(3).迟慢;拖延。 元 宫天挺 《范张鸡黍》第三折：“你为甚不肯上坟坵，枉教那一二千人都落后。” 元 本 高明 《琵琶记·牛相派人接伯喈家眷》：“这一封柬子，外有金银钱米与你作盘缠，休要落后了。”

(4).怠慢。 元 本 高明 《琵琶记·五娘劝解公婆争吵》：“寧可饿死奴家，决不将公婆落后了。”
