，八点整我们全家坐在电视机前看春晚，中途我们吃了一顿年夜饭，年夜饭很丰盛，很好吃。吃饺子时我吃到了好多硬币，特别开心！

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. This I hope will help me enter into business commerce with business organizations partnering with Chinas economic development.

I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. But I dont know if the result of the test is recognized by your university. If so, can it be a help for me to apply for the scholarship?

我爱中国菜 I Love Chinese Food

Chinese food is famous all around the world. A lot of foreigners speak

highly of the delicious food when they come to this big country. For me， I like

spicy food， so hot pot is my favorite. I can eat what I like and put the food in

the spicy soup. The hotness makes me feel so cool. No matter where I go， Chinese

food is always my favorite.

中国菜闻名全世界，有很多外国人来到这个大国以后都会赞扬美味的食物。对我来说，我喜欢辣的食物，所以火锅是我的最爱。我可以把我喜欢吃的食物放进辣汤里就可以吃到自己喜欢的食物

了，辣味让我觉得太酷了。无论我去哪里，中国菜永远是我的最爱。

今天，爸爸去砖桥给我买了20xx响的“大地红”2挂，擦炮20盒，烟花1捆，跳跳虎（在地上转圈的烟花）1盒。我兴奋极了，美得像齐天大圣——孙悟空偷喝了玉皇大帝的仙酒似的。后来，又在那里翻筋斗，竖蜻蜓。美完以后，我急忙拆了1盒擦炮，拿着香和火机下楼去了。

到了下面，真是会家不忙，我把火机打出火来，往香上烧，香就着了，我连忙把火机往兜里一放，顺手点燃了一只花炮，一扔，咦？怎么回事，那花炮竟然不响。我正在纳闷，突然，只听“呯”的一声，把我吓了一跳。我又尝试将二个擦炮放在一块，一起点，然后，又试着三个、四个一起点。最后，我索性拿出火机把一盒连同盒子一齐点燃，“呯、呯、呯……”一阵响声过后，我看见纸还在烧，索性用脚把它给灭了。我又欢欢喜喜回家去了。

这是多么令人难忘的一桩事啊！

一年三百六十五天之中，最令我期待，也最令我开心的，当之无愧便是春节的短暂几天。没有烦恼，无尽的欢乐总是这个节日的主旋律。春节，不仅热闹，还有许多末曾发现过的美——这个节日，也因此而倍受欢迎。

往往还没到过年，年味已渐渐浓厚起来。大年二十七、二十八，无论屋子或大或小，家人或多或少，家家户户都会开始大扫除。家中的每一个角落，每一块地板，每一块玻璃，都会被擦得一尘不染。人们看到整洁的屋子，当然会忘记却打扫的辛苦，心中的烦恼也会如灰尘一般，烟消云散。所以，纵使辛苦的劳作，也无法减淡春节之美，反而为其增光添彩。春节之美，美在劳动。

encouraging for the contestants. The contestants listened with confidence and

strove hard to paddle, and the water splashed everywhere. Each dragon boat

chased after each other. At last, the laggard No. 1 finally caught up with the

far ahead No. 2. The audience couldnt help cheering. There was a sea of joy

everywhere. Ah! This is the most unforgettable day for me.
