The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. 水是生命之源，生命之本，人类的健康离不开水。人可以几天不进食，但不可以几天不喝水。而现在，全球有20亿人口正处于严重缺水状况!!水的危机，已经向人类敲响了警钟!

中国的水资源虽然比较丰富，但是大部分水都是海水,而海水是咸的,是不能直接饮用的;再加上大部分淡水都分布在寒冷的南、北两极和终年积雪的高山上,这样淡水资源就所剩无几了。而且分布不均，东多西少，南多北少，缺水的地方很多。

2、在家中用水要勤俭节约。洗完菜的水不要倒掉，还可以用来浇水、浇花等。还要让家长在工作单位上也节约用水。不要以为工家的水就可以浪费了。这是不正确节约水的表现。也是不负责任的表现。

3、如果见到有人故意破坏水源，应勇敢的向他劝说，并说明破坏水源会给我们带来极大的危险。而且让他以后要保护水资源。遇到劝阻不听的，并且情节严重的，要直接报告有关部门，用法律来惩罚他们。
